The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's an easy walk to Broadway, making it convenient to enjoy the restaurants, live music, and everything downtown Nashville has to offer. Unfortunately, the hotel itself didn't quite live up to our expectations. After a long day of driving, we were looking forward to relaxing, but our room didn't feel as clean as it should have. We found what appeared to be dog hair on the sheets, the pillows looked dingy and could definitely use replacing or a thorough wash, and the sofa had several noticeable stains. It just wasn't the level of cleanliness we expected. The staff experience was mixed. Samantha at check-in was friendly and welcoming. Check-out, however, felt rushed and impersonal. We were also surprised that there was no assistance available with luggage, so if you're traveling with heavy bags, plan on handling them yourself. Overall, the location is excellent, but the cleanliness and consistency of the service need improvement to match the price and reputation of the property. read more

We booked our stay at Margaritaville Hotel Nashville months in advance through a third-party platform and paid in full, specifically choosing this hotel for a special birthday trip. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were later informed that the property could not honor the booking. Based on our experience, it appears that third-party reservations may not be treated with the same level of reliability, which is incredibly frustrating as a guest. This resulted in a stressful and time-consuming relocation process, with multiple conflicting updates and uncertainty leading up to our trip. For a hotel of this level, I would expect confirmed reservations--regardless of how they were booked--to be honored. At the very least, clearer communication and better coordination should be in place. Unfortunately, this situation significantly impacted what was meant to be a special celebration. read more

Check in was very easy and simple, i had reserved thru booking.com so it was very quick. Front desk was kind & attentive every time we needed to come up. There was a couple of small reasons why 5stars weren't given; for example, the restroom door was a slide door & didn't shut completely & it'd softly open by itself. 2, the shower had NO door so the water would splash everywhere, annoying. 3, it's an additional charge to your room if you need a microwave which is crazy in my opinion. We stayed at the Margaritaville Hotel last minute when our flight out of Nashville got cancelled. We booked about an hour before arriving at a reasonable price of $150 for the night. Having known the Margaritaville in NYC, my expectations were not high coming here but we just needed a clean place to sleep for the night. I have to say that my experience equally exceeded my expectations. For the first part of our trip, we had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Broadway, and it was kind of a dump. Margaritaville Nashville has the vibe and service of a more upscale hotel for a cheap price. Yes, it's not on Broadway and requires a bit of a walk but you shouldn't let that deter you. The lobby is large and filled with all themed decor. Check in was smooth. I like that your room key is given to you as a bracelet you tap on your door instead of a card. Our room location wasn't the greatest but what can you expect booking last minute? Our room was on the 4th floor, and was the only room in the hallway next to the restaurant and bar on that floor (room 413), so we could hear all of the elevator and restaurant traffic. Luckily the restaurant closed by 10pm or so. The room itself was spacious, had a great view of the city and had a large bathroom filled with some amenities such as shampoo and make up wipes. There's also a desk, some chairs and an end table you can hang out in without having to sit on the bed the whole time. The decor was warm and inviting. The room was also clean with many towels provided. After staying here one night, I wish we had stayed here for the entire trip. It was that good. Upon check in, you receive some vouchers for free margaritas downstairs at their JWB Grill restaurant. You also receive some other vouchers for activities around town. The room overall was quiet (once the elevator and restaurant traffic died down) and we did not hear people in adjoining rooms. We had a good nights sleep here. We checked out the 4th floor pool before it closed for the night. What a spectacular view of the city from the pool! The pool is pretty large with ample seating, some of it in the pool itself. We tried the JWB Grill for a late dinner. There was live music which was great. The food was good but as we sat at the bar, service could have been better. There's a Starbucks on site in the lobby, and we had a quick breakfast there in the morning. Overall, I loved staying here and wish we had considered this hotel for the entire trip. Nice hotel overall with a 5-10 minute walk to Broadway. Clean room with a good atmosphere. Water and cups are provided in the lobby daily. The pool was very overcrowded and filthy. The first day we couldn't even get into the pool because it was so crowded and the second day they had to drain the pool and refill it because it was so dirty. Beware of the resort fees that this hotel charges because it has a pool. We were told I would receive a credit for the resort fees because of the pool shutdown, but they couldn't give me a receipt as they were going to send it to my email. Well that email was never sent and they denied my credit card dispute. I will not return as they did not keep their word and were not upfront with their hidden fees. There are way too many good options in the area with better options for the money. read more

