For Many years 10 that is I enjoyed having a good fare priced breakfast here. Maybe its inflation, Maybe its Ian! But the prices have gone up twice in 2 years to the point that is not the best deal in town. Winks a great Local favorate, Country Hound, Skillets, are but a few. I was surprised when I got a . I was surprised when I got a 18. bill for 2 eggs hash brown bacon (2 slices) 2 pancakes and unsweetened tea. I would of given fewer stars, But I want to be fair! read more

What a lovely little find. Husband and I went for breakfast. Nice crowd eating delicious food. It has Mexican food but also American breakfast. I had the egg burrito which was filled with scrambled eggs sausage onions and small jalapeños. On the side was sour cream and it was covered in cheese. The whole breakfast was so good. My husband had the breakfast tacos which he enjoyed also. He would have liked rice with his breakfast but they don't serve rice until 11 AM. Both breakfast served with grits or home fries. We enjoyed our breakfast. My husband had a breakfast burrito. He was surprised that it had sauce on it because he thought it was going to be a pick up and eat kind of burrito. I was disappointed with the Mexican breakfast. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. The eggs in my friend's Huevos Rancheros were cooked incorrectly. My quesadilla was lacking cheese and the sausage pieces were minuscule. My husband's Mexican eggs were served with toast instead of tortillas. Worst of all was the "hot" salsa. It was nothing but a cayenne pepper sauce. Very disappointing. I will probably not return. read more

You can tell this place is good by the size of the breakfast crowd in the morning. The breakfasts here are always good. They have an extensive list of choices There is also the Mexican twist on some things like the Spanish omlett which is delicious The service is fast despite the crowd. This is the third or fourth time that I have been to Maria's and I will say I'm always left surprised. I expect it to be dumpy and bland tasting food and it simply is not. I come here on Saturdays when I am visiting my grandparents since they come every Saturday for breakfast. Now my grandparents are older and slow moving so we end up here around 11:30 or 12 so I sometimes get their breakfast some times their lunch options. For breakfast you gotta try one of their omelettes. They are delicious. They also usually have a great special of 2 eggs a meat potatoes and toast for under 4 dollars. But if you are going for lunch and they have their grouper, drop to the floor and praise the lord because you will be surprised and in awe at the amount of good food you are about to get for so cheap. Also you get tortilla chips and salsa, get the hot if you like spice. I could fill up on that salsa alone. I will also say the staff is so sweet whenever I walk in they greet my grandparents and are more than excited to meet me and whoever else is visiting. I'm always disappointed if my visit doesn't include a Saturday where I get to have breakfast here. read more

What an awesome and cheap breakfast spot! We were visiting the area recently and decided to give this place a try for breakfast. We couldn't have been happier. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. The staff was awesome, friendly and attentive. Now on to the most important thing, the food. I had the huevos rancheros with a side of the hot salsa. The dish was amazing and the hot salsa was super hot but delicious. My lady had the breakfast quesadilla which was huge and delicious as well. She could barely eat half but not for a lack of trying. Little place, family run, and not fancy - we have been going there for about 6 years, and it's nice to see them doing so well. Great prices, always a friendly hello when you enter. Went for a late breakfast/early lunch. My wife had pecan pancakes w/ bacon that she said was excellent. I had the carne Asana that was amazing. Not only was it a generous portion but was very tender wit a lot of flavor. The Asana came with grilled onions & peppers, refried beans topped with cheese, salsa, sour cream and Spanish rice. This restaurant is a gem. My absolute favorite for breakfast! The food is always hot and well prepared! They always welcome you when you walk in the door. Just had breakfast here and it was outstanding in value, quality and service. I had the $3.95 special (2 eggs to order, home fries or grits, sausage or bacon and toast), and even adding all the coffee I could drink and a side of gravy, and tax, I got out for only $6.87. They even grilled my biscuit! Eggs were over medium and perfect. Sausage came in links or patties, I took patties. Very clean, very nice atmosphere. Eat on the patio if you like. Service (it was Amanda's first day) was exceptional, and all the wait staff were very friendly and attentive and obviously a very efficient team. They run the special all day, but lunch starts at 11. Great food, great hospitality, lots of positive energy and plenty of options for flavor flavor flavor!! Been here before and will be back soon. read more

This is a great little restaurant that only serves breakfast. Today there was a man playing guitar and singing. Where else can you get that during breakfast? The daily special of 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries or grits and toast for only $3.79 was a great value. The food was quite tasty. I wish my eggs had been cooked a little longer but I didn't ask for them to be well scrambled so that's my fault. The bacon was not crispy though it was ordered that way. FOOD GOOD - SERVICE SLOW - CASH ONLY!!! That last one is a real deal breaker for me, since I almost never carry cash anymore, who does??? But since I was being treated here, I certainly was not about to complain. We were a party of 5 and two of the ladies ordered the CHICKEN CHIMICHANGAS which were served with rice and refried beans. A tiny bit of salsa was given with it, way too little for the size of this food, and besides, it was so watery that it had very little salsa flavor. The wife of my host ordered the BEEF CHIMICHANGA which came with the same sides. She offered me a bite and I was not at all impressed. My host ordered GRILLED CHICKEN WRAP with fries, and since he ate every bite I know he liked it! I wanted the PATTY MELT, of course done MY WAY, which means almost raw, and the first time you could tell it was way overcooked and the waitress took it immediately back to the kitchen. Second one was done to perfection and tasted great, so did the fries. They no longer charge EXTRA for the mayo, which I put on my fries, but they do offer it in packets and I can't open those, but I was prepared and brought my own. read more

Waitress had no patience. Food is over-priced. Breakfast potatoes were half burnt, half undercooked (same dish). Hair found in food, apology from a different waitress...that's it! Bacon order served as 1 & 1/4 (broken up) peices. Asked for toast not buttered. Toast arrived buttered. Advised waitress who quickly grabbed the buttered toast off the plate of food, with her hands, and took it away "shortly" returning with unbuttered toast.
