We came here as a last minute idea on a cold day and I'll definitely be going back. Once you walk through the front doors there is a restaurant to the right where you can get a bite to eat before the show. You also have the option of concessions as well. It is a beautiful facility and very clean. Everyone that we came into contact with was extremely helpful. The price is fair for a movie theater. Inside the theater was beautiful. The seats are chosen when you buy your ticket (online was very easy). The chairs are made out of leather and have an electric reclining option. Loved it. Also, bring a blanket if you go. Not because it's cold, but those chairs are very comfortable to snuggle up in. Also something to note, the degree of slope in the theater is so great that even if someone is in front of you, it will not obstruct your view Service Everyone we came into contact with was very friendly and polite. I enjoy watching movies at this theater solely because I can recline my chair! The lounge seats are comfy for my husband and I to relax in. They are worn from what I could tell, but I expect it with the top row, middle seats. The theater has been fairly clean each time we've been (even in the drink station area), and the bathrooms are usually clean too. I like their rewards program, and I like their offer military prices. Overall upgrade wish would be for them to offer some alcohol options.

This was one of the nicest movie theaters I have ever been to. The staff was super friendly and the cleanliness was impeccable. The icing on the cake was the restaurant/bar which I can never find in many states. I would come here even if I wasn't going to see a movie but overall I wish more cinemas were like this.

This location is our favorite place to come see movies that is close to us. It's always clean, staff is friendly, and the snacks are good.

The place is starting to show its age. The seats have tears and there was trash behind them. Other than that the sound system is good.

Clean theater with lots of parking. Staff is nice and has been helpful when I had questions. $6.50 matinee you can beat that.

Parking is plentiful and it's easy to find. Plenty of movies to view on big screens, seated comfortably. Even the lower seats have a good view. Refreshments now have a single line, which seems easier and more fair to all to me. They have all the treats we appreciate, including Rockstar sodas for me. They still have the lounge, which we've enjoyed previously. Pricy, but convenient and well served. Still one of my favorites!

This place has changed a lot since it used to be 20 grand, but it's a pretty typical movie theater experience. The main difference was the seating. There's a leather-like covering over all the chairs in the theater, and they recline. This makes for a much more comfortable viewing experience. I haven't been to a lot of movies in the last several years, so maybe this is standard now, but it was a nice change. The only negative was that we had to switch seats three times. The first time we sat down my husband and I noticed that the armrest between us was broken. Not just a little loose, but like it was barely hanging on with a thread. So we picked another pair of seats, but before we sat down, we noticed that they both looked really sticky, like someone had wiped some sticky candy residue on them or something. Finally, we picked another pair of seats that were clean, but one of the recliners was really jerky and didn't work very well. Eventually, we found some seats that were clean and were in good working order, and were able to enjoy the movie. The restroom wasn't dirty, but it definitely has a lot of wear and tear. I guess I would say that about the whole facility... It could use some updating and TLC. Everything just seems dated and very well used.

The IMAX screen has faint vertical lines all through it and they are very evident when a bright/white scene is playing. (The Fortress of Solitude scene in Superman was unwatchable.) I will say the Dolby theater is still top notch. Great screen and so loud your seat shakes, if you're into that style of sound (I am). AMC Council Bluffs also does have way better snacks than their Omaha Westroads counterpart, so I appreciate that. But I don't go to the movies for the overpriced snacks. It's unfortunate that the IMAX is seemingly in disrepair or needs to be cleaned or something, because we loved that particular theater so much and would travel to CB just for that. But for now, we will see IMAX movies at the Westroads AMC and only head over to Council Bluffs if there is a Dolby screening we want to check out.