I was a guest of a timeshare owner and upon arrival the check in process went smooth. We were offered a margarita on the rocks but it was so sweet and for a place like Margaritaville I did expect a little stronger drink or a variety. This is nestling in Club Wyndham which is about a 10 minute walk to Broadway. The place is nice and clean and I like that. The sheets smelled like hospital laundered so heavily bleached but not like some of the higher end resorts where you don't have that type of smell. Also I'm a nurse and didn't like to be reminded of work. They didn't have a sauna or a hot tub for use which ya definitely need after days/nights of drinking on the strip and/or just to warm up. The bathroom only had a half glass partition so I never got really warmed up. Overall we paid less than $150 a night under the owners points and had a suite type of experience with full kitchenette. I ordered groceries to the hotel and able to have snacks throughout if I wanted. I don't think I'd stay here for a regular room. Definitely would go closer to the strip so I wouldn't have to walk so far or take uber. read more

I want everyone to know I am not writing this review because of a discount but because of my overall experience at this so called '4 star hotel'. You expect better at the 4.5 star hotel when you pay so much. They kept talking rude over phone, hot water needed to be fixed, keys did not work the first time and the second time. Also, big thing - we checked in and were told we have a $25 discount on parking per day which was not given to us in the end and we were charged the regular rate. We were told this multiple times and neither the parking company nor the front desk honored it and they were extremely rude and disrespectful when asked. The customer service at the bar is not good either, rude people, they all need training for customer service ! Extremely dissatisfied and I am going to write the same review everywhere I can and make sure people are aware of their scam. read more

Had an amazing stay here last week! I was on a business trip but decided to stay here. Valet was easy to use, always on top of it, never had to wait for long for it. Check in was smooth and love the wrist band for a room key, the room smelled so nice when you walked in. It was clean and spacious. Bathroom was nice, shower pressure was average, one of the towels had old blood stains on it which is the only con I had for my room. Bed was comfy and since I had to wake up early each morning noise was also not an issue. I went to the 4th floor every night, the pool itself was nice, never crowded and always very clean. Gym is small but adequate for a workout. Bartenders are all very nice except for one (the girl with the glasses on Wednesday night, she never came over to serve me even though I was standing there right in front of her, she would serve everyone else around me, so that night I just left). One evening I went down to the restaurant downstairs and food was also very good. Loved the Starbucks onsite, easy breakfast! read more

My 16 year old and I loved this hotel. Fun vibe, cute decor, always a fresh fruit water in the lobby and plenty of water bottles in the room. The pool was great and the poolside singer was fantastic! We also had pretty good nachos there while waiting for our room to be ready. All of the staff that we encountered were kind and accommodating including the breakfast staff. Just recommend selling Distilled water for those of us that require it because instacart is a little bit of a pain. read more

To start we had cabana which we paid good money for, no one to check in with, had to go under rope to seat ourselves and no service, had to order from bar in line and get all our stuff ourselves.... I am now charged nearly $1500 for a room with a cool shower, mold, and housekeeping decided to dump all the dirty linens in front of my door! Stayed here when I went to see a show at Third Man Records while CMA Fest was going on. In other words downtown Nashville was a hot mess. My room was great, having a Starbucks in the lobby was fantastic and it was a quick walk to Third Man. Broadway was a little bit further but still an easy walk. And it was nice to be away from that drunk parade. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in town for another Third Man show. My only minor grumble is valet is on the pricy side. If you're staying there more than a couple days I would figure out parking on your own. read more

I stayed here for over a week while moving to Nashville searching for a place to live. The staff is awesome. They upgraded me to a top floor corner suite with a view of downtown. The staff was very accommodating. The overall hotel was extremely clean and the restaurant on the first floor was awesome. They have live music every night and the food was so good. What a fun hotel in downtown Nashville. I had my sights on staying here after a bit of research on the location and amenities offered. The reviews overall were very positive. Upon arriving valet took care of my car and bags after waiting for a line backed up. Great start. The front desk had my reservation confirmed as an early check in which was appreciated and my room was ready. The staff was professional, but a bit stiff in my opinion for a resort theme hotel. The hotel lobby offered a gift shop and even a radio station, there is an event room downstairs it appears too! Everything was bright, clean and presented like vacation. I liked that! My king suite was prepared and in keeping with the theme of bright colors. A fridge was offered in the room. The bathroom had adequate supplies for a two day stay. I did take advantage of the heated pool which is actually rare in my trips. It's a roof top with a view. I also enjoyed the food and drinks poolside. Service was fantastic! The people watching was pretty darn fun too! Some high rollers were rolling through with some pretty fancy swimwear and dropping a chunk at the bar. I did not utilize any of the other amenities such as the exercise area. I did pop into the gift store which was nice. It had of course Margaritaville themed items. I also took advantage of the lobby Starbucks. I had one incident which drags the review down a full star. I had issues with climate in the room and immediately reported it day one. After returning that evening I expected maintenance had completed the work order. Unfortunately they had not. The room was warm and it was hard to rest. Things happen, but at $375 a night you hope for better. I do recommend Margaritaville and have plans to return to Nashville. Not sure if by lodging yet, but I may give them another try. read more

