So I checked into this resort on Mother's day. The staff was great and very welcoming. Once my children and I got to the room we used the restroom and the sink clogged up right away. I tried to use the phone but it did not work. I found a young lady who cleans rooms in the hall way. I told her what was going on and she stated that she would take care of it. We went to have lunch and hang out in the pool. When we returned the sink was still clogged. I used my cell phone to call and inform the front desk of the situation. The gentlemen stated he would send someone up to take care of it. No one ever came that evening. I told them at check out the next morning and I was informed that a manager would call me. I waited more than 24 hours and no phone call came. I called and spoke to a manager she told me that she would look into it and call me back. I never received a call. This was her disappointing because the initial perception was great. I don't see myself staying here again. read more

We came here mainly for the pool area with our kids. The biggest disappointment is there is 8 umbrellas for about 150 chairs. So in the dead of summer it is intolerable to sit and watch the kids play in direct sunlight. You could always get in the pool, except the water is not a crystal blue clear. It has a slight yellow/cloudy undertone to it. The food here is mediocre at best. Pizza place is terrible. And we had ants in our bathroom. Definitely not worth the nightly price of these rooms. read more

So-so resort. I give it 5 stars for kid entertainment. The pool and arcade were perfect for my 10 and 13 year old and they had a great time. However, I give it 2 stars for cleanliness and service. While the beds seemed clean, the room didn't and the resort didn't. There was crushed cereal in the doorway of the room across from us the entire 3 days we were there. There was a heavy layer of dust on the "beverage cart" thing in the room, there were crumbs of some sort on the floor under the edge of the bed and we had a dirty rag in the bathroom. The room needed a deep cleaning - BAD! It also seem kind of run down and in need of basic maintenance. Wait times in the restaurants were very long. We only went once for a dessert- we ordered as soon as we sat down and the whole experience took about 45mins. Dessert portion was also small for the price. Due to this one visit, we left the resort to eat all other meals. read more

This was my first trip to Margaritaville and I enjoyed it. I thought it was a casino the entire time I've been traveling down here to visit my parents. So far from the truth lol! It's a giant arcade room for kids. When I was younger, the casinos used to have the arcades inside for the kids while the parents gambled. This is a place just for kids to let loose, while still being close to the casinos for parents. We stayed overnight at the Golden Nugget casino, which is right next door to Margaritaville. The area in which we parked at our casino hotel was right within walking distance for Margaritaville. We headed on over and entered through the garage elevator and went up to the 2nd floor to the gameroom. I will say that the entrance from the parking garage was a bit confusing. We were apparently headed to the hotel check-in area for Margaritaville, but we ran into an employee who directed us to another elevator for regular entrance. Took the elevator up and it opens right in the middle of the gameroom, which was perfect. Who in their right mind would want to stay overnight at a kids playpark?! Bless those parents lol I would be poor, broke and out of patience by the end of my stay. I'm sure that'll be sooner than later for me, my kids are so ready to go back already. The vibe is similar to Dave & Busters or Main Event. Open arcade game play with optional activities spread throughout, such as mini bowling, wall climbing and sky ropes. There were additional stairs in the gameroom leading up to a restaurant. I didn't go up to view anything this visit, but may try it next time. There's also another family friendly restaurant on the same floor as the gameroom. Games are all different prices, but a $10 card apiece kept my kids busy for over an hour. Plus, they were able to shop around in the gift center to exchange their tickets that were collected during play. Tickets are uploaded to your playcard as you win them, so hang on to your card until the end. If you plan on coming back, keep the card to refill it next time, there's a small fee for a new card. Yes, this place plays 'Margaritaville' by Jimmy Buffet but it's not on repeat like I imagined. I had my own idea of what this place was, I was so wrong. I'll be back during the warmer months, they have a lazy river and a pool area on the rooftop. We could see it from our hotel room next door and it looks like fun. We needed a place like this on the coast. I'll have to review the rooms and restaurants on another trip, we only visited the arcade area and gift shop this time and we had a blast. read more

We visited Margaritaville for several year, however the overall conditions of the resort seemed to deteriorate with every visit. We decided we would not return. On a fluke, in April 2023, being it was just my husband and (no children this time) we decided to take a chance and try Margaritaville one more time. To our great surprise, conditions had improved significantly. Two months later we returned for a get away with the grand kids. read more

