After struggling with infertility for 8 years and experiencing a failed IVF cycle, I came to Dr…read more Rubal feeling discouraged and searching for answers. From the very beginning, she truly listened to my concerns and took the time to investigate the root causes affecting my health and fertility. Dr. Rubal quickly identified several underlying conditions, including endometriosis, PCOS, insulin resistance, prediabetes, high cholesterol, and other issues that had gone undiagnosed for years. She recommended a GLP-1 medication as part of my treatment plan, and after just three months, I feel like a completely different person. While I am still on my journey toward pregnancy, I finally feel hopeful because Dr. Rubal is helping me heal the underlying causes rather than simply treating symptoms. She is an exceptional physician with extensive medical knowledge, profound empathy, and a truly compassionate approach to patient care. She listens carefully, communicates clearly, and makes you feel genuinely supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Dr. Rubal to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring doctor who truly advocates for her patients.

I suffered from 3 pregnancy losses and didn't know where to turn until a friend of mine told me about Dr. Rubal and how she helped her become pregnant. I saw Dr. Rubal in May 2025, where she intentionally listened to me and my husband and our experience with loss. She was kind and compassionate but also straightforward and to the point when it came to the diagnoses. We saw her 3 times to create a game plan, which included taking supplements and also changing lifestyle factors. She was aways available via her patient portal to talk about next steps. 4 months later, I am so happy to say I am 8 weeks pregnant and finally got to hear that precious heart beat! IVF wasn't an option since it is a financial stressor as well as something that didn't align with my values. IVF isn't a 100% success rate or guarantee you will be blessed with a baby. Going with more holistic approach will save you a ton of money and you will learn a lot about your health and body. I encourage you to listen to Dr. Rubal on several podcasts before hand so you can gain a sense of how much it may cost you vs IVF and compare the success rates between the two approaches. Please keep in mind, Dr. Rubal in a one woman show, so it may take 2-3 weeks for her to get back to your initial message. You may also have to wait a bit for your appointment time because she it so committed to all of her patients, she takes time with them and will do the same for you. And I know waiting any amount of time while trying to conceive it like a lifetime but be patient because she is worth it! Good luck!

Interesting information about Dr. R. Alrezk, MD and Professional Bio:…read moreDr. Rami Alrezk, MD, MS, FACP is a triple-board-certified specialist in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Geriatric Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He is the founder of the California Endocrine Center in Murrieta, CA. His pedigree is elite; He served as a Medical Director at the Cleveland Clinic and completed advanced fellowships at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), UCSF, and UCLA. Dr. Alrezk is not just a clinician but a researcher who developed the Geriatric-Sensitive Cardiac Risk Index, a tool now utilized by major health organizations to improve surgical safety for seniors. He is widely considered an expert in high-complexity cases, including neuroendocrine tumors and rare adrenal disorders. Peer Review: 5/5 Stars The Verdict: Dr. Alrezk represents the rare "physician-scientist" who successfully bridges the gap between high-level academic research and compassionate patient care. What Stands Out The "Triple Threat" Perspective: His background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology allows him to see the "whole picture." He doesn't just treat a thyroid; he understands how that treatment impacts the heart and the aging process. Scientific Precision: Having trained at the NIH and Caltech, his diagnostic approach is more rigorous than a standard community endocrinologist. He is the doctor other doctors send their "mystery cases" to. Patient Accessibility: Despite his world-class credentials, patient feedback consistently highlights his humility and clarity. He has a knack for explaining complex hormonal feedback loops in simple, everyday language. Conclusion: If you are in Southern California and dealing with a complex endocrine issue--especially if you are an older adult--Dr. Alrezk is arguably the most over-qualified (in a good way) and capable specialist in the region. My Review: Dr. Rami Alrezk is one of the best physicians I have in my care team. He is very knowledgeable not only as an Endocrinologist and Neuro Endocrinologist, but he understands the importance of treating the whole body. For years, many physicians I have had in the past, wanted to just jump in and put me on medication that I couldn't tolerate. There was a reason for that, but he was the only one who knew why. He also does ultrasounds, liver scans and Dexa scans in his office himself, which saves time on a diagnosis. I have never experienced the level of care he has for his patience from any other doctor. I guarantee you will get the best care if you establish with Dr. Rami Alrezk. He's one of a kind and quite impressive. Thank you Dr. Rami, for your caring attitude and expertise.

