If you're looking for an overrated touristy spot, this is it. Salmon was ok. No fresh seafood and Walmart cut of meat for the steak. Was told the cooks "struggled with medium rare". Waited awhile for food considering half the tables were empty. Watched a few people get up and leave after waiting to order. Everything was sticky and dirty.

Margaritaville was such a great experience! The ambiance was beautiful, and I sat at the bar where the bartender recommended the Ruby Red Renegade, and it did not disappoint. It was so refreshing! For my meal, I ordered the jerk salmon, and you could definitely tell there was someone with Caribbean roots in the kitchen because the flavors were incredible and the salmon was cooked perfectly. They also had live music, which made the atmosphere even better. The customer service was on point from start to finish. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would definitely return!

When we got our food it was hot I got the chicken sandwich my mom got the grilled fish tacos. Our food was crispy and crunchy. Our server was so nice. All the seating area was surrounded by water(the Destin harbor). There are a lot of boats it is kind of like a boat show.

Had such a great time here. Taylor was our bartender, she was really good. We did the ole smoky Tennessee moonshine tasting. Ambiance was great. Weather felt good and drinks was good!!

Bar area.

Waitress was great and overworked. She had to do the jobs of other people. Bar tender when we first got there didn't even come up to us and ask what we wanted. He yelled from across the bar and asked what we wanted. Proceeded to tell me they don't have expresso martinis. (It's on the menu) two mixed drinks at the bar while we waited for our table $34. Once we got to our table our waitress showed up and we were hopeful. She had a great personality and you could tell she was busting her butt. Took our drink order and the drinks never showed up. Not until the food showed up. The food was horrible overcooked and prepared wrong. Two of the people got sick. Daughter went to the bathroom and a waitress was in there crying. And my assumption is she's overworked. I wish I could give that waitress 5 stars.

We were seated at a sticky table by window that hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Not to mention the ceiling fan that is flapping around and ready to come off the ceiling. We ordered drinks that were watered down to the point I can barely taste any of the margarita flavor. She got a banana drink that wasn't any better. I got the jambalaya. It just wasn't good. The rice clearly wasn't even close to being freshly made. The chicken and shrimp were rubbery. She got a burger that wasn't much better. I had the pleasure of paying $79.00 for this. The service was great and on point. But wait just when I think they got the last of my money. They charged me $20.00 to park in their parking lot as you pull out! With tip it was $120.00. Never again ! Jimmy would be disappointed! Just say no!

Service was good for a busy Friday night. Food was bland and had sat under warmers too long. The views were nice and the restaurant was open air and breezy. No music to be hard and overall was not a "fun" environment.

I didn't go in with high expectations, but unfortunately, it still fell short. The service was good, no complaints there. However, the food was a letdown. We kept it simple with burgers, a crispy chicken sandwich, and fries. The burgers were dry and lacked seasoning, and while the chicken sandwich actually had good flavor, the batter was soggy, not crispy at all. For a place that's known for kicking back with a good drink in hand, it was disappointing that they were out of almost every beer on draft, including their own Landshark Lager. I get that this is more of a novelty or tourist spot, but even with adjusted expectations, it still missed the mark.

It was off peak season, so there wasn't a crowd. It was well decorated with Christmas stuff. So beautiful. Forgot to take pictures of the appetizers. But had the mixed platter, which was really good. Service was 10:10.

Our party of 15 had a great time at Margaritaville. Interestingly, we arrived at 6:30 and were seated immediately. Frankly, there were very few patrons there at dinner hour. The food and drinks were all good. The server was a bit sarcastic, which knocked the review down one star. I enjoyed my drinks. The burger was very tasty and a lot of food. The ambiance is very fun. We had a seat right next to the windows, which opened to the beach. While we didn't play, they have several games of bags laid out for anyone to use.

We came here and the wonton appetizer was amazing. We had a burger, a patty melt, and I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Our waitress was attentive, and checked on us in a reasonable amount of time. She was good with meeting our needs and bringing back items requested. The atmosphere is welcoming, the music they play is amazing and inclusive to all and the people were are all welcoming. First off, food came out piping hot, and they have these unique fries and they were amazing. This spot definitely exceeded my expectations and I will gladly return on our next visit to Destin.