So I've been twice 2021& 2022 and I loved it each time one of my favorite resorts. It seems like these people in the reviews are just annoying nitpickers, the place is nice I think the price for rooms are good don't go during a holiday if you don't want to spend the high rates..duh Only thing I would like for them to have a little more food options! But the food is good but they be busy I absolutely love the arcade definitely my main reason I go good prices for the arcade also The staff were very nice Also the area Margaritaville is in is very beautiful I love the surroundings area 10/10 would recommend read more

We stayed here this weekend with our soccer team; which is fantastic for the kiddos & the parents. The pool area is nice with a lazy river, water slide, rope area for the littles & a swim up bar for the adults. There is also a bar on either end of the pool, so you will not go thirsty. The pool is not heated so it was a little cool this time of year. The kids absolutely loved Gracie the lifeguard; she visited with them while waiting on the slides. They felt extremely special. The majority of our time was spent on the 2nd floor at the arcade and pizza place bar. The parents ate, drank & watched football while the kids played in the arcade. It was a win win for all involved. Raven, the bartender, was by far the best part of the 2nd floor. We had her both nights and she is amazing! She's great with the customers, does her job with a huge smile & is just a joy to be around. Her interactions with all of the guests was exceptional! Occasionally, a child would climb in their mom's lap at the bar (which is illegal) and she handled it flawlessly. It was done so perfectly that no one felt like they did something wrong while getting the job done. Whether you're staying at the hotel or just visiting the arcade, make sure to see Raven at the bar. Unless you don't tip well, in that case just keep it moving. The downside of staying here are the hotel walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything in the room next to you. The elevators take FOREVER! There are only 4 elevators for 23 floors, so be prepared to wait. You have to pay for a wristband to go to the pool whether you're going to use it or not. All in all, it's a great place for family fun ! read more

Sorry, Jimmy but you'll be wasting your time in Margaritaville if you check this place out. There's a Margaritaville restaurant and a large arcade but no casino and the place has a really odd layout. Apparently it had a casino years ago but it closed? Not much of a reason to come here unless you're staying at the hotel or want to check out the arcade. read more

We visited just the arcade and bar of Margaritaville Resort, so base this on that alone and unfortunately not on the rooms or restaurants. Side note: We did peek into the pool area, but only hotel guests are allowed in so it was quick. But it didn't look as big as I expected from online photos and was very crowded. We had three teenagers and a 3 year old, and all found things to keep them entertained and busy for a few hours, though it requires a couple of refills on the cards. You either reload existing cards or purchase new from kiosks near the entrance, noting that they do not give change and some don't give a receipt. Once when reloading, my friend watched my son put two $5 bills in but the machine only registered one. We found help and explained, asking if they had a way to verify as I didn't expect them to just trust us. However, she handled it immediately without question. We also had an issue with a machine not working but someone credited it back and fixed it quickly. Rock climbing was probably the best value at 25 credits, which is about $5 and allows you to make a few climbs. Both teens made it to the top but were tired out and sore. It's high! You redeem "tickets" that are added to your card in a prize "store" which is primarily cheap fun things, but has a variety and our kids all left happy. My friend and I also enjoyed a margarita each, which were good and chosen from the wide selection. We spent quite a bit, but had a lot of fun too. read more

I booked an executive suite and was told at check in that it does not exist (wow!) and instead given a family king suite. It comes with a king sized bed and bunk bed. It's okay. Just okay. I expected a little more room - something a "suite" usually indicates - but this was one room of somewhat larger size. The top bunk of the bed was not clean. The bathroom is nice. But overall we were so disappointed, did not unpack, and found different accommodations in town. Also, as others have said, the entrance and parking are confusing. read more

We've been there twice so far, and we have had fun both times. The first time was near the summer, and we were able to enjoy the Waterpark for three days straight. It was a bit colder during our second visit, so we were only able to tolerate the water for about 2 hours. However, the paradise pier and the arcade were both open, so we still had a fun experience. The accommodations are bad but there is nothing special for the price. Probably alright if you have small kids and are looking for a place to spend majority of the weekend. It's a very expensive tourist trap. Employees don't seem thrilled to work. The pizza restaurant was absolutely horrible. I don't think I've had worse pizza. Biloxi offers some great restaurants though so if you choose to stay here check out local places like The greenhouse coffee shop for breakfast. Woody's for lunch or dinner. read more

