Ordered a small Hawaiian Chicken Pizza to go. Pizza was hot and tasty! It was a Saturday night and it definitely showed, as they seemed pretty busy in the kitchen. All workers seemed to be working hard to keep up with the orders coming in. The two people that waited on me (during my ordering process and then later at pick up) were friendly. The place kind of reminded me of a fast-food type of pizza chain, although I'm not familiar enough with the business to say if that is indeed the case. I remember having Marco's Pizza a few times as a child growing up in Northwest Ohio 20+ years ago. I remember it being good, but it didn't stand out. Fast forward to October 2018. I'd lived in Upper Arlington for 9 years at that point, and had never tried this Marco's Pizza joint at Reed & Henderson. My family was ordering mostly from Jet's and Papa John's. We'd attended The Slice of Columbus for a number of years, but Marco's was never a participant (that I can remember.) If it weren't for my neighbor hosting a pre-trick-or-treat party and serving Marco's to us, we may have never tried them. And we are so thankful that they did! Better crust, toppings, and cheese than Papa John's, Dominos, Donatos, and Pizza Hut. Way more affordable than Jet's. (especially if you sign up for their e-mails-- they send our weekly e-coupons!) We've definitely switched our pizza allegiance to Marco's in 2019. I'd say that 80% of our takeout pizza orders this year has been through them. read more

As a long time Marco's fan, I am a bit shocked with the service I received tonight. After getting our order home and realizing it was wrong, returned to the store for a partial refund (was not going to wait for them to remake it), they didn't have a way to do that in the system. Cook gave me cash out of his pocket, so that was nice. Back at home, eating my sub and found a piece of plastic in it. Rather large. Called to tell them and after sitting on hold for 10 minutes, called back, but the guy couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I was trying to explain where he should look for more so no other customer got some as well. He said, "I don't know what to tell you." Also disappointed I couldn't leave feedback on their new app. Hopefully next time will be a better experience. read more

I've heard of Marco's because they've got a few locations in Lexington but I had never tried it. My family and I ordered a large chicken fresco pizza to-go. There was only one guy on staff and he was slammed but was able to make our pizza in 20 minutes time. He was so personable and just an all around nice guy. The pizza tasted really fresh. I'm a huge fan of Marcos, and every time I order from one of their competitors, my love grows stronger! They are an inexpensive chain with great quality pizzas. They hire awesome staff, and interactions are always very positive. The online ordering is great, and I love the tracker that is at the end of the order process. (This comes from a past "Corporate Trainer" of restaurants) The location is small and in a strip mall, but it is always clean. Really nice experience overall. We ordered online which was a breeze. We checked out the specials and ordered the Pepperoni Magnifico (Cheese, roma seasoning, pepperoni, old world pepperoni and our signature pizza sauce.) The old world pepperoni is small and curls up into a little bowl which is crispy at the top. We ordered the original crust which is not too thick and not too thin. The amount of cheese and toppings were great. The seasonings were tasty. We also added the garlic butter crust. Really good. When you order online you get a status page to track your order. When it was being delivered, it gave us the name of the driver and told us how many minutes until he arrived. Really cool! Our delivery guy (Tommy?) was very nice and delivered a hot, fresh pizza to us. Since they have a loyalty club, we received some reward points for our order. Yum! The first time I've ever had this pizza was three days ago, and we just ordered again. I'm honestly usually a donatos person but we wanted to switch it up. The hubs did a google search close to our house and this place popped up. I didn't think I'd enjoy it but we got the pepperoni melt (double meat, double cheese) with the buttery garlic crust and YUMM! Everything I like in a pizza! Triangle cut, medium thickness crust (though they offer thin and thick, we got original), tasty sauce, and non rubbery cheese thank goodness! Your mileage may vary. Marcos got slammed on a Friday night and despite being staffed well they fell behind on orders. When I arrived for carryout the lobby was packed with people and there was a general sense of confusion. I had to ask other customers what was going on because the staff weren't helping out. They were busy, but it seemed like us carryout folks were being ignored. According to the projected time for my online order, I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my pizza. What made this worse is that the online pizza tracker said my pizza was available a full 5 minutes before it came out. Another guy showed me his status and it showed picked up despite staff saying it was still in the oven. There is a definite problem there. The staff worked hard and were friendly. I don't know that they could have got the pizzas out faster. They just need to work on communication and customer relations. The pizza itself was pretty basic and not to my tastes. The pepperoni was greasy and the crust dense. Probably my favorite part was the Parmesan-dusted garlic butter crust. Not that unusual but it worked well. I probably won't order again. read more

The only place we order pizza from. Delivery or pickup, pizza is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I have no region-based loyalties to pizza; delicious dough and cheese are mostly what matters to me. Marco's satisfies every time, plus they're generous with coupons, and they give you a $10 coupon for every $100 you spend. Ordered 2 large thin crust pizzas for dinner tonight. We opened the boxes when we got home and one of the pizzas was THICK CRUST!! YUCK!!! I called the store to tell them the order was wrong and Jacob (one of store Managers) told me he was sorry and he would remake the pizza IF I WOULD COME BACK IN TO PICK IT UP. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I would've thought he would've just had it delivered but THAT apparently wasn't an option. He did say he would "give me a credit" the next time we bought a pizza but I would have to "remind" them.
