I've been here a few times since they've opened. First few times it was a bit hectic and full but I think they've gotten into the flow of things now. I ordered a hot cafe de olla (sooo happy to have a spot nearby that has this on the menu!) and it was great. I also ordered a breakfast empanada this morning with green salsa and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The empanada was flaky on the outside and warm on the inside. It comes with scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, and melted cheese inside (so good!) There's a kiosk available to place an order or you can order at the register in the front. It's a small space but they have a few tables available- with very comfortable seating I might add- for anyone who would like to enjoy their coffee inside or even work remotely for a while. It's not the quietest to work from, the music is a bit loud but if you just need to quickly catch up on a few emails it's perfect. Anyhow, glad to have this bakery in the area. I started off here for my morning coffee. It was very busy on Saturday so just be aware and be patient on the weekends. Parking: 10/10 in a shopping center, so plenty of parking available! Service 10/10! You have two options, you can either order through kiosk or register, I opted for the register . There was no line to order. The young lady behind the register was very nice, and patient. Answered all questions! Ambiance: the inside is beautiful!' Makes me so proud of the owners ! And so proud to represent our culture! The seating: honestly not a lot, because it was so packed if you order food you have to make sure to grab a seat as soon as someone gets up. Once we ordered, it took 20 min for the drinks and 30 min for the burrito. So during this time we got lucky and were able to grab a seat. Food: 9/10 : we ordered a dulce de leche cheesecake latte, if you like sweet drinks I highly recommend. SOOOO GOOOD Churro latte: if you don't like your drinks sweet this is a perfect balance. Concha: the conchas are delicious and can never go wrong with one. Breakfast burrito: $9 and honestly it's rather skinny. I mean for $9 I guess you get what you pay for. But it was good! The reason it's a 9/10 is because like my previous post these dang lids! Don't try sipping your drinks from the lids, they spill. I visited for the first time a few days ago and tried the Horchata Cold Brew. As a coffee enthusiast, I love a good balance of coffee flavor with a hint of sweetness, and the ratio was spot on. I came back for the Horchata Latte, which was a little too sweet for my taste, but the Cold Brew with Horchata Foam was exactly what I was looking for--bold, smooth, and flavorful. Saw this pop up on my Instagram feed and everything looked so delicious. I was so excited to try it as it's right around the corner! We tried a couple of different things: - baguette sandwich - empanada - empanada burrito box combo - vanilla concha - cheese rolls - guava croissant - Spanish latte with whole milk - Spanish banana latte with oatmilk and mazapanes cold foam half sweet - mazapán latte with oat milk half sweet My favorites were the lattes - half sweet was perfect. Super delicious The food was piping hot and delicious. My favorites were the baguette sandwich and the puff pastry for the empanadas were buttery, light and crispy while the filling was hot. The sauces topped off the food perfectly. They offer two types of sauces: spicy and mild. I think the cheese rolls were pretty good and better than Porto's and I don't usually like cheese rolls. New bakery in the valley which took over the Starbucks location. Apparently they have other locations, but this is the first in the valley. Really friendly staff, acknowledging you as you walk in and leave. It was busy when we got there but service was very fast. Lots of interesting drink options and they all sounded good so it was hard to choose. I went with the fresas con crema matcha and asked for it to be less sweet. My husband got the dolce de letche latte along with a chocolate croissant. I went for the tinga empanada. There are tables inside. The matcha was good but a little watered down for my liking. The coffee was good though but you definitely have to get it less sweetened. The star for me was the empanada, 5/5! It was flaky, flavorful and had a little kick to it, especially with the salsa on the side! Will be back to try all the other drink options!! read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, but it was just too far. Now that they opened a location in Reseda, I had to check it out! There were so many drinks to choose from. Even though there was a line, it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the Mazapán Cold Brew, Flan Cold Brew, Horchata, and the Spanish Banana Latte. I also picked up a couple of pastries to try. Here's my honest review: I only got to take a few sips of the Horchata and the Mazapán Cold Brew, and they were just okay. The Flan Cold Brew tasted more like caramel than flan. But let me tell you--the Spanish Banana Latte was so good! It had a strong coffee flavor with just the right amount of banana. That one was definitely my favorite. Would I go back? Maybe! I had the best time trying out the newly opened Mariachi Bakery in Reseda! It truly felt like a hidden gem and little slice of Mexico. They were playing great music & although I ordered tons of baked goods & food, everything came out extremely fast. The coffees were absolutely delicious & unique & the pan dulce selection was amazing. My favorite was probably the Niño Envuelto! There's plenty of space to sit & it's a very large cafe overall. This was my first introduction to Mariachi Bakery and it was great! The staff is super friendly, and I loved the decor of the place. I knew I loved it the moment I stepped in and heard Mariachi music playing. I also got excited seeing the pan dulce display. Yes, a little pricier than Vallarta's pan Dulce but you're also in a coffee shop. The prices for the bread are far less expensive than getting a $6 lemon slice from Starbucks... just sayin' I asked the young lady what she recommended, I was told the Spanish latte and the churro latte. I obviously went with the Horchata latte but only because I was curious. I will be back to try her recommendations though! I asked for the Horchata latte iced. It wasn't too sweet which was good and it tasted pretty heavenly. It wasn't over powered by cinnamon just the right hint. Overall, great experience. The pan dulce was soft and tasty and the ice coffee hit, for me at least. Come check it out! I think there's something for everyone. 10/10 Customer service: professional staff,they make an effort to acknowledge the customer and are attentive when ordering. Cleanliness: The inside is clean and well kept. Ambience: Calm, casual , great atmosphere to meet a friend or just chill and enjoy a tasty treat. Really, the only con would be the bathroom. It could have been more kept. It was a Sunday and they were not that busy. There was No toilet paper and hand napkins left near sink and toilet. This is minor con. I'm sure it's clean otherwise. I was honestly so excited to try Mariachi Bakery. My son got the cookies and cream frappé, I got the mango hibiscus iced tea, and my husband got the mazapán cold brew. We also ordered some conchas, a chorizo con papa sandwich, and another sandwich. Unfortunately, they were out of the birria, which was one of the things we were looking forward to trying. My husband enjoyed his drink, but everything else was pretty mid, especially for the price. We spent around $60, and honestly, it just didn't feel worth it. The customer service also wasn't the best, although they did just open about a month ago, so maybe they're still working out some of the kinks. I really wanted to love this place because the concept is so cute, but overall, the experience was just okay. read more