Very disappointed in this property. Was expecting more from the Margaritaville brand. The water park was a huge disappointment based on what was advertised. Water was extremely cold (we were expecting it to be heated). Also, lifeguard on duty watched a baby fall in the pool and almost drown - someone else jumped in fully clothed to save the child. The arcade was also disappointing based on what was advertised - there were not as many arcade games or activities as advertised. The restaurant was what finally made us cancel the rest of our stay. First, a child (not ours) got locked in a bathroom stall and despite repeated requests for assistance, help did not arrive for over half an hour. The menu items seemed limited to all things fried. The waitress ghosted us after we placed our order. We proceeded to watch three larger tables, who were seated well after us, receive their orders. We had to ask the bartender for help in finding our waitress and order. When the food finally came out, it was missing items and you could tell it had been sitting for a while. We also were not given silverware. When we asked for set-ups, we were given plastic wrapped picnic packs - too flimsy to cut anything. I noticed some tables had the plastic utensils and others had real silverware, so we asked a busboy and he brought us real metal silverware so we could cut our food. Also, the drinks were all served in plastic cups. Once we were finally able to eat our food, the quality of the seafood was on par with a Long John Silvers - not good at all. I had concerns that we might even get sick from the food because it was so bad. For the price of that meal, I was not expecting to be on a picnic begging for everything from our food to the utensils. But given the quality of the food, I've been on better picnics. The hotel room was what you would expect from a typical Holiday Inn Express. Nothing about this stay made me think that the Margaritaville is a resort brand. It was a huge disappointment all around. The entire stay felt like a disaster. If you're looking for a place to bring kids this would rate 5 stars. However, and it may be because of Covid, the hallways were dirty and the Margaritaville restaurant Isn't up to the standard of other Margaritaville restaurants. However, the decor is really fun Jimmy Buffet vibes. There is a big indoor Escape arcade with high end games and even bowling lanes. The pool is great for kids with a lazy river and water slide. Wristbands are required for the pool area. When you check in you get a number wristbands according to how many guests in your room. Again, it's great for kids but needs upkeep outside of the rooms. We were greeted at the door by The best hostess ever- Hannah Hurley! She walked us through everything and explained all the attractions. This place is awesome and their customer service is TOP NOTCH!!! FYI- rock climbing wall kicked our butts!! The two young gentlemen working that attraction were AWESOME!!! The younger guy even took my phone and snapped pics of the fam climbing!!! The service here is AMAZING!!!!! Also- bar staff- AMAZING I highly recommend this place! read more

After being accused of lying about the package we booked (they said it could not happen, even though the lady next to us was having the same issue). We were able to get the room we wanted. The bar staff was really friendly and the band was decent. I woke up Saturday morning and went to make coffee. A little tip, always inspect the water tank or pot for "growth". Please see the attached pictures. After the issues from the front desk and manager from Friday night I was looking to get out of there without causing any more problems. read more

When I say the cafe here sucks, that's an understatement! First of all it smelled like bleach and mildew when we came up, the waitress named SKY is very unpleasant! The wait was 35 minutes and my cuban sandwich and fries came out COLD COLD, she offered to make a new one, but who has 35 more minutes to wait on food. I definitely will not be back to the second floor of this facility. Game room was great and the pizzeria staff was AMAZING! I LOVE THEM, if my two girls didn't want chicken tenders for dinner we would have ate here instead! Go to the pizzeria their pies looked amazing and everyone was happy. Very disappointed. I was told it was a brand new hotel but it looks like a remodel and not a great one, especially considering the high price of a room and it was no different than a $99 hotel room. All the other resorts have casinos but not this one so you have to walk next door. The restaurant smelled so bad we got up and left before we ordered. This was our first time to Margaritaville and I was quite disappointed. First, there were no signs to indicate where I should park my car to unload. I parked all the way in the front and had to walk a good dis tase to get to hotel plus hotel registration is on the 10th floor. Upon entering the hotel during a pandemic I didn't see any extra precaution besides employees wearing mask and the usual hand sanitizer dispensers on the wall. Let's talk next about the carpet! The carpet throughout the hallways, entrance, and INSIDE the rooms were utterly disgusting. I think they should have shampooed carpet while the world was shut down or even replaced with hardwood floors which would give more beach vibes than this dirty carpet. Lastly, I went to use the guest room phone and it was disgustingly dirty which made me question if the room was cleaned thoroughly prior to my arrival. I'm not sure I'm in a hurry to return. Btw an extra pool pass is $42.00 and I was given four per room. read more