The PA got all 3 of my prescriptions incorrect when sending them to CVS. I called multiple times over a couple of weeks to get this problem fixed. CVS also attempted to call them. Not a single call back or answer. Ever. I wound up having to go to Urgent Care to get my insulin. Never got that call back, until today, a month or so later, after I left a message telling them that I am cancelling any future appointments. They did not get cancelled. I had to call again and listen to an infuriating song about endocrinology (a country song, no less!) for over 10 minutes. I got hung up on twice, accidentally, I suppose. I tried to cancel via text. It didn't work. Finally I got a person and cancelled and told them exactly why. If you don't care if I survive, shown by their lack of response to me and CVS, I will not support your business, lol. If I could give it zero stars I would. I suppose the one star could be for the first PA, who was super nice and thorough, until it came to my Rxs, at least?

I just got home from my first visit to Dr. Jou's office and I have never felt so compelled to write…read morea review and post it ASAP. Yesterday, I called Dr. Jou's office and, unlike the other three endocrinologist offices I called, his front office was extremely warm and welcoming over the phone. I felt it was a great start, but contained my enthusiasm for the time being because I have been disappointed down the road so many times before. Fast forward to today's appointment and the front office staff was just as friendly and accommodating in person. They respected the appointment time and got me back to a room not a minute later than scheduled. The nurse who started off my visit couldn't have been kinder and she even checked in with me while Dr. Jou was finishing up with another patient. When Dr. Jou entered the room, I immediately got great vibes from him and noticed his way of letting the patient talk and truly listening to what is being said. He allowed me to fully express how I was feeling, symptoms I've noticed, and never cut me off. He also entered everything I was telling him directly into his tablet. He was thorough in explaining my test results, options for treatment, and timelines. He did not rush anything and had back up plans for every scenario that were clearly well thought out. I honestly don't think I can say that I've ever visited a doctor who I walked out of their office without the regret of not having been given the opportunity to say something about my situation until now. Even on the 45 minute drive back home from his office, I couldn't think of anything that he didn't cover or allow me the time and opportunity to explain or ask. To add a shred of credibility to my words, I would like to say that my father is a (recently retired) cardiologist who had his own practice in North Hollywood. I spent countless hours with him there from the age of 5 years old through my late teens. Therefore, I know a bit about how difficult it can be to ensure your front office staff, the doctor, and the rest of the overall patient experience are all simultaneously performing at an optimal level. Somehow, Dr. Jou's office pulls off that seemingly impossible feat beautifully. In closing, health struggles can be very scary and stranger, friend, or family, I don't want anybody to ever have a poor experience with a medical office during such a vulnerable and stressful time in their life. Therefore, I sincerely hope that you strongly consider choosing Dr. Jou as your first option if you are in need of an endocrinologist. Wishing you the best of health and the best of life.

We couldn't get my numbers down after over a year of insulin. When I expressed that I felt the medication needed to be changed and my insulin pump number did not feel correct I was told the insulin isnt the problem, it was me. That day I decided to get a second opinion. Thankfully I did, my insulin pump setting was backwards and i was getting more insulin at night when I'm not eating then during the day!! Within 3 months my new doctor got my A1C down over 2 full points, I was cleared for fertility treatments and here I am pregnant in my 6th month waiting for our baby boy! We waited almost 2 years because he did not have me on the correct dosages. Please do your research if your not feeling heard by this office and get your second opinions!!!