The space has a cool indoor/outdoor setup, and the night we went they had live music, which made the whole place feel really lively. We sat inside but could still enjoy the music while catching some basketball games. The menu leans Mediterranean and everything looked incredible. We started with the tzatziki, shrimp wonton rolls, and potstickers. All three were great, but the shrimp wonton rolls were my favorite. For my main, I ordered the grilled shrimp pita (loaded with shrimp) with fries--definitely hit the spot. Around the table we also had burgers, a Mediterranean bowl, and pork belly tacos, and everyone loved their meals. We were so full we didn't even make it to dessert. Overall, great vibe, great food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out--just plan on taking an Uber or Lyft since parking is limited.

The location and atmosphere are fantastic, but the kitchen simply didn't deliver. The Fried Green Tomatoes lacked the crisp texture you'd expect from such a classic appetizer. My daughter's 8 oz. filet had virtually no seasoning and tasted surprisingly bland, especially considering the price. I ordered the Wedge Salad with fried chicken, and the chicken suffered from the exact same issue--it was nothing more than fried protein with absolutely no flavor. The biggest letdown, however, was the salad dressing. At this price point, I expect a restaurant to serve a fresh, house-made dressing. Instead, it tasted like something poured straight from a jar. A great wedge salad deserves a dressing that complements it, not one that feels like an afterthought. Harry T's certainly has the views and the location, but great scenery can't make up for under-seasoned food and shortcuts in the kitchen. There are too many excellent restaurants in Destin to settle for an average meal. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're hoping for food that matches the price tag.

We visited The Local Market because we kept hearing they had "the best Cuban in Destin." After…read moreeating there, I honestly do not understand the hype at all. First off, this is not a real Cuban sandwich. The bread was completely wrong. Real Cuban bread, especially if you've ever had one from Ybor City in Tampa, has a very specific texture and press. I even explained before ordering that I only wanted the outside pressed and toasted, while the inside stays cool. That's how an authentic Cuban is made. Instead, they brought out a sandwich that was heated completely through. The meat, cheese, everything inside was hot. It completely ruined the sandwich. When I politely asked about it, the employee seemed irritated and had an attitude about remaking it. They eventually brought another one out, but honestly it still was not good. The bread tasted wrong and the sandwich itself just wasn't enjoyable. It got worse from there. My grandson ordered chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were bad, and the fries tasted like old grease that should have been changed hours earlier. My wife ordered a shredded chicken and cheese sandwich that honestly smelled questionable, like the chicken may have been turning. The final straw was the fruit cup having visible mold growing in it. At that point we lost our appetite and decided to leave. Very disappointing experience overall. Poor food quality, bad execution, and not worth the money. We will not be returning.

It looked like a nice, relaxing, elevated restaurant we could relax at after a day of excursions. It really wasn't that. After spending most of our days eating at the themed surf restaurants that decorate with shark heads, surfboards and tiki lights. We had hoped this would be a change, it's really not. It may not be grossly decorated with those tiki-style items, but most certainly is that same type of restaurant. It's not elegant, it's not elevated and its most certainly, not relaxing. The food was very good, the service from our waitress, Savannah was mediocre. She seemed bored or maybe having a bad night and was doing her best to cover it with a smile. We ate up at the skybar which does have a very lovely view. The high-top table and chairs are uncomfortable. My wife and I had to come off the chairs to stand next to the table for a few moments because the chairs were so uncomfortable. As far as their food goes, I had the shrimp tacos. They were made with very fresh tasting ingredients and the shrimp wasdelicious. At least the 2 pieces per taco they came with. Most of what was in the taco was just the filling. $22.00 for two tacos I expected more shrimp. My wife's Grouper Moreno and the conch fritter appetizer were both delicious. Dessert was the salted caramel cheesecake which was good, but ridiculously sweet (as you'd expect it to be) Overall, the food was very good though the tacos could have included more shrimp then they did. The service was just okay. The restaurant itself is nice, but not the quiet relaxing place it looks like on their website. It's just another surf themed style restaurant, without all the gaudy decorations.