Beautiful hotel located downtown close to everything! Every little detail was paid attention to here. Every time you look around you'll see something else. Margarita glass chandeliers, shark mobiles, flying parrots... They have the Fins Bar and Grill on the 4th floor by the pool and the JWB Grill on the lobby level. They have live music and great drinks. Everything was awesome. Valet was $42 per night compared to $55 at other hotels. Our room was adorable! Even had a "License to Chill" mini fridge. I would definitely stay here again. Especially when every hotel downtown is the same price. read more

I had no idea what to expect when booking this hotel, and to be honest, we only found it because the places we wanted to stay were booked. Now that my trip is over, I am so glad we ended up at the Margaritaville Hotel! Let me preface by saying I am not a Jimmy Buffet fan or a parrot head. Nonetheless, the happy vibe with the beachy decor and bright colors made for a really fun stay! The room was clean and the staff was polite. The location was perfect and an easy walk to Broadway and downtown. My only complaint was that I didn't love the bathroom barn door. It didn't lock and had issues staying closed... and nobody wants that! We had drinks at Fins restaurant and that was fun too. I imagine the pool deck gets used a lot, but unfortunately, we didn't have the warm weather. I highly recommend the Margaritaville Hotel! read more

Let me preface this with my husband and I travel with Club Wyndham and have stayed in other Margaritaville locations in the south east, so I was surprised when we arrived for our 6 day stay and received a lackluster welcome (just after 5pm CT) that just continued to be all around underwhelming. Aside from asking for an ID and credit card, the receptionist was silent, head never lifted up to so much as smile or make us feel the least bit welcomed. Even after I mentioned we were traveling for my husband's birthday.. silent. No worries tho, she passed us off to the concierge across the lobby. The 2 women there were kind and helpful with lots of knowledge of the area as well and one of them overheard me say it was his birthday from across the lobby and she went in the back and surprised him with a Margaritaville bead necklace with the cutest charms on it. Hope slightly restored. Got put into a room on the 6th floor. Room was small, but we knew we had booked the only room available which was a studio. No margaritaville decor, no lime pillows, none of the stuff you see and expect from one of their locations. Still, the view was great overlooking the pool so we started to unpack and realized there was hardly any storage for clothes, 3 tiny, shallow drawers; 2 of which were inside the closet under the extra blankets & ironing board which rendered the closet useless as it was already cram packed with their stuff. I had to hang all of our shirts and my dresses around the room. I managed to cram our socks and underwear into the 3 tiny drawers. Luckily I pack with storage tubs so we chose to just keep our folded clothes in there at one end of the couch. As you know, Margaritaville locations equip all rooms with a Margaritaville Concoction Maker.. which is awesome, except the refrigerator in the room has no ice machine or ice trays... k, we will carry the bucket out to the ice machines... yeah, the ice machine had what could only be described as snot mixed with melted pink goo dripping from the dispenser. I called the front desk as well as messaged their Facebook page privately to let them know. And we headed to Walmart for a bag of ice and a couple other things determined to not let the start of our trip ruin the whole thing. When we got back the ice machine was still disgusting, but hey, we had our own clean ice so it's someone else's issue now. After mixing up and enjoying a couple drinks in the room we headed out to dinner, woohoo!! There were tools by the ice machine and the front had been removed, so we were glad to see someone had made it up there to clean/fix it. Gone about 2 hours or so and surprise surprise the front plate was put back on, pink dripping goo and no out of service sign. Every person I saw on our floor I gave them a heads up so they didn't unknowingly use and get sick from the ice. (Also note, they forbid you from bringing alcohol (liquor.. you know, tequila, for margaritas?? on the property. Only a 6 pack of beer and 1 bottle of wine.. Jimmy is rolling over in his grave watching me pour Moscato into my weak margarita) At 2 other locations that we have stayed in without even having to ask, we have received vouchers for the much touted "free margarita when you arrive".. I didnt really care about that, but while my husband went to get our car on day 2, I snuck over to the desk and there were 3 employees standing there and no other guests. So I asked if they do anything special for birthdays, I don't expect anything, but again, every other location has rolled out the best "make you feel good" service when we stayed in Atlanta for his 43rd birthday and again for our wedding night, so I thought I'd take a chance and ask, 2 of the 3 responded uh no with snarky attitudes and the 3rd just rolled his eyes and turned away. So that made me feel super good. I just said "ok, I'm sorry" and walked away. I didn't bother them again. We are on day 5 of 6 and we've decided to leave early and head back home. Do better, Nashville Margaritaville Hotel, the other locations make yall look like trash. The bed is comfy, and they provide ample toiletries. The hotel is beautifully done and consistently themed! We certainly would stay here again. Exceptional place, from top to bottom and everything in between! You won't regret your choice with Margaritaville Hotel. Every single staff member we interacted with had a great attitude. I also felt safe in the hotel, even when I was alone. I was so comfortable, I actually took the stairs sometimes. It is located about 1.5 blocks from Broadway. Once we checked in, the car only came out to drive to see Pink in concert. Everything and anything else was within walking distance from the hotel. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Nashville. Special thanks to Patrick, he was our bartender at the pool our last day (also served us at JW Bar downstairs). I was staying across the way but next time I'll stay at the MargaritavilleE Hotel. Why? Every time I came inside for the in-hour Starbucks, everyone was so very friendly to me. This is such a beautiful hotel. There is so much care that went into every aspect. My room was on the 12th floor, the top, right down the hall from the Jimmy Buffet suite. The room was massive, with a king bed and a full sized couch + lounger. I was there for work, so there was plenty of space for me to spread out and get things complete, while not lounging in bed. The bed was super comfy! The shower was a walk-in and the water pressure felt so good. There isn't any housekeeping services at this time, due to Covid, which was fine for me, I'm a bit weird about people coming into my room. They did provide extra towels and amenities for the stay, just in case. They advised me at the front desk that I could call for anything I needed and they would have it available for pick-up at the front desk. The mini-fridge was a table top version, big enough to put a few bottles of water and a few other beverages. The Keurig was a one cupper and was just perfect for me. read more

