This review is on service mainly, girl that took order was nice but they dropped the ball, an hour to get four drinks and a combo, the pastries were given at the spot. My fault for being too nice and waiting patiently being that I get it, new establishment but 20 minutes after seeing people get served before us, notifying staff then they tell me, we made it but someone else must have taken it and still had to wait another 30 plus minutes to get items. Coffee was amazing! A tad disappointed that my phone pre order coffee was given away accidentally so I had to wait. Thankfully I had a couple minutes to wait for them to make it. Stopped by on the day of their soft launch (around 10:30 AM) since it's conveniently in the same plaza as my gym. The place was already busy, but the staff taking orders was fast. I ordered a fresa con crema iced latte, chocolate croissants, guava cheese croissants for the family, and a single red velvet concha for myself. The pastries were all delicious. After a slightly longer wait, I received what was clearly not my fresa con crema iced latte (despite the barista checking and sticking the order label on it). I didn't want to hold up the line or cause a scene while juggling the heavy pastry box, so I took it and left. I tried calling later to sort it out, but no one answered the phone. For $6.25 on the drink alone, it was annoying to end up with the wrong one, especially because that same morning, I saw their post on Instagram and went in specifically for that drink. Pastries were the highlight of that visit. The location is super convenient for me. I'll definitely give it another try soon and try other coffee and food options. The Bad: When we went we tried some of their conchas but they were meh. Tasted too weird/artificial for our taste so not even sure if these are traditionally baked like other panaderias I've been to. Their heart sprinkled cookie also just meh. The Good: The horchata latte and Spanish latte were good. Their chorizo con papa burrito was good! I want to go back and try their artisan sandwiches or empanadas. I will say they were playing some good mariachi music. The employees and service was great at this location! read more

New coffee spot in Pico Rivera. This chain is expanding. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking available. Definitely a plus!!!! The team was very helpful and sweet after my first visit. Pastries are fresh and delicious. Drinks are great too!!! I had the cafe de olla hot and my partner had the mazapan latte iced. Drinks aren't too sweet which is good!! Place is clean with plenty of seating available. 2 restrooms but no baby changing stations. Music playing in the background but you can still have a conversation. First time visiting and such a great experience. The gentleman helping us was incredibly friendly and patient while we chose pastries and asked questions. We mentioned it was too late for us to drink coffee, but when we asked about the café de la olla he offered us a small taste so we could try it for next time -- it was amazing!! Was very sad to see they changed the bread for the sandwich :( the chorizo and papa is still solid but I didn't enjoy this one as much as the OG. The dessert's here are all delicious but their coffee isn't very strong. Definitely would recommend this place if you're trying to get something quick. read more

This place just opened this week (wed) and I was excited to try its pastries and coffee. I came a Friday morning around 10:30am. It was busy considering the time. The line went by rather quickly. However, drinks weren't being called loud enough and numerous drinks were in the counter waiting to be picked up-- including mine. The sweet foam was already melting/watery and not creamy. I prefer my iced coffee to actually taste like coffee and it did, but not enough to my liking. The iced cafe de olla reminded me of the Starbucks brown sugar shaken espresso, probably due to the cinnamon. Wish it could have been stronger coffee taste; maybe an extra shot of espresso or two makes it better. The guava cheese croissant wasn't as good as I expected, even after requesting it warmed up. We also tried the tres leches red velvet cake -- oh my; it was so sweet! I'm a sweet tooth myself and found the sweetness overwhelming. Traditional Mexican pan dulce was good, nothing different. Maybe just my taste buds? In addition, Upon entering the small coffee shop; a chill, relaxing, casual ambiance awaits. Everything is very clean. There is ample seating and great natural lightning. The aesthetics are modern Mexican theme and they play mariachi music in the background. We tried Mariachi Bakery for the first time and it did not disappoint! My husband ordered the mazapán frappe with oat milk and no whipped cream, and he loved it. I had the dulce de leche latte (and added a little caramel drizzle from home) it was delicious. The highlight though? The red velvet concha! My one-year-old daughter absolutely loved it! Only got the horchata latte, which was really good, it wasn't too sweet and didn't overpower the espresso. Fast service. This is a great spot to casually sit and do work, there are plugs everywhere, just be mindful that music does play average 80 dB (literally in the name of the bakery lol) so bring your earphones if you're trying to work. read more

Very clean as it's a new business. The place seems very welcoming. I ordered a Regular Latte and Papas con Chorizo burrito. They use a super auto for their espresso. Push the button coffee . The burrito was built behind a small partition. I didn't see or smell anything being cooked. Can only assume it was reheated to serve. I went to their Pico location, I got like 6 items, not busy at all. When I was driving home I opened the box ti take s bite off the conchs and noticed my tres leches was missing. I did call them n let them know. They stated they'll need to pull up the receipt so I waited. They couldn't find my order. They are like you can come back I was like I'm driving home to Anaheim. They said ok I'll keep looking for your order n refund you. They never took my name or number and no refund. read more

One employee spoke to me in a very condescending manner, which left a poor impression and made me decide not to give them my business. Since this is still a new location, I hope management prioritizes customer service training. I've been here a couple of times including the day they opened. Granted, at times they are very busy, with a few employees and a lot of orders. However, they are pretty organized in getting those orders out. I have tried the Abuelita Latte, the Fresas Con Crema Matcha Latte, and the Fresas Con Crema Latte. The Abuelita Latte was a 4/5. Tastes similar to other chocolate abuelita lattes I've tried, but it does have decent flavor if that's what you're craving. It is one of their standard drinks of a signature Mexican flavor. The Fresas Con Crema Matcha Latte is one of the best strawberry matchas I have ever tasted. It's the perfect mix of matcha and strawberry. The strawberry puree is perfect, not too sweet, and not too watery. It didn't taste too umami either which was great! 5/5 The Fresas Con Crema Latte was pretty good. Some espresso with some strawberry flavor, you can't go wrong. It was very creamy and sweet. It did get a little watery after the ice melted (naturally) so you have to drink it fast. 3/5 They have great almond and oat milk alternatives, which is a plus. read more

WOW!!!!!! I loved everything I tried today. The service was amazing the manager introduced himself and was really welcoming. The place is so relaxing and will be my new work office love the AC. I had the Chorizo empanadas, Birria Sandwich I had to get all four sauces and all of them were amazing. I LOVE the cafe de olla and the gansito tres leches.
