We just moved to this area and I was skeptical to try this place because of how it looked on the outside but now I'm so thrilled because it is a hidden gem! The food was delicious so much so we ate here almost two days in a row. The burritos and tacos are so fresh and made to order. High quality food made with love in a clean kitchen. The restaurant is small and gets packed when lots of people place online orders for pick up. The wait is worth it though! Hips and guacamole are California-girl approved as are the salsas. So good.

Tried the steak a la Mexicana. Portion was large, included yellow rice, steak sautéed with peppers and onions and a side of beans and tortillas. Wish it came with some hot sauce! Food was good, not too salty, came out to about $20.

We love Marcy's and happily order it about twice a month. We just hosted a party and worked with Marcy's catering to have exactly what we were looking for: make your own chicken tacos, mixed fajitas and cheese quesadillas for 30 people. Everyone loved it and it was so good!!

    Carnitas soft shell tacos. Excellent.

The food was true authentic Mexican which I really love. I lived in San Diego for 3 years and can compete with good Mexican food out there. The service was really good. Husband and wife team were really friendly. Enjoyed ambiance.

Coworkers have raved about Marcy's so we gave it a try today. My coworker tried the salmon and was happy with it, said she would order it again. The beef tacos were somewhat dry and the beef bland; it seems like boiled beef. It's not ground beef, as I expected. The red and green sauces were very good and helped the tacos not to be so dry. The Azteca soup was also okay, but both the tacos and soup could have used more cilantro. I'll try this place again and try some different menu items, as I see lots of great reviews. Will definitely not be ordering anything with "beef".

I consider myself somewhat of an expert in this cuisine; first impressions are ridiculously amazing. Everything appears scratch made. I met the chef/owner, Marcy when I walked in. Very pleasant to chat with. Her restaurant is in a great location. The guacamole is a 5.0/5.0. Chips are 4.5/5.0. Red sauce was meh. Pico and green sauce are good. The el pastor tacos were fire. 5.0/5.0. Loaded with pork and pineapple. Huge fan. The quesadilla was loaded with chicken and veggies. 4.5/5.0. The salmon mango salad was very good. Rice and beans good. Salmon had good seasoning and was cooked proper. 4.0/5.0. The churro was unreal; she pipes like a vanilla creme into the churro and it cooked perfectly. Tastiest i've ever had. Support local & small businesses. We will definitely be back!

Fresh and tasty. This is a small cute, carefully cared for gem. They make basically everything fresh and have many options that you just don't see at typical Mexican places. The guacamole is some of the best I have ever had and their fresh pico is simple perfection. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and are clearly proud of their food.

Oh how I miss food from Puebla. The trio of tacos were delicious. My daughter got the nachos which comes with chicken, refried beans, queso fresco, crema and jalapeños. Very filling. Marcy recommended the Agua de Jamaica, which is tart and sweet and refreshing. There are not many tables inside but grab one if you see one. Marcy is very pleasant and nice to talk with. Everything is priced right but if you're curious, download their app. I'll be back for the chilaquiles! And horchata!

I opted for the online order and it was ready just when it was promised. The entire order was packaged perfectly, and there were no issues when I opened it I ordered the steak quesadilla with onions and it was very good. It had a slight kick, but as someone who doesn't tolerate spiciness very well, it was just enough for me. I didn't know what to expect from the brussels sprouts but they were sweet and not spicy at all. A great side entree! Overall, a great visit to Tacoria. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back!"

Over the last several years, Morristown has seen an influx of several new casual and not-so-casual…read moreMexican and TexMex restaurants.. seemingly replacing the numerous frozen yogurt outlets that were the subject of an earlier culinary trend. Tacoria, which was one of the earliest participants in this recent trend, offers tasty, made-to-order TexMex cuisine in a trendy, fast-casual cafeteria-style ambiance. The cozy dining area, which is open to South Street when the weather is cooperative, only offers about a dozen tables for two or four diners, so it may be difficult to get seating during peak times. On several visits, we've had to stand around awkwardly holding our food while waiting for other diners to finish their meals and relinquish their table for us. After placing your order at the counter from the menu that allows you to build-your-own burritos, bowls, street tacos, salads, or nachos -- all of which is cooked to order -- grab a seat at one of the tables in the dining area and wait for your pager to buzz and let you know your meal is ready to be picked up. The service is very good with counterstaff that's very knowledgeable about the menu and terrific at making whatever accommodations a diner may require (vegetarian, lactose free, etc.). I'm a fan of the Burrito - Al Pastor ($12.50), comprised of ground marinated pork served with black beans, seasoned rice, and salsa in a grilled flour tortilla.. but I was surprised that my entree did not come with even a small portion of complimentary tortilla chips. My dining companion enjoyed her salad topped with marinated grilled chicken ($11), sliced avocado, black beans, pico de gallo, and cheese on a bed of romaine lettuce and topped with a pineapple lime dressing. There's a handful of complimentary homemade hot sauces - which range from mild verde to spicy habenero -- as well as several varieties of Cholula and Tabasco available (and small 'to go' containers if you're planning to dine elsewhere) if you want to kick things up a notch - and a Coca-Cola fountain machine offering unlimited refills of the basic Coca-Cola options (Coke, Diet Coke, etc.) if you've overdone it with the complimentary hot sauces. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Tacoria doesn't have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking on South Street. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, the Morristown Parking Authority DeHart Street garage (@ 13 Dehart Street) or lot (@ 12 Wilmot Street) are a short walk to Tacoria.

I instantly realized how the interior looks identical to Los Tacos No. 1. The Coca-Cola insignia is displayed to the left and right of the restaurant name. The menu is painted on a large wall. Even the employees wear white uniforms and white chef hats. Originally, I was confined this restaurant was going to be a cheap knock-off. Ordering is done through an in-store kiosk. Although I was skeptical using the computer screen, I found it easy to navigate and was able to fulfill my lunch order without requesting any assistance. The meal took a few minutes to arrive, but that was because the servers were freshly making it on the spot. I started to get a good feeling as I witnessed the chefs in action. As soon as I took my first bite, I realized I was mistaken about my initial impression. All tacos are prepared with fresh ingredients with a smoky flavor. The shells are soft and doughy. Juices from the protein slightly compromised the appearance, but the taste is fantastic! There is a salsa bar offering complimentary toppings for your tacos. Limes, pickled onions, and three flavors of salsa are an option. The seating is kind of tight, but it's meant to be eaten in a fast paced atmosphere. Overall, I didn't think I was going to have a great experience, but this location surpassed my expectations by a long shot. I've been here a couple months ago, and it's wild to see how much it has grown in popularity. The last few times we have visited, it has been packed or overflowing with customers. A good sign, if you ask me! The tacos are uniquely curated and not your typical selection. I had a Smashburger taco, because I love ground beef, and also a delicious shrimp taco. Any one you get, it is tasty, fresh, prepared right in front of your eyes, and my best of all- so colorful! There is a salsa/sauce/lime bar, which is constantly refilled and has plenty of to-go cups and boxes. I cannot recommend the Agua de Horchata drink enough. When I see Horchata on a menu, I automatically gravitate towards it. Here, the drink is not too thick or overwhelming in flavor. It is nicely balanced with the cinnamon and milky tastes. If you get the 16 oz, the drink comes in a cute square shaped cup. Love this taco joint and coming by every so often to see what is new on the menu and how well they are doing. There is plenty of parking in the plaza lot. If you are in the area, I highly recommend. Definitely worth a shot!
