    Carnitas taco with extra salsa
    Alexis G.

I got a carnitas taco and my fiancé got a Al pastor taco just to try this place out, total came out to 5$. We both got everything on the taco / salsa verde. I thought the meat was really good for both, I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. It's not the best taco I've ever had but it definitely isn't the worst. I did have to ask for extra salsa on the side because they barely put any to begin with, it also had a nice kick to it. The Al pastor kind of tasted like birria to me, my fiancé said it was too salty tho. The place is clean and the service was fast, and friendly. There's also super chargers which is why we tried this place to begin with.

I've got to say came here with a few co workers. Randomly since we were waiting in the parking lot and I have to say I'm so glad we decided to come here. The the place is really busy on Tuesday tucked in a little food mall. The staff was really friendly and the food came quick. On a Tuesday you can't go wrong with dollar tacos. Over all the fish was crispy the fish tacos were on point. Overall great place and great feel for Tuesday. If you come during the week I heard the food is good but Tuesday is a must try!

Price is great . - love the fish tacos. It's $3 each and delicious every bite. They give you free sides like onions, radish, jalapenos. I also go there for beef soup . I like the staff, nice and friendly . Clean restaurant. Parking can be a challenge lunch time but there are parking available.

Carne asada burrito, al pastor taco + drink. $20.11

Chain restaurant with good portions and friendly service. Food is delicious, meat is tender. Prices are a bit inflated but it's tasty and I keep coming back. Ambiance is relaxed, bare bones with white walls, tables/chairs & corridos/regional Mexican music playing.

This place is so close to my work so I swung by for lunch. They were really busy but the line moved pretty fast! I had a few (pretty dumb--like which meat is carne asada...) questions as a non-Spanish speaker, but the cashier answered them quickly and politely. I ordered an Asada burrito for $10. It was very reasonably priced for the size, and was delicious! I asked for the sauce on the side, but I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication because she had put on the receipt that I asked for no sauce. When I picked up my food, which was really fast (I waited maybe 4 mins), I was told a little harshly that I did not ask for sauce upon requesting it, but he gave it to me anyway. I didn't think much of it though, as I feel like it was most likely just a culture difference. The store was pretty small for how busy it was. I would have liked to eat there, but there were no open tables so I just took it back to my workplace to eat. When I got there at around 12:05pm, there were 2 parties ahead of me. When I left at 12:15, the line was nearly out the door. Overall, it was fast, delicious, and reasonably priced. Will be back!

If you go at lunch, expect to wait 15-20 minutes for your order. They have a parking lot, but as there are also other businesses it can get crowded. We went to the coffee shop next door while we waited for our food. I didn't realize the Torta Barbacoa ($8.15) was a sandwich! It included marinated shredded beef, mashed beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado, & mayo. It was good if you are in the mood for a sandwich. I really enjoyed the meat, but next time I would get a burrito because the bread got soggy too quickly and the burrito my coworkers got looked delish. The fish in the fish ceviche tostada ($4.99) was chopped a lot dinner than I'm used to, and it was a little mushy. It had good flavor, and included two large chips on the side & avocado on top. The guacamole ($2.49) was very small.

Solid taco spot near downtown. I got the Al pastor and Barbacoa tacos. I recommend the Al pastor tacos but personally was only okay with the barbacoa one. Horchata was A1 for me though. The area is a lil off the Main Street to find but this is a solid spot for the area. I wasn't a huge fan that the side bar was behind the counter but I understand when people abuse the side bar for condiments. Seems mainly like working people take this for a quick lunch. I Parking: free parking lot but gets full during lunch Seating: indoor table Wifi: no Payment: accepts card and cash Vibe: to go taco spot Dress code: casual

taco tuesday - fish tacos for 1 dollar. in this economy?! free escabeches (pickled veggies) and grilled peppers

tried the steak picado plate today. it was a super delicious meal and super wholesome. the flavor surpassed my expectations, you could really tell they put thought into this dish; i could recognize fresh oregano leaves and bay leaves, paired with caramelized onions, tomatoes, and various types of peppers. the steak itself was tender and fresh tasting. they give you free corn/flour tortillas with this dish so you can make little tacos with the rice and beans, or just use the tortillas to soak up the sauce on the plate!

Delicious! Love this place. Here for work and have eaten here 2 of the 4 days so far. Great specials, great prices, great service and great food.

For us, that's El Ranchito in Huntington Park. It's a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant that has had the community on its back for the last 6 decades. They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. My pops has worked in the area for longer than I've been alive, so El Ranchito has seen every iteration of me, and of my family. For that, I am grateful. I'll be coming here until the wheels fall off. EL RANCHITO ALL STARS!!! IG @johnny.novo Tiktok @jnov__ Substack @johnnynovo

We walked in and it was a few minutes to get recognized by the hostess. Not a big deal but that bled over into the waitstaff. We were sat and ignored for quite a bit. We waited and we got chips and salsa and someone came for drink orders. The salsa was some of the best I've had. Drinks came back pretty fast but they were average. Something was off about them. We ordered the food and we got it fast! I was surprised how quick it came! It was good Mexican food. Not great but good. All in all, it was a good place for a sit down dinner with drinks.

Why We Keep Coming Back We've tried a lot of taco stands,…read morebut we keep coming back to this one because of the tortillas. Their yellow corn tortillas are incredibly flavorful and make the quesadillas stand out from the competition. The Food We usually order the adobo quesadillas with cheese, cilantro, onions, salsa, and avocado. They don't have the largest selection of meats, but the adobo is excellent. The quesadillas are a good size and always taste fresh. Fresh Tortillas Made to Order The process is simple. You place your order, then move down the line where fresh tortillas are prepared with cheese, followed by your choice of meat and toppings. It's fun watching everything come together right in front of you. Ordering and Payment The ordering system is straightforward and efficient. After your food is assembled, you pay at the register. They accept cash and Zelle, which makes payment easy. Extras and Toppings They offer a selection of salsas along with grilled onions and grilled jalapeños that you can grab with your order. These little extras add a lot of flavor. Parking and Convenience Parking has never been an issue for us. We usually find meter parking right in front, and many customers seem to grab their food and go. It's a quick and convenient stop. Ambiance This is more of a grab and go spot than a place to sit and hang out. The atmosphere is casual and busy, with people lining up for fresh food and taking their orders to go. What it lacks in seating or extras, it makes up for with the smell of fresh tortillas cooking and the lively taco stand experience. Customer Service Customer service is simple and efficient. The staff keeps the line moving and gets orders out quickly.
