It is worth noting at the time my insurance entitled me to one free cleaning. I scheduled a cleaning. Because my appointment was split (I was asked to come back because a paying customer was waiting). I was early for my appointment. I waited a long time to be brought in, patiently. She was surprised that I haven't looked for someone local in Manhattan. When I find someone who excels in her job; who gives 110% customer service; who creates a warm ambiance, then I stay loyal for life. At 48 years old, I can honestly say that AGNES is the BEST! So unless she moves to NY, I will keep on flying back to Arlington Heights or wherever she will be. She will make your teeth shine like the stars. And the experience is painless. A very complex extraction as these teeth are known to be brittle and the tooth pretty much shattered during the process. Then he discovered an abscess. He removed the tooth, cleaned out the infection and a stitched the surgical site closed. His post operative explanation of expectations proved spot on. I would never hesitate to see Dr. Chin in the future. GO BLUE! Oh, I almost forgot; his staff are awesome and his two assistants during my procedure were obviously trained up well and very professional. AND ... Dr. Chin called me personally the next day to check in and see how I was doing.

I called to make an appointment and was happy to have a choice of two offices- choosing the office near me, located in Water Tower in Chicago. The entire staff is very nice- especially Eva, and Dr. Chin was immediately able to put my mind at ease after examining me and carefully explaining what the abscess most likely was and what the process was to diagnose my issue. I liked that Dr. Chin didn't talk down to me, but made me feel like a partner in the process. After my surgery, (which went as expected for Dr. Chin, but MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED for me- I hardly took any pain meds), I healed very quickly. There was only a bit of unexpected news regarding my tooth underneath the gum which we are watching, but again, I am "partnering" with Dr. Chin in watching the tooth carefully to ensure it's continued viability. Followup appointments went smoothly as well- especially the One during the height of COVID-19 pandemic. As a person with many health problems, I realize that gum care can translate into problems with my diabetes and my heart. I need a sharp professional like Dr. Chin and his wonderful staff on my side to stay healthy for the long run.

While I was visiting my sister who lives in Elk Grove Village, my temporary became loose. It covers over six top front teeth! My sister is a patient of Medical Center Dental Associates. She immediately called and told them of my emergency situation. Initially the receptionist said they were fully booked for several days. She said to hold to see what could be done. After several minutes she advised us that I could come in very early the next morning and Dr. Szatkowski would squeeze me in. I couldn't wait to go the next morning. I was impressed how large and current the office was. The staff and doctor were very nice and within 30 minutes I was back to normal. Thank you to all the staff and doctors for making me enjoy my entire visit. If I was living in the area I would definitely come to this office for my dental needs.

I've used this place for a couple years and they will stab your gums so hard they bleed like crazy and tell you it's your fault. Also your gums will be in pain for 2 weeks after every time as they need to heal from the damage this place causes I also got my wisdom teeth out here and had my stitches fall out under 24 hours leaving a huge hole in my gums. This place refused to restich my gums as they claim "they don't do restiching" and I had to live with a hole in my gums for months until it healed and no they will not give you any more medication once you run out to deal with the pain either. Not the Same Practice Anymore…read more We used to love coming to this office when it was run by Dr. Turnwald and his team. My kids actually enjoyed going to the dentist, and the entire staff was fantastic. About a year ago, I was having tooth pain and called to set up an appointment, and I was pleasantly surprised to get in the same day. However, when I showed up, I found out the entire old staff and Dr. Turnwald had left, and the practice had been sold to a new doctor--without any notice. Even the text and email confirmations still had the old dentist's name, so it was pretty frustrating to show up and find an entirely new staff and doctor. While the new staff was nice and the doctor was okay, the whole experience felt off-putting since I booked the appointment thinking it was still my family's trusted dentist. I also really missed my old hygienist, who always made visits easy for my kids. Honestly, had they been more upfront about the change when I called, it might not have left such a sour taste in my mouth. But now, I drive 30 minutes out of my way to see Dr. Black, where she has her own practice, and it's worth it for the care we receive. Most of the positive Yelp reviews here are for the old practice under Dr. Turnwald, and it says a lot that the entire staff left when he did. We've since followed Dr. Black to new office, and our family is much happier for it.