We had my son's 6th birthday party at the Escape Arcade and it was perfect! All the kids had SO much fun! We were provided pizza and brought in chips, a cake, and cupcakes and there was more than enough food to go around. We had plenty of room for the kids and adults. Let me tell you guys, Maria Williams was our party coordinator and she was SPECTACULAR. This party was for my youngest and we've done A LOT of parties in other venues for kids. This was by far the most stress-free, laid back party I've ever had. My husband commented that it almost felt like we were the guests! Maria remembered the names of all the kids, made sure everyone was included and taken care of, and even remembered the name of another boy who had a party there last YEAR! When I tell you we'll be back for more parties, I'm not kidding. She was so patient and communicated with me in the weeks leading up to the party to make sure everything was perfect! I'm telling y'all she is the best. Also, the arcade is HUGE and there is so much to do. The adults felt like kids running around playing all the games and having fun with the kids. I have never once left a review but I had to let you ALL know about Maria and this arcade. 10/10! Thank you Maria, you made Cameron's party the best one yet! read more

I loved this place but unfortunately last Sunday came and eat at one of their restaurants upstairs food was good and waitress was nice paid my meal which was 59 dollars something came downstairs to buy my son a card my debit card got declined due to them overcharged my card and hold my entire money WHAT RESTAURANT DOES THAT?? For the price, not a great stay. Rooms were clean and staff friendly, but the price tag is just a jump off point, other than pool access nothing special and themeing is mediocre at best. Grand total of 4 elevators for the guest rooms/check- in/ pool access, which means slow and at capacity most of the time. (New friends are great but my herd, plus other hot tired children and adults make an interesting and aromatic ride to the 23rd floor.... At $200- 250 ish a night a couple of tokens at the arcade or a game of bowling or even an in room microwave should be standard. read more

Also the casino was in walking distance too so it was a win win. They're also in the process of building a big Farris wheel so they can do a sky bar. We will definitely be back. read more

Too expensive ($250- Sunday w/military discount). The hotel rooms are rundown,needs updating. The shower was clogged and had to be fixed. So we had to wait b/c needed a shower after swimming. The AC blows out right over the head of the bed. Your head freezes Everytime it kicks on. The water park needs lots of repairs, the inner tubes are old and stained, so are the lounge pillow things. Went to Margaritaville Cafe the food was AWFUL. The pizza place was ok, but Cesar Salad was not roman had spring mix??? I stayed here with my mom and 2 daughters last weekend (9/10/21 - 9/12/21) There was consistently trash on the ground around the pool- napkins, cups and rotting fruit. On Friday night and Saturday morning the Margeritaville restaurant smelled strongly of vomit. It was disgusting. The arcade has a ton of machines that take your credits but do not work. Our room (1008) smelled like mushrooms/mold the entire time, no matter how much we aired it out. A new person being trained opened the "wrong door" on Saturday night, resulting in a fire drill around midnight. Guests had to get out of bed, evacuate and gather in the parking garage. Staff repeatedly told us it was safe to go back to out room, only to be told by the fire department the rooms had not been cleared yet. It took an hour before we were allowed to return. All of that was enough to keep me from ever going there again. The staff doesn't care, is poorly trained, the place dirty and not well maintained. The next thing I'm adding is what really bothers me though. On top of everything else, the staff is apathetic and dishonest and guest services doesn't care: We left Sunday. I accidentally forgot a very sentimental piece of jewelery/artwork hanging on the bedframe on the bed to the left. This isn't a piece that I wear, I keep it nearby at all times and it travels with me. It has religious significance and I'd been creating and adding to it for 3 years. It has large pendants on it and would have been hard to miss by the cleaning crew. I called repeatedly. I e-mailed several times. I left several messages. On the first day I called, a man told me he was unable to transfer me and to call the number he gave me and listen to every option. He have me the exact same number I dialed and there is absolutely zero lost and found/ guest property option, like he said there would be. From here I left voice messages and emails that no one responded to. Finally, on Thursday (9/16/21) someone answered and gave me the ext. for the front desk, so I tried that. The lady who answered knew I had emailed (so staff knew about but no one answered the emails). She told me guest services knew about the issue and someone would call. Hours later, someone from security called to tell me the cleaning crew didn't see my necklace and it was not in lost and found. I asked if that means a guest after me just stole it and he told me that's possible. The day after, another person in security called to tell me the same info: my necklace was not in the lost and found, that he personally checked the room (he mentioned a hairbrush and black shorts left behind that definitely weren't left by me) *AND* he mentioned my room had been vacant since I checked out. This means the cleaning crew either plucked it off the bedframe and threw it away instead of bringing it to lost and found OR they just kept it cause it's kind of interesting looking. We've just checked in today. My husband and our two sons. We won't be staying any longer than tonight because clearly the hotel is no where near completely booked yet they don't have a blanket for my other son on the top bunk. So one on the bottom but just a sheet on the top. Yet we called the front desk an hour prior and they were bringing one up. Margaritaville. To many folks, it's a vision of beaches, sunsets, flip flops and of course, cool margaritas. The iconic song and associated lifestyle has given permission to call many sensible adults Parrotheads. While personally not a Parrothead, I have always enjoyed the music of Mr. Cheeseburger in Paradise Buffet! What's not to love about cool sounds, like ocean waves and catchy lyrics? So, when my own Little Miss Magic fiancée and I booked a room for the night, we had a natural expectation of what to expect in 'Margaritaville Land'. We were wrong. Let me explain that we DID read quite a few reviews about the place BEFORE we booked. We noticed lots of comments about kids, arcades, etc. We had no problem with that. But, we did not expect the place to be basically one giant Kids Zone! Once we got settled in, we went for a stroll of the property. We definitely felt out of our element, as two 'older' adults without accompanying children. Our excursion was brief, and we ended up at an adult beverage island called The Lost Key Lounge. There, we enjoyed a very nice view of the water and surrounds. Plus, it was quiet. Peacefully quiet. That was what we were in the mood for on this night. Oh, we can rock out with the best of them, just not tonight. Our server Payne, was delightful and took very good care of us. We appreciated him a lot! It's GREAT to have a place like this resort to bring your kids to and just turn them loose. We have no problem with that, at all. And yes, we probably should have found a different hotel for the night. But, the REAL intent of this review is to point out a few observations that I deem necessary to reveal, regardless of the age demographic of the guest. First and foremost, I am VERY concerned about the temperature of the hot water available to guests in the rooms. The bathroom sink water was near scalding, way too hot for anyone, but for children in particular! And it was quite hard to control the temperature of the shower water. The temp would vary from cold to quite hot, just like when someone flushes a toilet and you get that blast of cold, or worse, hot water! Most modern shower valves have Scald Prevention Type, or Automatic Compensating type designs and should BE MANDATORY in a hotel/resort setting. (It is possible these are in place here, but ours was defective?) The paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling in spots. I presume there had been a water leak in the unit above, or caused from excess shower heat/humidity? The light in the shower itself was out as well. And the toilet paper holder was missing the rod that holds the roll, so they just hung the roll over one of the mounts...geez. Later on, we tried watching some TV. The a/c made a fair amount of background sound, so we turned the TV up accordingly. When the a/c turned off the TV volume would be excessively loud. We were annoyed and worried this might disturb our neighbors, too. All in all, I'll close with this. Family oriented a plus. Adults looking for a little Parrothead fun, look for Changes in Latitudes via GPS and go elsewhere. But I do hope management will address the scald potential of the hot water for the safety of all of their guests. read more

