Went to order barbacoa tacos the menu doesn't say anything about them having cheese so I brought it to their attention and was told that I was in the wrong that they have always come with cheese. They gave me a 5% discount on my second order. Never going back ever again they tried fighting with me over the fact that their menu is incorrect. Supposedly, "every taco place makes tacos with cheese." Not true at all tacos have cilantro and onion on it that's it. Can't believe I had to pay for their mistake. This is a welcome edition to the local ethnic dining cuisine! Marcy's enchiladas are fantastic- either green or red sauce, tacos are really good, Aztec soup was great, burrito was good as well. I think by looking at these reviews you can already tell Marcy's kitchen is a great place!! Fast, friendly service, homemade food, the hype is real! At first I wondered how long this restaurant would last in this location and it's amazing to see how well they are doing! Many other businesses don't last but our community has embraced this wonderful place. I have been coming every other day to get the quesadillas, homemade guac and the great red salsa. I'm a vegatarian but the rest of my family has tried almost everything on the menu and love it! It's a shame to see people like "michael g" below me taking time out of the day to be jealous and talk down a restaurant everyone else loves, to be "edgy" but what can you do. He writes: "Crazy hour long waits for food orders is ridiculous. As a chef myself I can't comprehend how it could take that long to make and assemble tacos and basic Mexican dishes" Have to feel bad for people like this but then you check out what they review and see they log on yelp to review gas stations.... This is a cute small business. We got a veggie tostada, veggie tacos, and rice & beans. I was disappointed with the rice & beans (they weren't flavorful), but everything else was pretty good. The corn tortillas were yummy -- I think the veggies in the tacos should've been cooked a little more. The staff were super friendly. This is more of a takeout place, but there is one small table where we ate inside. Sadly, they'd run out of the homemade guac when we went, so I think I'll have to go back to try it! read more

The food here is so good. Small mom and pop place with just a couple of tables inside to eat but they do a high volume of takeout. The food was fresh, hot, and plentiful. The place inside is spotless. The prices are reasonable. Only complaint is that they sold out of their horchata too fast and I missed it! We will be regulars here moving forward. read more

Took a few tries but I finally figured out what I like here. This place makes amazing amazing tortas. I challenge anyone to find a better sandwich anywhere near by. I especially liked the Carne enchilada tortas but the carnitas is also good. It's just a perfect combo of meat cheese guac sour cream and beans. I especially like the cheese which is not your average shredded cheddar.. Make sure you get their habanero salsa to make it spicy. I've had quesadillas and chilequiles as well and while good the only thing I wish is that they were spicier, but that's where the salsa comes in. Marcy is nice and the food is fast hot and fresh. Best of all is the reasonable prices and they take credit card. Parking is also easy and they have plenty of soft drink selections. We have driven past Marcy's Kitchen for years and always said we should try it. We finally did today and I can't believe we waited this long! Marcy is so friendly and a gracious host and her food is nothing short of amazing. She even has a recipe for mole that has been passed down a few generations, I didn't ask how many I just let my taste buds talk to me and all it said was yum. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. We stopped in at "Marcy's Kitchen" today @4:00 pm which also happened to be Cinco de Mayo. So as expected they were crazy busy and it soon became apparent to us why, the food was excellent, very fresh tasting with generous portions. It seems as though most of their business is take out as there are only a couple tables and some counter seating. We ordered guacamole and chips (both homemade), chicken quesadilla (came with typical sour cream, guacamole and pica de gallo) and chicken Al la Mexicana (Chicken, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, rice and black beans and flour tortillas).
