I've been eating at Pasta Blitz my entire life - or at least it seems that way. I've definitely been eating there since it opened. Remember when there was a Safeway and a Rite Aid and a craft store in that shopping center? Yeah, I'm from the neighborhood, from the way back, before Walmart even! If the fact that I have been eating at Pasta Blitz for this long isn't enough of a recommendation for you - BEHOLD! Here is a proper review. This past week I required eggplant. I feel like you can't go wrong with the EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA - thin slices of breaded eggplant, stacked with cheese, covered with sauce and then more cheese. It comes with spaghetti, but you can request other noodles instead. Personally, I'm a big fan of angelhair, but do you. The EGGPLANT PARM SUB is also quality. The boyfriend started off with MOZZARELLA CAPRESE (fresh Mozzarella cheese, fresh plum tomatoes, garlic, olive oil + fine herb). He always gets this. I don't know why. He never finishes it, and I don't feel like it's worth the price. He also had a MEATBALLS PARMIGIANA SUB and a CHEESESTEAK (extra cheese and onions). I LOVED the meatballs. But once he bit into the cheesesteak, there was no turning back for him. The man simply adores a cheesesteak sub. My mom got the SHRIMP PARMIGIANA (the Friday special) and was over the moon about how tender the breaded shrimp were and lamented that there were only three. She had penne as her pasta. While we didn't order these items this time around, I also recommend: - SPAGHETTI CARBONARA (bacon and finely chopped onions in a rosé creamy egg sauce topped with Parmesan cheese) - SAUSAGE, ONIONS & PEPPERS (green peppers, onions, Italian sausage and homemade marinara sauce) - PENNE ALLA ARRABBIATA (spicy marinara sauce and the finest imported grated Parmesan cheese) Just say "no" to the spaghetti pizza unless you want a laugh, or if it's on your bucketlist to try. I don't know why anyone thinks that's a good idea. This is the kind of establishment where you order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Prompt and pleasant service. Still the best pizza in the Carroll Island/Bowley's Quarters area, by far (and according to friends further down the road in Chase, probably best in Middle River)! Pastas can be pricey but they're good. Salads are huge! Plenty of options including seafood specials. Spaghetti pizza is wonder if it's own, and amazing!!! Dine in is decent, pick up is easy. Service was great. All the staff seemed to have a great attitude and it's nice to go to a place and not feel like a nuisance to place an order. Food was okay. Veggie calzone was very watery and meatball sub wasn't anything special (what we ordered). But I definitely appreciated the positive attitude from the staff and I love the normal old pizza shop ambience that this place gives off on the inside. I loved this place for many years, the spaghetti pizza was my favorite!! If the stars were based solely on the pizza I would have given more but unfortunately it's not. Their hours of operations are ridiculous, online it states they close at 9:00 p.m , I arrived 10 minutes prior to closing and I pull up and all the lights are off, I had some hope left because I saw an employee and she stated they had given away my pizza because they always shut down services at 8:45. It's completely ridiculous, they are constantly running out of certain items so you would think they would make more of it seeing as customers like the food. One because I had a taste for some chicken marsala with penne noodles...and 2 because I'm looking for an Italian restaurant to possibly catered an upcoming event for me. The food is amazing! Been going here for a few years now and I've never had something from pasta blitz that I didn't like. I particularly like the angel hair pasta with meat sauce, and the crab chesapeake with fettuccine instead of penne pasta! Portions are great for what you're paying. We order a lot of carryout, but occasionally we'll eat in and the restaurant atmosphere is always great. I also love how you can customize every thing on the menu. Very convenient for picky eaters and those with allergies! They also serve a kids portion of spaghetti and butter, which I thought was amazing as a mother of two fussy eaters!! The service is great too. I've only had a problem with my order once, and they were very apologetic and fixed the order no problem. Great staff and great food! read more