I should've gotten a clue when checking in all the young male employees were swooning over the young Concierge females. Pick up city? Things were great at first, clean room attentive waitress by the pool serving our lunch. Working hard. Blonde, skinny, and great waitress on her own. Great food. Our good luck ended the following night with drunk young people screaming down the halls from 3-5 am. We didn't report it because we didn't want to get targeted. Next morning we decided to try the restaurant on the first floor JWL? Hardly anyone there. We got seated. Menus water. My wife had to go find our waitress for our ice tea and coffee. She was visiting. Food was awful. Tasted like freezer burnt. Nausea shortly after. Went out that day. Back at the Hotel another sleepless night at the Hotel same Drunk young people running wild on the 7th floor. The following day we noticed that maid service had stopped. We had to call for towels. Our little trash cans were overflowing. Fast forward, we checked out the following day as the clerk ate her meal in front of us. I spent a lot of money on this hotel and feel I got ripped off! Is there a Manager at this particular hotel or are the young employees running the hotel? This is a reflection of your managing skills. I was offered to review by the hotel by Margarittaville through email. Every time I tried to submit my review, much like this, it would block me. Anyways, I want a refund. !!!! Great hotel in walking distance to all the bars on Broadway. Came here for a relative turning 21 and had an absolute blast. It's not cheap to get a hotel in walking distance to the action. You can get a taxi and also there are scooters nearby that you can grab. Your just need the app. read more

It's simple for me, I want a fresh and hot coffee in the morning. This was very difficult to achieve here. Apparently, Margaritaville has some kind of agreement with Starbucks. This one was useless. Always a long line, and only kids working. The kids did not care how you wanted your coffee (this one did not allow you to add cream/sugar yourself), and they were rude to customers. Then I went to their restaurant. Looked at me like I had 10 heads when I asked for a coffee. Told me I had to be seated and assigned a server to achieve this task. Why not simply put out coffee with condiments in the lobby, so your paying customers can serve themselves and be happy?? Profits before customers, I guess. I will not go back here. read more