What a waste of money!!! First it started with my wife getting the third degree from the check in person while I had to use the restroom. When I walked up to the desk I had to provide her with my address as if we were trying to be sneaky. I've never stayed at a place where my wife could not check us in much less be interrogated before given permission to check in. I'm just glad that I walked up and even I had to give my address several times....isn't that what my id is for? I didn't see any signage that said we better know our address or else risk not being allowed to check in. After the third degree, we asked about the pool only to be scowled a and told it was closed.asked about the pier rides and guess what ...closed as well. I could have paid $20 extra a night to stay at hard rock or Harrah's where at least there was plenty of people and other activities. Not even a gift shop selling Jimmy Buffett merchandise except for 1 stand with 4 shirts. All night the music played in the hallway and could be heard thru the door. Also they must be short staffed on cleaning crew as no one entered our room in the 3 days we were there. We booked a king room but got a room with 2 full-size beds. The towels were not white as they looked like maybe they were used as mop rags on the floor. We went out to eat elsewhere because we were too afraid to try the food. This hotel is way overpriced. It is not worth the price you pay The water coming out of the sink was brown and they charge for the bottled water in the room You are paying for a name and "resort" facilities that are packed constantly Save your money and stay somewhere else ** The desk was notified of the water and led me to believe they were aware and it was not an issue for them I was told the water was not complimentary but I could get more in the shop located in the hotel I was there for one night and did not desire to have to spend most my evening dealing with maintenance problems for over $300 a night! Then your overbooked restaurant reported to Open Table that I didn't make my dinner reservation after we showed up and were talked into sitting in the bar because they had no table I have stayed in many busy resorts so please don't excuse this to the high season You have issues that need to be addressed at those nightly rates read more
