I'm so glad I came across this coffee shop! I had never heard of it but I see it had a loyal following. I don't live in the area but shopping brought me to the area and I needed a coffee fix. I was intrigued by the name, impressed by the menu but blown away but the locations and loyal fans of the franchise. I couldn't decide which flavor to go with so I went with flan and dulce de leche. They were both sweet for my tasting but good nonetheless. I can't wait to try more of their offerings when I return next month and hopefully other edible menu items too! The person working the drive thru ordering helped me narrow down what to try and was friendly and patient. The drive thru is a genius idea to keep up with corporate chains. Great spot!

Love Tierra Mia over any coffee place in the area!! Started in library and now I can go to multiple cities and find a location. Favorites are the Strawberry Matcha and Cafecito Cubano. Stores are clean and staff is very nice. Prices are great!

My ADDICTION!!! If you guys Love coffee, you guys have to try this spot! The mazapan and hochata fapp are literally to die for !!!! I literally have to look away when I pass this place because with no hesitation take my ass to the drive thru It's so good. The coffee is not too overpowering. Not too sweet. Not too strong on the coffee. It's just perfect. Every time I go to LA. I always stop here every time! Also, if you guys have kids, I highly recommend the sour Candy lemonade. It's very good. AlSo if you guys have more than one kid what I do is I ask for water cups and I diluted and I split half-and-half, one sour candy, lemonade, half-and-half, with to my kids, and it's enough. The portions are really good. And also the prices are great This is one of my top coffee spots and everything is just so good here. They have a really big menu. And also you guys can adjust the sweetness to liking and they have a little bit of everything. They have bread, coffee, lemonades and more * Quick note if you guys do plan to come to this tierra mia I'm just giving a heads up. The drive-through is so awkwardly wierd. Like the pick up. window is literally on your passenger side and the drive-through is a bit small. So careful when entering.

Back at Tierra Mia! Got an iced pistachio latte this time- so good. Quick service, super sweet cashier. The shop is always cozy.

I usually prefer this Tierra Mia location on a hot summer day--their AC is always cold, and the drive-thru keeps seating inside open, which I love. Drink-wise, I go for the matcha horchata--sweet and bold. Their regular matcha latte doesn't quite hit like the ones from Japanese bakeries, but the horchata version makes up for it. don't drink coffee anymore, but I remember their caficito Cubano con leche being sweet and strong--just how I liked it. And it's perfectly order hot on a cold winter day. Bonus: Parking has never been an issue.so event it's a little out of the way, I still come here... The restroom smells... that's why 4 stars

The Tres Leches muffin is STILL so yummy. Get this if you haven't already. Make sure it's warmed up too. They have a lot of drink options and the cashier did a great job explaining some of her favorites and which ones are sweeter or more coffee forward. This time I went with the Coco Loco Latte (iced) and I really enjoyed it. This place can get really busy. The drive through is a great option but always packed. Faster if you go inside but still a wait.

The staff here are great and do an amazing job with holiday decorations.

So, I was visiting my daughter and my son-in-law .He recommended this place. I usually go to Starbucks but he said it was delicious so here I am. It's around 5:30 in the evening and there is a long line but it is moving quickly. I desperately needed some espresso so that I could make it home on my long commute. I ordered an iced espresso and had it customized because I like sugar-free options plus l wanted to try their cheese danish. Everything was good and my coffee I needed to add more sugar-free vanilla. Because it is so strong but it will suit its purpose. Everything was good and I want to try the Cuban style coffee next. Thank you I hope to see you all soon in the future.

Yum, yum, yum! It was my first time trying out Tierra Mia and I am obsessed! My dad suggested coming here as he really liked them. I had the Mazapan Peanut Frappe and he had the Mexican Mocha. Both drinks were exceptional! It gets pretty busy here, especially the drive thru, but they do a good overall job at taking care of everyone. The iced strawberry matcha looked so good! I can't wait to be near the area to try them out again. So happy we will be getting on in Oceanside soon!

Parking at this Tierra Mia is limited to 3 hours - more than you'll need - but one misleading part is the "Drive-In / Drive-Thru" part in some of their signage. Thankfully, this wasn't just a drive-thru but also had ample seating on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered my usual iced latte, and I would say it's pretty standard across most Tierra Mias - tasty! This location also has Wi-Fi, which makes it a great local study / meeting spot. One area of improvement I hope that they make is the restroom system. There are two gender inclusive restrooms that have keys that are color coded, but the restrooms were not. Imagine trying to peacefully mind your own business, but then all of a sudden out of nowhere someone frantically jams a key and wobbles that doornob like a Magnitude 10.0 earthquake. By the 10th jiggle, something more than my heart had dropped, and I was mentally preparing for someone to walk in on me... *guh*

Is the dining area open till 1am?

