Felt the absolute need to update this 24 hours later. I forgot to mention below that my sister, niece, and nephew all have Celiac disease and we called beforehand to ask questions about their gluten options and we were ASSURED that the kitchen staff take food allergies VERY seriously. The sweet potato waffle fries and regular fries were so overcooked you couldn't even eat them. The shrimp in the seafood boil wasn't deveined and there was still shit in the shrimp. The potatoes in the boil were undercooked and the boil itself was under seasoned and bland. They tried charging me for 2 mocktails when I only had 1. My sisters salad was wrong and missing the requested shredded cheese. The server and managing intern were both very unpleasant to deal with. Absolutely terrible customer service. If you have a party larger than 12, don't expect any flexibility or courtesy. We asked if we could sit at a nearby table with the rest of our family and were given permission by one manager. Minutes later, another manager, Trend, came over with a rude attitude and told us we couldn't sit there if we weren't ordering food. Assuming instead of asking if we have been attended by our waitress. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication between management. We did exactly what we were told, only to be confronted afterward as if we had done something wrong. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager spoke to us in a disrespectful and confrontational manner that made our entire family feel unwelcome. While this was happening, the manager appeared to be more focused on flirting with our server than resolving the situation professionally. It seemed that is why he didn't want that table sat to give her special treatment. It certainly didn't give the impression that customer service was the priority. I've attached a photo from our visit. To top it all off, the food wasn't very good, and neither were the drinks. For the prices, we expected much better quality. If you're looking for a place that can actually accommodate large groups and offers better food, drinks, and customer service, you're better off going to The Back Porch instead. For my meal, I ordered the jerk salmon, and you could definitely tell there was someone with Caribbean roots in the kitchen because the flavors were incredible and the salmon was cooked perfectly. She was from Bulgaria and had an accent, but she was very easy to understand. She was attentive, kind, and constantly checking on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. She kept our drinks full, brought anything we asked for promptly, and truly provided outstanding service. It was upsetting to see some people treating her poorly and blaming mistakes on the fact that she has an accent. She worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, especially someone who is clearly putting so much effort into taking care of their customers. On a recent vacation we stopped in the HarborWalk Village and decided to eat lunch at Jimmy Buffet's signature restaurant. The ambiance of these things cannot be understated. You're literally transported to Key West and the vibe is chill. We were quickly greeted and our server was friendly and suggested I try the Jambalaya, which I did. However, I asked if the meal could be spicy and she said "they won't deviate from the recipe". Not her fault, but when it comes adding spice that should be easy to do. Anyways, the drinks were good, and the meals were all great. The only downside (thus the four star) is that the restaurant got slammed as were at the end of our meal and then service was non-existent. Service was HORRIBLE!!! When we first came in we were standing waiting to get seated for almost 15 mins while some people who just got there got serviced right away. After we were helped we had a wait time of 30 mins and that's okay but it was the fact that when we finally got seated we had to wait another 30 mins for our server, Jennifer. She had horrible service even taking an hour to bring us food and take our orders. She was very rude to us but the other tables you could hear her being very nice, she seemed like she did not want to speak with us let alone serve us. She wasn't even staying to talk with us like a regular server just passing by and leaving like regular. There was a time where we also wanted to go boxes and to go cups and she never offered it to us she was just ready for us to go.
