Spanish banana latte with oat milk half sweet
    Crystal K.

Saw this pop up on my Instagram feed and everything looked so delicious. I was so excited to try it as it's right around the corner! We tried a couple of different things: - baguette sandwich - empanada - empanada burrito box combo - vanilla concha - cheese rolls - guava croissant - Spanish latte with whole milk - Spanish banana latte with oatmilk and mazapanes cold foam half sweet - mazapán latte with oat milk half sweet My favorites were the lattes - half sweet was perfect. Super delicious The food was piping hot and delicious. My favorites were the baguette sandwich and the puff pastry for the empanadas were buttery, light and crispy while the filling was hot. The sauces topped off the food perfectly. They offer two types of sauces: spicy and mild. I think the cheese rolls were pretty good and better than Porto's and I don't usually like cheese rolls. Overall recommend. There's some seating available inside to enjoy and chill. Spacious parking lot

New bakery in the valley which took over the Starbucks location. Apparently they have other locations, but this is the first in the valley. Really friendly staff, acknowledging you as you walk in and leave. It was busy when we got there but service was very fast. Lots of interesting drink options and they all sounded good so it was hard to choose. I went with the fresas con crema matcha and asked for it to be less sweet. My husband got the dolce de letche latte along with a chocolate croissant. I went for the tinga empanada. There are tables inside. The matcha was good but a little watered down for my liking. The coffee was good though but you definitely have to get it less sweetened. The star for me was the empanada, 5/5! It was flaky, flavorful and had a little kick to it, especially with the salsa on the side! Will be back to try all the other drink options!!

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, but it was just too far. Now that they opened a location in Reseda, I had to check it out! There were so many drinks to choose from. Even though there was a line, it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the Mazapán Cold Brew, Flan Cold Brew, Horchata, and the Spanish Banana Latte. I also picked up a couple of pastries to try. Here's my honest review: I only got to take a few sips of the Horchata and the Mazapán Cold Brew, and they were just okay. The Flan Cold Brew tasted more like caramel than flan. But let me tell you--the Spanish Banana Latte was so good! It had a strong coffee flavor with just the right amount of banana. That one was definitely my favorite. Would I go back? Maybe! If you've been here before, let me know which drink would absolutely blow my mind. Overall, the service was great, everyone was friendly, and the place was very clean.

I had a Jamaica tea and added a little limonada.

What a nice change! It's a Mexican themed coffee shop . The staff is lovely. I like the decor too. There's lots of pan dulce and other bakery items. And they were playing classic Spanish music, the kind my parents listened to.

I had the best time trying out the newly opened Mariachi Bakery in Reseda! It truly felt like a hidden gem and little slice of Mexico. They were playing great music & although I ordered tons of baked goods & food, everything came out extremely fast. The coffees were absolutely delicious & unique & the pan dulce selection was amazing. My favorite was probably the Niño Envuelto! There's plenty of space to sit & it's a very large cafe overall. I had such a great time here & would love to visit again soon.

This was my first introduction to Mariachi Bakery and it was great! The staff is super friendly, and I loved the decor of the place. I knew I loved it the moment I stepped in and heard Mariachi music playing. I also got excited seeing the pan dulce display. Yes, a little pricier than Vallarta's pan Dulce but you're also in a coffee shop. The prices for the bread are far less expensive than getting a $6 lemon slice from Starbucks... just sayin' I asked the young lady what she recommended, I was told the Spanish latte and the churro latte. I obviously went with the Horchata latte but only because I was curious. I will be back to try her recommendations though! I asked for the Horchata latte iced. It wasn't too sweet which was good and it tasted pretty heavenly. It wasn't over powered by cinnamon just the right hint. Overall, great experience. The pan dulce was soft and tasty and the ice coffee hit, for me at least. Come check it out! I think there's something for everyone. Or just come check out the wall art and listed to the mariachi music.

10/10 Customer service: professional staff, they make an effort to acknowledge the customer and are attentive when ordering. Cleanliness: The inside is clean and well kept. Ambience: Calm, casual , great atmosphere to meet a friend or just chill and enjoy a tasty treat. Really, the only con would be the bathroom. It could have been more kept. It was a Sunday and they were not that busy. There was No toilet paper and hand napkins left near sink and toilet. This is minor con. I'm sure it's clean otherwise. I leave this review with-it's a rarity to come across a place like this. So check it out.

Great service, friendly, clean and easy to navigate.... However, drinks are a bit too sweet. Not sure you can customize it, wasn't available on ordering from kiosk.

I really enjoyed this place! I had heard mixed reviews beforehand, but my experience was a good one. The Spanish latte and conchita were both delicious. The wait was a bit long, but that's completely understandable since it's a new spot and we visited on the weekend. I also loved the overall theme and atmosphere, it has such a great vibe. I'll definitely be back to give it another try!

