Have your wedding here - you won't regret it Where to begin...I'll start with the most amazing venue coordinator you could ask for - Hayley. From the first meeting my Husband and I had with Hayley about booking Pinecrest for our wedding we knew we were in the best hands. Hayley walked us through every detail and we quickly found out just how much she is willing, and delighted, to do to make our wedding special. This care followed through all the way up until the day of the wedding! Hayley was incredibly communicative throughout the planning process, and she set up AND took down all of our decor. We truly did not have to lift a finger and she made the reception look absolutely fabulous. The food...our guests are still talking about how amazing dinner was. Mark and the kitchen staff did a fabulous job with all of the food for our wedding. We thought that our tasting when we selected our meals was good? It was somehow BETTER the night of our wedding. I don't know how they did it, but the mashed potatoes and the white fish - I still dream about it. We had some dietary restrictions for a few guests - gluten-free & Vegan, and Mark and his team happily worked with us to provide gluten-free and vegan versions of the dishes we selected so our guests got the same delicious meal! The bar? Equally as fabulous. We threw out the idea of adding a signature drink and Hayley and Mark were ON it. We gave them a recipe we enjoyed of a French 75 and they were more than happy to include it. The bar was packed with pretty much everything you could ask for, and the bartenders were so fun and kind. We truly had the best time with them. I've been to Pinecrest before so I already knew it was a beautiful course, but our photographs turned out even better than I had hoped. It was a beautiful day surrounded by beautiful scenery and the most amazing people. We used all local vendors - venue, DJ, Photographer, and they turned out to all know each other so of course they worked FABULOUSLY together. I would HIGHLY recommend this amazing team. Criminally overpriced for what you get. The course itself has potential, but it's run terribly…read more Pace of play is consistently around five hours+. The final straw was getting rained out after only two holes. Instead of issuing a standard rain check, they prorated it by two holes. I've never experienced a course being that cheap. This could be a nice course, but horrible management and policies make it hard to recommend. Won't be coming back.

The indoor food first: we got the fried cod and a couple of drinks. I wish I'd taken pictures but the place was crowded and loud so it was a little much to try to relax and hear the music much less have a conversation so when the food came, we ate! The cod was thickly battered but cooked nicely with plenty of tender fish inside so the batter didn't take over. Almost, but not. We got a generously sized baked potato and a little coleslaw. I avoided the coleslaw, but the potato was good and the hot food was delivered hot, which was a refreshing change from some places. Although crowded the service was good. It was a little slow getting our checks but everyone was leaving around the same time so that's understandable. My friend had a nice chat getting to know the waitress at the end. My friend is definitely a get to know you kinda person, but that's beside the point, except I'm sure the waitress will remember us next time we go so that's nice. The music. It was supposed to be an acoustic night but definitely was hard to hear over the conversations which were loud. He did do a few riffs on an electric guitar and I think some kind of keyboard, no doubt so we could hear something, but the room and crowd was not made to be able to hear much. In the better weather these events are louder outside and crowded with 3 food truck choices usually. I look forward to going to those again. I wish I could review the golf course but I've yet to play it. I look forward to trying 9 holes soon. It has three 9 hole courses, regulation length. love to try it out. From the clubhouse it looks beautiful and lots of rolling hills so I'll have to give it a spin this summer too.

Tony, at opening tee, really gave us all the information we needed on the course. He's a good man. Now the course. It's in absolute horrible condition. There are weeds growing on some of the tee boxes, most of the bunkers, and fairways. We played in the morning and some of the greens look like they haven't been cared for a in a while. On days like yesterday, they should be questioning why water stations are only at 3 and 16? 2 stars may be harsh and exacerbated by a wet course from the early morning rain and 90°+ weather. But no matter how you slice it, the course is in very poor condition. Won't be coming back for a while.
