Always love a new Tacoria location opening up in the area - this time, it's Summit main street! The ordering process was very smooth and the food came out very promptly. I love the guava drink and the habanero sauce and never forget to order Mexican street corn! The decor for this location is very on brand with the other locations, but I'm a huge fan of the LED sign - it really lights the place up. :) Will definitely frequent this location more when I'm in the area!

    Great graphics!

Delicious food as always. This Tacoria in Summit is one of the nicest I've visited. Beautiful decor complete with special Valentine's Day decorations. The welcoming staff made great recommendations... I especially liked the Carne Asada Burrito box. Muy Bien, Tacoria!

I've had the pleasure of visiting several different Tacoria's over the last few months and I always love coming back. Everything is extremely tasty and portion sizing will fill you up. I recommend checking out Tacoria in the future if you want a quick Mexican bite.

We really enjoyed our meal at Tacoria Mexican in Summit. We skipped Tacos and went for the Box and Salad options. The best part of our meals were the proteins. We loved the Steak - Carne Asada and the Chicken - Pollo Asado. Both were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Much better flavor than the other "chain" restaurants in NJ. The service was fast for a meal that seemed cooked to order. Also the restaurant is very cute. Not too big but big enough for a casual meal.

If you check in through Yelp you can get a small bottle of sake with your meal. I tried to redeem but unfortunately could not because the manager wasn't in the restaurant and the waiter informed me she legally couldn't serve alcohol. So, if you're looking to have a cocktail I would suggest calling beforehand to make sure the manager is there to serve it. I ordered the crispy calamari and scallion pancakes for appetizers. Then ordered 2 tacos (fried pork and salmon) and seafood Mi Xian with glass noodles. The pancakes were delicious. The calamari was just okay. The star of the show was the seafood Mi Xian; I could have sipped on the broth alone and been more than satisfied! I had one bite of the salmon taco and it was good. I was expecting the tacos to be bigger and was surprised that only one comes per order but my husband said he was full after having most of both tacos so I guess 1 is actually enough.

Generally I'm in there buying scratch tickets and vapes for my wife. Man do we sound like trash. Which we're not. I mean vapes are gross. I get that. She's tried to quit. It's not easy. It's an addiction. And I'm buying scratch tickets because I'm thinking if I'm going to 7-11 to get vapes, which I hate, what's in it for me? So I buy a scratch ticket. That's always fun. And the guys will always wish you good luck when you buy it. And not in a perfunctory way. Like they really mean it. Now I don't win. Nobody wins. Scratch tickets are for suckers. That isn't their fault. One time I won $3. That was a good day. Oh and they have a wide variety of snacks. And beverages. If you've never been in one. I'm sure some people have not. Next time I go I will take more pictures. They also have hot food. I don't see myself eating hot food from 7-11. Even if I'm buying scratch tickets and vapes. Oh, and fireworks! Lots of fireworks which is probably seasonal. Sometimes when I go in to buy vapes the guy will pretend I look too young to buy them. I am in my fifties! I don't look too young! Oh how we laugh. Ignore those old reviews. This 7-11 is terrific.

For a BYOB, our bill came to just under $160 for two entrées, one appetizer, and a dozen oysters. The oysters were $42/dozen, my scallop crab corn salsa special was $47, and the swordfish was $39 -- all of which felt more like fine dining NYC prices than suburban BYOB rates. What really impacted our night, though, was how rushed we felt. From start to finish, our dinner lasted just about an hour. Plates were cleared quickly, the next course arrived almost immediately, and it didn't feel like there was room to linger or enjoy a slower-paced evening together. This was surprising because the restaurant wasn't even full. We left feeling like we had paid for a premium, leisurely dining experience but instead got an expensive, hurried meal. Unfortunately, it just didn't deliver the atmosphere or value we were hoping for.
