Didn't think I could find a better Sicilian pizza than Aldo's pizza! Boyfriend and I were in search of food after our deadly workout haha. Originally planned for Wendy's but we saw this place and he goes "I hear their pizza is good" but has yet to even come here once so we thought why not! We got two slices of pizza: Sicilian and buffalo! It looked like they had a variety of crust from deep dish to thin crust. The crust on the sicilian definitely does remind me of deep dish but super crispy which I love!! The buffalo also had thick crust and I enjoyed it as well but not as much as the Sicilian. The reason why their pizza slightly beats Aldo's is the crust. Sometimes Aldo's crust is too hard and I feel like I might cut myself but don't get me wrong their pizza is bomb. We paid ~$7 ish for two slices but they were HUGE so not bad. I'll probably be back! read more

My husband has ate here before and said he never had a problem; in town visiting family and decided to order some pizza; took two bites and that was enough to cause me to become sick; we threw out the entire pie. After leaving the hospital because my husband said their pizza has been good in the past I was like okay let me call them it was probably a one time thing and we can just get a replacement. The customer service was HORRIBLE !! The manger Nicole had the worse attitude; zero concern. Told us it wasn't her problem. After I asked to speak to someone with a better attitude she put me on a long hold; came back and seemed concerned then just responded " there's nothing I am willing to do" told her we just wanted a fair solution to the issue to which she said she wouldn't provide; so when I let her know I would contact the health department after she told me " this is how our pizza is made " she said go ahead that's not a problem. We never once asked for a refund just a replacement to what we completely overpaid for. Will be contacting the health department as no one should have to experience this; then receive such horrible " customer service " she claims there was no one above her to speak to and no owner would care of my bad experience so they don't care about the quality of their food nor providing a good experience to their costumers. read more

Couldn't decide on what to eat tonight so the girlfriend and I chose to check out Marcos pizza since receiving the menu in the mail. Figured we'd give it a shot. I called the order ahead for pickup. I placed the order for a Crispy chicken avocado salad and a personal buffalo chicken pizza. They stated 20-25 min. I have to say the food was just coming out when I was arriving. So that's a plus. During this pandemic no employees were wearing masks. Got the food home ready to eat I opened my salad to find out they gave me the wrong salad. They gave me the plain old crispy chicken salad which had bacon in it and my girlfriend cannot eat bacon. Which is why we ordered the one without. Upon playing my salad and removing the bacon off hers I started to eat. Only to see a dead bug or beetle of some sort in my salad. This completely turned us off and we could not even finish the salad. We didn't even get in two bits before we saw this. I would say something like that on a first experience is not a good start. Hopefully somehow they can make it right or refund the charge. I don't typically write negative reviews about a place and give them a few chances but this is where I draw the line with dead bugs in my meal. Back to one of the many other pizza places around. used to love Marco's, so went in with a friend for a few slices & it was awful! - like stale cardboard! So I asked if there was a new cook & a rude man said no. So I asked if there was a new manager or owner & the rude man said "no!" Then I saw 2 employees in back of the rude man nodding "yes" & pointing to the rude man! I said that the pizza was so bad that I wouldn't be coming back, thinking that the same rude man would want to know why, ...so the man said, "fine, don't come back." We've been looking for a solid pizza and sandwich shop and this was the best we've had in a long time. The balsamic chicken sub was well-seasoned and the chicken was tender. The pepperoni stromboli was the first I've had in the Holland area that had an even balance of bread and fillings, and the sauce was excellent. Arrived after 15 min and had to wait another 25 minutes on top of that. As if that's not bad enough, my order wasn't even close to right, and it was gross. My whole experience with Marco's Pizzeria last week was absolutely horrible. I placed a $300+ catering lunch order with them and it arrived 1 hour and 15 mins late. I called multiple times to find out where my order was and I was literally fed every excuse in the book: 'It'll be 5-10 mins' 'I didn't see your order in the computer' 'The driver had a double flat tire' and those were the only excuses I can remember. There were countless more. There is nothing else I can say about this experience with Marco's Pizzeria and I would highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere unless you have lots of time to waste waiting on a food order that may never come. read more

There's about 4 pizzeria's in all of Newtown. With limited options comes limited quality. Food 2/5 I ordered a large cheese pie with half mushrooms. Not hard to screw up. Did they screw up? No, but this is literally the definition of the average pie with some poor technique. This was the "guy I settled with after wilding out in college" average pie. You know, your current boyfriend who wears Sperrys all year around and owns salmon colored pants or "chinos". Went to a private school and listens to J.Cole a little too much. If this pie was a rap album, it would be a Big Sean or Wiz Khalifa album. If we're talking generic pop, very Taylor Swift-Esque. I got home and forgot I ordered it. In regards to poor technique, use brined mushrooms or mushrooms in good olive oil because fresh mushrooms dry out. Which they did. Service 4/5 I don't really know where to place this. The guys were nice. The lady, I assume the owner or manager, was sweet. Ambience 3/5 It's average. At least it's clean but read the above roast sesh. What's the cost price of pizza? 3-4 dollars tops? Why are you charging 13.5 for a large that's actually a medium in size. The sauce was so canned you'd get caught up in a metal detector from the metallic taste. The staff weren't as bad as people reviewed them to be, the cleanliness of the place was also OK, where the pizza sits you can tell isn't normally cleaned. I had the spaghetti and meatballs which were actually decent, the tomato paste was super watery which threw me off but the meatballs were pretty good. My co worker had the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak and fries and I tried some of the other half and it was yet again, OK. Overall it's a decent place if you're close but I wouldn't really recommend them as a first stop location. read more