Do you carry travelers? Coffee jugs for parties? Trying to call no one answers.

Do they offer non-dairy milk choices?

    Yes

Is there wifi that is opened to the public?

    No.

Is it loud or really busy on a sunday evening inside?

    Yes.

Are they able to make any of the drinks decaf? I love their coffee and I've been raving to my abuelita to try it but she cannot do caffeine due to her high blood pressure . Anyone ever had a decaf from here?

I just got an horchata latte decaf last night! It has to be the hot kind though. It was yummy and doesn't taste like decaf at all!

Do they offer non-dairy milk options?

The horchata frap can't be made with almond or soy because it is premixed but you can get an horchata latte with almond or soy milk. I also asked for half a pump instead of the 1.5 it come with and it still good.

The earlier you come, the more dessert options you'll have. They also have all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu which I did not try, but everything looked super tasty. I got a few desserts and a matcha strawberry foam latte (they use ceremonial grade matcha) and the biscoff latte. Loved that both weren't overly sweet and the biscoff latte had a rich coffee taste. My favorite dessert by far was the banana mousse. By the time we left, the line was out the door. Even though it was packed, the servers are super friendly and take the time to make sure you're enjoying yourself. Definitely a must try place if you're in Downey. No need to go to LA to try those over hyped dessert places. One Twelve Cafe does it just as good, if not better and they have many more tasty options to choose from.

I was in the area and I've never had a cute coffee with the latte art (so many of my friends are going to roast me for this) When I pulled up -nice private parking -a staff member was outside painting on the windows with the cutest window art. The girl had talent! This place has also given back. They helped with the LA fires last year. So bonus points for places who give back. (They gave back to the Pasadena humane society) There was a pretty big line and it was pretty loud in here, but it went by very fast. My friend grabbed a table while I placed the order. -they do have a good amount of seating. The place is pretty small though. So we sat for a minute after our drinks came out and then decided to take it to go -they have latte art that changes every month. So I like they have some rotating options. It was my turn and I ordered two sugar free mocha iced coffees. One with regular foam, And mine had strawberry foam. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. So I appreciate him warning us and taking it serious. I picked the new hello kitty art of the month (hello kitty in a bathing suit with waves and dolphins) And my friend picked from the new monthly latte art as well, and got the Kirby character Even though it was busy, it took probably 2 minutes for our drinks to be made Matthew was absolutely great. His energy, he had a smile on his face, was knowledgeable about the menu, Matthew was everything you'd want in a staff member. Just like any coffee place, you pay and give them a name for your order, and then they call your name and you pick up your coffee at the counter. These drinks hit the spot!!! It was very trendy. They had Sabrina carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo specials and they even had a Lana Del Rey latte (cinnamon girl, named after her song) only thing that bummed me out They had a case with delicious pastries. But since I came here later in the day, they only had a couple stragglers left behind -they open at 7 am, for everyone needing their morning coffee -vegan options -free WiFi -woman owned -LGBTQ owned -they give back to the community

Today I learned I don't really like the flavor of banana leaf that gets absorbed into the tamal. Also, it was primarily made of rice. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The espresso was rich and flavorful, while the caramel added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the drink. I also loved that they use coffee ice cubes, it kept the latte from getting watered down, and honestly, I thought it tasted even better as it sat. The staff was friendly, and our drinks came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The only downside was the atmosphere. It's a very small shop with seating for maybe 20 people inside, plus 4 small two-person tables outside (without any shade). When we visited, almost everyone else was working on laptops, so it didn't feel like the best place to sit and chat. The music was also fairly loud and mostly K-pop, which didn't really match the coffee shops aesthetic and made conversation a little more difficult. Parking was probably my biggest complaint. There are only four dedicated parking spots, and the surrounding residential street parking was completely packed. I ended up parking in the chicken restaurant's lot across the street. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee, it was genuinely one of the better iced caramel lattes I've had. If you're looking to grab a quality drink to go, I'd highly recommend it. Just be prepared for limited seating and a challenging parking situation.
