we were told 45 minutes for our delivery to arrive at (5:25) at 5:35 they called to ask if we received our order (1 pizza) we said no. at 5:45 it arrived cold! we live 2 miles from the store. I called to let them know it had arrived and was cold. told if we waited 45 more minutes we'd get a new one. I said no I want my money back or free the next time, I was told NO. bring the pizza back myself and I could have a 50% off coupon. the lady had hung up on me 3 times during all this. I've been a fan of Marco's since I moved to Champions but today they lost a customer. I had a pizza delivered and when I closed the door and turned around the pizza box popped open on the side and the pizza fell out on the floor. The delivery guy had already taken off so when I called the manager he said "Oh yeah, those boxes have been a problem" AND REFUSED TO REPLACE THE PIZZA despite this being Marco's fault. After haggling with the manager he finally offered 50% off a replacement but then charged me $5 for delivery again. Wish Marco's was consistent! I used to eat it back home a lot and it was yummy. Being that it's a chain I expect consistency no matter the location. Today I had a chicken Caesar salad and it was so gross I had to toss it. The croutons were soggy and the chicken was freezing. The wings I asked for did not come with dipping sauce. Ordered here the other night first time at this location. I've had it at other locations. Ordered online given a 15 min pick up time. I waited an additional five minutes to be safe. Got there for pick up when I gave my name the guy at the counter looked like a deer in headlights saying ahhh it's going to be just a bit. The bit was enough time to cook the orders from scratch so I want too happy. Another guy standing off to the side In the prep area for the pizzas stuffing his face with what looked like bread sticks and dipping sauce which I Persians didn't feel was the right place to be consuming. Anyways got my two pizzas one traditional one thin crust. Kind of pricey for that they were seriously $31 for two smaller pizzas. The thin crust tasted really good and looked good. The other pizza a veggie way under cooked probably because it wasn't ready when I got there and they rushed it. I had to end up placing it my oven to cook for additional time. Food is amazing management needs work. I get the wrong order get told it can be redelivered entire time I'm thinking it's coming get called 20 minutes later to get told I have to reorder it myself on DoorDash again. I'm already tired I ordered it ahead of time so I could eat when I get home instead of him just fixing the issue they have my address etc I get told that after the fact. It's disappointing. I like how you can sit down inside and enjoy your order, and I liked how Suzie opened the box for me and asked me if it looked good and if I was satisfied, and reiterated my order before my significant other dragged me out to get the car. Ordered a pizza to avoid cooking as we await this hurricane coming soon. Really upset they told me wait time was about 40 minutes no problem I get everybody's thinking the same thing. My kids were literally staring out the windows for an hour waiting for the doorbell. I tried calling the store only to keep getting Busy signals. I asked my son to dump the garbage a half an hour after that he opens the door to find the pizza cold at the front door. Mind you nobody rang the doorbell and nobody knocked on our door. I've driven past this place a million times and written it off as just another pizza company in a sea of steep local competition. However, when heard a few of my coworkers talking about Marco's being the only place they order from, I took notice. There is nothing majorly unique about the menu options and toppings, but WOW is the pizza incredible. It's greasy af, but I will gladly pop a few antacids and devour this pizza ANY DAY, ANY TIME. We thin crust, 10 in pizzas - good but not great. We got what we ordered - timely and hot - delivered to your table. Now for something funny - we overheard two orders messed up - one with the wrong items on the pizza, and one took a long time! Also a take out order that was not "tagged" with a name - the order was correct, but it could have been a potential problem. So, be careful when ordering! 1. Service - I applaud the young man that serviced me the one time I came in. I've ordered 2 sandwiches in 2 different transactions on the same day within 30 minutes. I've paid full price for both transactions, and apparently there was a deal going on that day. I think it was buy one sandwich full price, and pay the 2nd half off. Well, 5 minutes after my 2nd transaction, the teenager came up to my table and told me about the offer. He was very polite, and very honest. He returned half my money on the 2nd sandwich. He could have ignored it, and brush it off since I've already paid. His coworkers were making fun of him and saying that he was too honest, but his one action of honesty and integrity makes me want to come back. It is guys like that, that makes an establishment stand out. My hats off to you young man. 2. Price - For any Sandwiches, they range from $5 for a 6", and $8 for a foot long. As for Pizza, they range from $10.99 to $17.99 depending on size (Small, Medium, Large, XL). 3. Ambiance - Fast Food joint. Dress Code is casual. Order and pay at the counter, and wait for your food. Fill your own drinks and grab your own tableware. 4. Food - Their pizza is very different from other places I've been. As far as pizza deliveries, I've always been a fan of Domino's. I am absolutely repulsed. I went to pick up a pizza and the woman that is making the pizzas has one glove on the other hand is not gloved. Absolutely love this pizza chain! Everything is made fresh and it seems like you just pulled it from the oven when you reheat it. The only pizza I know that reheats this well is Papa Murphys. The employees are always really friendly. I have not ever been here and someone was rude. They always make an effort to strike up a conversation with you. That's what keeps me coming back. Sitting here in the resturant I'm hearing complaining from the employees, then arguing, then someone saying "I need a do over" .. laughter because they made a pizza wrong... When they first opened we ordered a hot sandwich. It was not my thing which is ok. We decided to try a small pizza yesterday. WOW is all I can say. I normally order Double Dave's Pizza because they make the dough fresh and have great cheese compared to Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut etc. After eating Marcos I will never order from anywhere else for delivery. I can not put into words how good it tasted. Nothing fancy about the dough, sometimes simple is the best! The staff was nice. We ordered to go and only had to wait about 15 minutes for a small pizza and two orders of wings. The place was clean and I could see it being a cool local hangout. When this place opened, it was very good. They acted like they cared about their customers and food was great. The last time I had Marcos Pizza, I got sick. I had diarrhea the next day also. It tasted horrible. I provided feedback via their website 2x about it. I never got reply. That to me resembles horrible management. I've had experiences with Papa Johns that were similar. These big franchises simply don't care about their customers. I will never order from Marcos again. The last order was 2 medium pizzas with pepperoni and mushrooms. I also got breadsteaks. We started out ordering from MARCOS soon after they opened in the area. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Last night during game 3 of the World Series we ordered a pizza at 7pm. It took over 2 hrs to get to us after being told 45 min. I am not complaining about the time but acknowledging the fact that although my order was extremely late. The staff was still very polite and apologetic about the delay. They openly explained they were swamped beyond belief. I understand this happens during big game days. Not a big g deal.