After a lifetime of NY slices, I popped into Marco's for my first Bucks County pizza. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the quality was. The pizza was fresh and crispy, the cheese to sauce ratio made sense and the overall flavor was quite good. The only negative was that the cheese was a bit too salty for my taste, but it wasn't a bad slice by any means. We've actually been back a few times since I ate here and we've enjoyed the pizza each time. I'm not sure I'd call this a go to pizza spot just yet, but they definitely do get the job done. read more

The suburban dream is alive at Marco's. Risen like a phoenix out of the ashes (seriously, it burned down when I was at college and was a huge tragedy), Marco's is back and better than ever. Serving the same topping-heaped slices (I know of nobody else who can get away with slopping ziti or tortellini on a giant pizza slice) as they ever have been, this place is a waystation for people seeking something extra with their pizza. My personal favorite is their taco pizza, topped with lettuce, tomato, ground beef, and sauce. They usually have a few slices out, and the result is the perfect combination of crispy and crunchy (not an easy task to have the lettuce come out okay). If you're coming in for a quick lunch, I highly recommend Marco's. read more

Placed an online order last night at 8:45pm and never received my order. I called around 9:50 and just received the answering machine. I have had them neglect to deliver an order before but let it slide. I order here consistently on almost a weekly basis and I was hoping the previous mistakes were flukes. Made a large order online for delivery. Food was delivered over an hour late. When I asked the driver why he was so late, he just said they were really busy. Well for one, if you're too busy to deliver orders in a timely manner, don't take so many orders, two - don't tell you're customers it will be 55 to 60 minutes when it's going to be over 2 hours. When we finally did receive our food, the hot sandwiches were cold, the cold sandwiches were dried out and the onion rings were soggy. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from Marco's Pizza anytime soon read more

Oh, Marco's... I would say that this is the best "overall" pizza joint in Newtown. I wouldn't say that they make the best pizza pie in Newtown per-se, as I have another Newtown staple in mind when it comes to pies. However, I would rank them second best when it comes to their plain cheese pies. What they do have that is number one is the fan-freaking-tastic sandwiches! One can never go wrong by ordering their Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich that comes absolutely stuffed with chicken. So much so that it takes much effort of the soon to be satisfied eater to keep all of the deliciousness from spilling onto your plate. When it comes to service, it can't be beat. The owners (I think they are the owners) are ALWAYS on site and I believe these poor fellas never get a day off because every time I have ever gone, the same guys are there to great me with a smile. I'll give you a tip; prior to the fire that closed the store they had a sandwich called the Marco's Special Steak. However, upon reopening the item no longer appeared on the menu. We have ordered delivery from Marco's at least 7 or 8 times over the last several years. Of those instances, they have been on time (meaning within 10 minutes of the scheduled delivery, give or take) once. Several times, we had to call to see what was up with our order. We really aren't picky (as evidenced by the number of times we've gone back to ordering from them) or demanding customers. Since they recently reopened, I convinced my husband that we should give them another chance. Well, they tried delivering our order to a completely different location and, like a half hour after our estimated delivery, we got some room temp poppers and pizza. In their defense, there are two streets with the same name in their delivery area. However, our address does not exist in the other and I'm sure this isn't the reason our delivery has been consistently delayed over the last few years. The food is pretty tasty, but we've had it with their terrible delivery and definitely won't be ordering from them again. It isn't worth it. We ordered our pizza and were given a delivery time of 30 minutes. The pizza came 1.5 hours later and was ice cold. When we called to speak to a manager, they hung up on us twice. Well I was correct not to go when u went in 3 people up front took a few minutes since they were talking to each other and one customer who was picking up order. I noticed the pizza out was dry but tried it any way, I noticed the floor filthy I have worked in pizza shops and never let area like this. Good prices, Great service, Big portions, Tasty food. Did a big order for party of 30 people - everyone loved the food: meatballs, hoagies, cheese steaks with everything (Works), pasta, salad with mozzarella and olives, pizza with and without cheese, chicken tenders and fries. Was able to accommodate a lot of different tastes and preferences. Cannolis and Tiramisu tray was included with the order and received special attention - people still asking me where the sweets came from. Special "Thank you" to Sal for helping me with the order and taken care of everything. AAA+++ I really hope this place will stay this way - I have a lot of big parties to come! read more