Unfortunately, the experience was even worse than I remembered. There were only two soda machines, and one had about 60% of the drink options unavailable. Neither machine had regular Coke. The popcorn oil also had a strange taste. The biggest issue however, was the sound in Auditorium 4. The subwoofer was severely overloaded, causing the seats to vibrate excessively, the front and rear speakers were out of sync for the first 15-20 minutes of the movie, creating a noticeable echo that made it very distracting and unpleasant to watch. I hope management addresses these issues because this theater has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't plan to return until these problems are fixed.

Hello Omaha we are lucky to have a place like this and not only one, but two locations in our beloved #HOmaha! Honestly, before I moved here, I researched if I could actually make this town work for me and after I saw some really good music venues and then stumbled upon this literal masterpiece, I was sold! This location was actually only set up after years of operation from my first beloved downtown location and how amazing for them to take charge of the historic Dundee theater when they were on the verge of shutting down and kept their legacy alive! In addition, to frequenting films in the North Downtown location we used to frequent the Dundee theater b/c it was just up the street from us and played these amazing hard to come by midnight movies! Not only does the film streams screen hard to find hidden gems and mostly independent movies, but they do so much for our community by showcasing films that are not only educational but entertaining and even house the very delicious Lola's! So, a perfect place for not only a dinner and a movie, but you can even get a brunch/lunch and a movie along with your favorite concessional items. So please come support this fantastic, cozy, quaint but amazing indie theater in town!

I've frequented the surrounding businesses before but finally go the chance to see a movie at the Dundee Theater. I conveniently purchased my tickets online for a movie I had no idea what the plot was about but saw a notation that it would be held in the smallest theater there, 25 seats, called the Linder Microcinema. It was an intimate theater yet I didn't feel neck pain when the movie finished from staring up at a large screen. The screen was the perfect size for the theater. The theater itself was easy to get to with ample parking out back. I didn't realize the theater screens were separated by Lola's but I think it makes it even more unique. Checking in for my ticket was a breeze as well as getting snacks at the concessions. I had such a lovely experience I'm already considering getting a membership for my boyfriend and myself to continue to check out their newly released movies and other movies they're showcasing.

What's frustrating about this theater is that there isn't a separate line to simply scan your ticket, despite their being booths available when you walk in. This means that people who've already bought their tickets have to wait in the same line as people getting snacks or purchasing tickets, which just bogs down the process for everyone involved. I recently went to see The Odyssey in IMAX opening night and the theater tried something new, which was arguably just as bad. Instead of having everyone wait in the same line for snacks and popcorn staff told us to stand in a separate line for a single booth to scan our tickets. The line did not move until about 10 minutes before the movie was set to start, maybe even less. When was the process started it did move at a good pace, but by then the line was literally out of the building. Why this theater has chosen to abandon already their built ticket booths that were being used as little as two years ago in favor of these slower, less customer friendly models I do not know. These line/ ticket taking models have led me to attend movie theaters that are farther away, some with less desirable food and drink selections. Scanning an already purchased ticket should be the last thing someone worries about when attending a movie, but this theater has made that possible Due to these reasons I only attend this theater when I wish to see a movie in IMAX, despite the friendly staff and good snack options.

I am updating my review of AMC Westroads to be 5 stars now…read more While they don't have as many snacks or treats as the Council Bluffs location, they actually take care of their theaters a little bit better. The IMAX at the Council Bluffs AMC is in bad shape, and they actually just shut it down to refurbish it recently, so I'm confused. There are lines running through the screen there at the CB AMC IMAX so it's very distracting. The AMC Westroads IMAX screen is perfect and very clear, in both visuals and audio. They're great for those little movies that come out (not the big ones we want to see in Dolby, Alamo features, etc.). The lobby and theater are usually pretty clean, and it's not super busy most times we've come, which is not the case at many other theaters. They don't have the comfy recliner seats that a lot of other theaters now have, but I can sit for two hours without needing to lay down for the movie LOL So while this theater is good for smaller movies that don't need to be seen in Dolby, they have now entered the IMAX game too as the superior contender vs. the larger IMAX at AMC Council Bluffs!