It's so great to have Mariachi Bakery in our neighborhood. When that last place close their doors, it left a hole in our neighborhood for coffee. Luckily they did close their doors because we got this charming local coffee shop with amazing pastries, great coffee, and a really friendly vibe. And the prices are so reasonable. I love that I now have a place where I can walk to get coffee with my dog. I would recommend the café de Ola and don't skip this sweet cream that has a hint of cinnamon. When you walk out the door, the staff says see you next time and I will definitely see them soon. read more

I've been to this place before at their South Gate location and I really enjoyed it. I was very excited to find out that they opened a San Fernando Valley location, conveniently down the street from my house. I ordered a Tres leches cold foam cold brew and a Duvalin cold foam cold brew. Both were very good, I ordered them with half sweetener and they were perfect. The Duvalin has a great chocolate flavor topped with a strawberry cold foam. The Tres Leches cold foam on top of my second drink was also very tasty. The cold brew is pretty strong as well. It's a very nice place inside, I love the decor on the wall and it has a lot of seating inside. I used the self serve kiosk because the line was kind of long which was awesome. The service was fast and the staff were great. I didn't have anything to eat at this location but I have had the food from the other location and it did not disappoint. read more

This café was clean and had a nice vibe, but wow, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear a word the server said while we were in line, which made ordering frustrating. I went with the horchata matcha latte on a staff member's recommendation (a guy behind the counter suggested it) and really enjoyed it, but my husband's dulce de leche latte missed the mark entirely, he said it didn't taste like dulce de leche at all. The ham and cheese croissant was just average, nothing memorable. On the plus side, they do have self-service kiosks for ordering, and the place started filling up right as we left, so it's clearly popular. We'd probably come back to try the pastries though, they looked amazing in the display case, and hopefully next time the music will be at a more reasonable level. read more

Drove past this place and decided to check it out. The name drew me in, lol. It was a Sunday morning 8am and there was already a long line. However, the line does move quickly. The staff were nice and helpful. I ordered a Mexican concha and an iced Cafè de Olla. The concha was super delicious. The Cafè de Olla was to sweet and had lots of cinnamon. I'll try the hot Cafè de Olla next time. The place is clean. Has a nice look to it. It's inside a shopping center, there's plenty of parking. This place just opened up a few days ago. Online orders, placed my order ahead as I know they are super busy.. 1028am and it's now 1102 and my order was not ready the person at the counter indicated my order wasn't ready and might be someone took my order even though she was the one giving out the orders. Wanted to try this place since I saw it on IG... not impressed with the baked goods. The conchas looked appetizing, but sadly found out they had no flavor and tasted "dense" and dry. Conchas are my favorite pan dulce. They're supposed to be light airy like & flavorful. I had the tinga empanada, chicken was very chewy, not tender at all. The birria empanada didn't taste like birria at all. The strawberry hibiscus drink tasted watered down. Will not go back. Staff was the only good thing. read more