Experiencing serious regret here, and not for the reasons you might be guessing! My husband and I have lived less than a mile from Pasta Blitz for a year, and we only tried it for the first time yesterday! The customer service is fantastic, the food presentation for takeout was great, and the food temperature was on point. Pasta Blitz is located in the Carroll Island Shopping Center. They offer an assortment of pastas, pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads, and soups. We placed an order for pick-up by phone, as we weren't sure if they offer delivery (not for lack of info available on their part, but more so laziness in looking on ours). I ordered the cheesesteak with mayo and American cheese on focaccia bread, and six hot buffalo wings. My husband ordered the pizza cheesesteak. The food only took about 15 minutes, and we ate within thirty minutes of ordering (including ordering, pick-up, and drive home time). The focaccia bread was heavenly-like two soft pillows of bread, and it really complemented the steak and cheese. The buffalo wings were actually spicy which I enjoyed and had great flavor. Unfortunately we will be leaving the area within the next few months, but I've already been thinking up ways to convince my husband to hang around longer so that we can enjoy some more of their menu! ;) read more

They would rather a bad review than honoring what obviously the owner put on yelp as an incentive to come in? Hmmm not a good way to run a business or welcome customers. I showed this offer to three different employees who spoke Spanish or some other language to each other in front of us to each other and all three said no. As you can read from my previous reviews on yelp I try to be positive but this is ridiculous. The spaghetti pie was interesting but greasy we only ate 1/4 of it. Customer service? This is my go-to spot for takeout food in this area but I've only ever had the prosciutto and mozzarella sub on their homemade focaccia. It's so good that I've never wanted to try anything else! The focaccia bread is perfect, slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Generous amount of prosciutto and it's difficult to eat the whole thing. The bf likes their Italian on focaccia just as much. Call ahead with your order. It takes 25 mins even to ready a sub order, every time but we'll worth the wait. read more

After yelling in her face, he walked away and mumbled to another customer, "The place was better before. It's the Mexicans." Despite this man's privileged tantrum - aggressive pacing, leaning in and down to intimidate a young woman, and screaming things like "WHY CANT YOU F***ING GET IT RIGHT!" - the entire staff kept their composure and responded with peace and patience. Pizza wise, you can't go wrong with this place. By the slice there's multiple tasty options. By the whole pie, you get great value for very delicious pizza. In my mind, some of the best in the area. However, I did recently venture off from just pizza and tried their cream of crab that was advertised. Huge disappointment. Few shreds of meat on top of a thin, bland cream sauce. No onion or anything inside other than the small amount of crab and cream. I was disappointed but they aren't known for soup. Their subs are also very delicious. Fresh crusty roll with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this location to many of my friends. I eat here almost weekly after my Walmart shopping trip which is right next door. The staff is usually friendly but recently there's been a short, young Spanish looking girl who's not very kind and seems like she'd rather be anywhere else than working there. Great management is obvious here as they are always bending over backward to satisfy the customer. Best NY style pizza around. Daily lunch specials are a steal for $6.95 during the week. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the restaurant and the fact it's not kid friendly. There was no changing station in the bathroom for my 2 year old and the floors and walls were so disgusting that I decided to change him on the booth where we were eating. To be honest, with pizza and sub shops coming from the sky (the lowest food cost in the industry most of the time) if you want my business you've gotta be GREAT. I just wasn't feeling it. For them to deliver to work is convenient only, but they're very average, even slightly below average. Eat in, delivery or carry out, though when I ate in I was very confused about the process. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to go get my food (which I watched someone do) or wait for it to come to me (which I also watched happen). I can honestly say this is my favorite pizzeria. The pasta is delicious and soft. The pizza is extremely good and freshly made.The subs are great but are slightly soggy because of the sauces depending on which sub you get. I recommend the margherita pizza, and grilled chicken sub. If I could give zero stars I would. This establishment felt it ok to tip themselves an extra $32 on top of the tip I left them via card. They took more in tip than the actual bill was. It was just luck I caught on when randomly checking my bank account. And when I made them aware they wanted to challenge it saying it couldn't have happened and was it really the right place and they don't do this etc etc when I had the bank charge right there showing them. And instead of simply apologizing and making it right I had to stand around for them to keep telling me a bunch of excuses. I finally did get my $32 back but I had to feel like I did something wrong. Really? Got no other compensation, only the feeling of being a nuisance. Their food used to be a lot better. The caprese sticks are one of my faves. I ordered a Greek salad and there was so much feta on it, it overtook the salad. I know, some people think that that's a good thing, but too much is crazy.