I've been to this place before at their South Gate location and I really enjoyed it. I was very excited to find out that they opened a San Fernando Valley location, conveniently down the street from my house. I ordered a Tres leches cold foam cold brew and a Duvalin cold foam cold brew. Both were very good, I ordered them with half sweetener and they were perfect. The Duvalin has a great chocolate flavor topped with a strawberry cold foam. The Tres Leches cold foam on top of my second drink was also very tasty. The cold brew is pretty strong as well. It's a very nice place inside, I love the decor on the wall and it has a lot of seating inside. I used the self serve kiosk because the line was kind of long which was awesome. The service was fast and the staff were great. I didn't have anything to eat at this location but I have had the food from the other location and it did not disappoint.

The concha was fresh and tasty.
    Mark F.

Had to try this place. Saw a huge line yesterday. The place is very clean. The selection was a little sparse. I went when they first open, so I thought everything would be fresh. Sadly, a couple of the pastries felt hard, while others were soft, fresh and tasty.

    TJ L.

This café was clean and had a nice vibe, but wow, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear a word the server said while we were in line, which made ordering frustrating. I went with the horchata matcha latte on a staff member's recommendation (a guy behind the counter suggested it) and really enjoyed it, but my husband's dulce de leche latte missed the mark entirely, he said it didn't taste like dulce de leche at all. The ham and cheese croissant was just average, nothing memorable. On the plus side, they do have self-service kiosks for ordering, and the place started filling up right as we left, so it's clearly popular. We'd probably come back to try the pastries though, they looked amazing in the display case, and hopefully next time the music will be at a more reasonable level.

Chunks of ice on my blended drink
    Janet T.

Was very excited to try this place but yesterday I was very disappointed I got a horchata blended frappe and i expected a blended drink not a half blended drink , it had chunks of full ice in my drink and it wasn't satisfied to drink not to mention the bread that was very hard and not good expected more don't think I'll be coming back.

The shop is located in a plaza with decent parking spots. I can imagine on a busy day it can be hard to park here! Which was already a good start to our experience since Laidrey has terrible parking (no offense). I love Laidrey but wanted to give a chance to a place I haven't tried before. Upon entrance, we were greeted with a warm and pleasant "good morning!" The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The cashier/barista was the sweetest girl who gave me helpful tips on what to get. There was an older gentlemen who walked us through on the different pastries. He told us what to get warmed up and what would taste good with the coffee. I'm so glad the staff had actual good tips because man was everything DELICIOUS. The potato croquette I had was mind blowing! It was savory with hints of cumin and a little bit of spice which you can't really get something like this at regular coffee shops. My FAVORITE! The sweetened puff pastry with cheese felt decadent and good with the coffee but boy did it fill me up immediately! The savory feta pastry was something my husband ordered which he seemed to really like but wasn't a personal favorite of mine. The Spiced Mexican Mocha was smooth and creamy. My husband ordered this and it was perfectly up to his speed! I ordered "The Sam" which is a salted vanilla oat latte. I was so excited because it already had oat milk in it! This latte was absolutely incredible and she even added the aesthetic foam art heart to it. Overall, the environment was wholesome and it's a very spacious shop. Not too loud or crowded for me. I would definitely come back and maybe even do some office work here while enjoying my potato croquette!!

I think this spot is a good place to study, there's nice and relaxing music playing at a good volume but I think that you need to make sure your devices are fully charged because there are no outlets here. Overall a solid place to do work because of the AC especially on a hot day and the vanilla ice blended drink I got was very creamy and at the right texture and thickness!! It was nice to come here for the first time and definitely will be in my radar if I'm in the area. To use the bathroom, you need a code. In a location with an ever-shifting number of street people who may occasionally cause grief, all condiments are kept behind the counter, which needles the personal customization experience a touch (though it's understandable). Coffee here (which I always get iced) is robustly flavored without being bitter. Though I'm not the kind of aficionado others may claim to be, even I can appreciate this Java is far better than what's being served at Starbucks. However, food items are lagging far behind. The Cheddar & Jalapeño Croissant, previously pretty well-packed with cheese and peppers and sporting a goodly hit of heat, has been revamped and replaced by a dry, very mass-produced crescent with hardly any cheese or peppers, and no spice; really, barely any flavor at all, spicy or not. Other breakfast items on display failed to ignite much of a spark in me, and their version of a McMuffin looked especially unappealing in its display case packaging. So, the food is a bit of a bust, but the coffee is top notch, and the cafe areas are comfortable and well lit. Add in the free WiFi, and this is a good place to relax, chat with friends, watch a game or do some work. Maybe just sneak in a cruller from Winchell's across the street to go with your cup of Joe.
