We came to Grandview Theater to try Fibonacci's pizza while seeing the new Michael Jackson movie. We ordered a pizza and one of their sandwiches, which is made using the pizza dough. The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza. read more

A fun option for takeout pizza with lots of options to choose from. That said, I suspect that the experience would be enhanced dining in with a drink and a movie. I tried half of the Licensed to Dill which was just okay. Pickles on pizza isn't really my thing. Pesto on pizza wasn't really my thing either, but having half of a an Ecto Pesto changed my mind. Perhaps the chicken and bacon on the pie was what I really liked, but the point is that it all came together surprisingly well. It definitely gave me hope for the more meat-heavy pizza options that I tend to prefer. read more

Was an unusual pizza place/ movie theater. We ordered salads and artichoke spinach dip and all were very tasty. We were all splitting our meals so they brought it in foam take out box and gave us some paper plates and plastic forks. The service was ok and the decor was all movie related. This place is a unique business concept, unlike any other in the city. Part movie theater, part bar, part pizzeria, this place boasts 40 draft beers, a solid liquor collection, delicious pizzas subs and salads, and unique special events. They had some Christmas specialty drinks. The food came out very quickly even though there were quite a few people ordering. Serving from Studio 35 this pizza place is the real deal. All are 12 inches and the chewy, doughy delicious crust. We had the Fig-a-ma-jig which is Garlic EVOO base, house cheese, goat cheese, prosciutto, organic Smyrna figs, organic arugula, fig glaze. Also did the Hot Swarm which is House red sauce, House Cheese, Ezzo cup & char pepperoni, ricotta, pepper flake, Triple Hex hot honey. So, I was really looking forward to getting pizza here. There are some really glowing reviews. We ordered 2 pizzas: Widows bite (garlic ricotta, house cheese, classic pepperoni, mozzarella and triple hex hot honey) The Camorra (Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper) The toppings were really good. Unfortunately, the bottoms of both pizzas had a horrible burnt taste. Like burnt garlic. Just horribly bitter. The tops did not look burnt at all. When we looked at the bottoms of the pizzas, they did NOT LOOK BURNT. They had some black charred spots/dots, but it didn't seem like it should be burnt enough to have this awful taste. It was quite unpleasant. All I can think was perhaps there burnt garlic pieces left on the pizza pan that the crusts were baked on. I don't know , but all agreed it was bad. We ate the toppings off and called it a day. We would not order pizza from here again. It's unfortunate, because the toppings really were tasty. But they could not overcome the bitter on the crust. read more

Pretty solid pizza attached to Studio 35, so instead of dinner and a movie, you can have dinner at the movie. We usually get a make your own hand tossed, and the crust is very good, but since it's hand tossed and wood fired, you get a little more crust than I would like, so it's much improved with a side of dipping sauce. I love the balsamic drizzle and there's a good variety of topping to chose from. There are tables in the theater near the bar, and a table/bar in the back few rows of the theater. If you're in the bar area, they'll bring your pizza to your table if it's not too busy. If it's busy or you're already in the movie, you get a text and go to the bar to grab your order. read more

Ever since Fibonacci's Pizza opened in Studio 35, I have another reason to love coming here! I've enjoyed the movie theater itself for a long time, and the fact that you could always order food from a place next door to eat in the theater while watching a movie. However, since they instead decided to open their own pizzeria in-house, it has been even better! Their specialty pizzas are amazing. The crust is thin but not too thin, and they always have a different variety of toppings to try. The Abe Froman continues to be my favorite, but I am continually trying out a different pizza offering when I go. This is @fibonaccispizzeria It's an old movie theatre that plays movies and a pizza restaurant. It has an old-fashioned feel, dimly lit and full of pleasant people working there. They have a 60+ seat movie theatre upstairs and a 200 seat theatre downstairs. You can order and eat your food in either one of the theatres. This week they are playing "King Kong vs. Godzilla." I ordered a regular pepperoni, cup char pepperoni, basil, light olive oil, and a light sprinkle of garlic. It's your classic Neapolitan-style pizza composed of essential ingredients, and they do it so well. This is located inside Studio35. I call about 15-20 minutes ahead of when I want my food and drive over to pick it up from the bar. I think they have a spot right outside the door for pizza pickup but I've been parking on the street and walking down. I have gotten the Caprese sandwich which isn't heavy and held up well so I could eat the other half the next day for lunch. I was worried there would be a heavy hand with the balsamic vinegar but there wasn't. I can't stop ordering the Hot Swarm pizza. It's big enough for two people to share or for one person to have two or more meals. (It has six slices.) I never taste the pepper flakes and usually add extra but it's the rest of the ingredients that make it for me. I love crispy pepperoni and the cup and char version they use fits what I like. It's Ezzo brand which is a local company. The ricotta cheese is dotted along the top. The creaminess provides a different texture to the bite. The hot honey (apparently this was a trending food item mentioned in Yelp 2020 reviews) adds a surprising sweetness and light heat. You'll get it on every slice but not every bite. It's easier to taste the next day when eating the pizza at room temperature (I know, I'm a monster). The oven leaves a char on the crust and imparts a smoky flavor. You can order pizza with vegan items and they offer a gluten free crust for $3 more. The last time I was in, my pizza wasn't ready - there'd been an issue with the register so the order didn't take but one of the servers remembered speaking with me. I had planned on ordering a beer to go and popcorn so I had my beer there at a single table (it felt really weird because of the social distancing between seating and I hadn't been in a restaurant since August) and my popcorn was free for the inconvenience. Yes, if the popcorn machine is on you can buy movie popcorn (with scoops of m&ms) too. They now have an XL (70-ounce) size. Most of the staff have been there for years and they are always friendly. They currently have one glass for clean/sanitized pens and one for used pens to make checking out easier. I've heard complaints from others about the pizza pricing (it's about the same size as Harvest Pizzeria lunch pizzas but the price of their dinner pizzas and comparable in price to Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza only smaller) but (1) I only have the Hot Swarm to base it on, (2) I no longer have to wait on the pizza place down the street to make a bunch of pizzas and deliver them in batches, and (3) considering they aren't holding in-person beer tastings and people aren't really going to movies in the theater these days, I don't mind paying a few more bucks to help keep my local movie theater in business. They do have a Monday pizza price special if you're looking to save a few dollars. read more

We were looking through Yelp for a new pizza spot to try and saw Fibonacci's was #2 and the pictures looked great so we went for it. We placed an online order for a later pickup and that worked well. (I will note when you go to create a custom pizza the site asks if you want sauce on your pizza and I had to call and ask if this meant extra sauce or if it was a given that there was sauce on it and I was told sauce is standard, that was an option for extra sauce). We pulled up and wife jumped up to pick up two pizzas, garlic bread and a salad. She said the interior was nice (old school movie theater) and was interested in coming back for a movie and drinks. We were hungry so we each snagged a piece of garlic bread for the drive home and my immediate thought was "this is good but was cooked too long". The garlic bread was a bit crunchy and not soft and the cheese was not very gooey. We get home and start eating and I'd say the same went for the pizzas: it was all cooked just a few minutes too long. There was definite charring on the bottom of all the pizzas, indicative of a wood fired grill which idk is their cooking method or not, but the family almost as a whole said they didn't care for the pizza bc it was burnt. Again, we placed an advance order giving them an hour and a half lead and pickup was right around 5:30 so I'd imagine early enough in the evening to not be rushed when cooking and burn them by mistake. I'd be willing to give them another shot to see if that was how they normally cook their pizzas and bread or if this was a random night of over cooking, but I think my family is not interested. I give them a 3-star average, family would probably be a 2-star. read more

Online ordering was fairly simple--although it is a little confusing because the name on the ordering site isn't Fibonacci's Pizzeria, but Studio 35. My spouse and I got a Fig-a-ma-jig and an Abe Froman, and we weren't disappointed. It's a nice chewy thin crust Neapolitan style (my personal fave), and the toppings were nice and balanced.
