Their specials include a habanero enchiladas (3) with perfect spicy, beautiful presentation and good portion of food. Service is friendly and attentive. Just what we expected! Great service and good food. I didn't get anything out of the ordinary. Some fresh made relleno and tamales. Solid mexican food. The owner/server went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Even mixed up some sweet rice milk with cinammon and sugar for our son who asked for chocolate milk. Food was good. Stopped in for lunch driving through on I-40. Had a Chicken Burrito and a Taco Salad which were both good but nothing out of the ordinary. Surprised to see a 12.5% tax on the bill. Very nice surprise finding this place driving through on our way west. We checked it out here on Yelp and that made our decision to eat here. The waitress was awesome! My wife and I split beef & chicken fajitas. They came out with the usual rice and beans, salad, pico, guacamole and sour cream. The fajitas were still sizzling and the meat was very thinly sliced which was awesome. The flavor was very good and the portion size was huge, even for the "double" order for 2. I asked for salsa picosa and she brought me out two types. The red was very spicy which I love but only when the flavor is good. This sauce was simply hot to be hot without the great flavor. The green "tomatillo" salsa was the roasted type and had a good burn to it with great flavor. I was very happy with this one. We will definitely stop here again when driving through and looking for a "Mexican" food fix. The prices were great too! This is a dry county so don't expect a margarita. First visit tonight while passing thru town. Excellent service (speedy although not super friendly) and food. Salsa was tasty and mild enough for my mother - who is spicy sensitive - to enjoy. I had the tacos juan, my Dad chicken enchiladas and my Mom 2 crunchy tacos ala carte. Low price and high quality for all. To spice things up I ordered a side of grilled jalapenos. Shew! This review is all about the shrimp. I'm from South Texas and should have known better than to order a shrimp dish is a small Arkansas town. I reluctantly succumbed to Mexican food here because of the limited restaurant choices. I saw enchiladas and other Mexican dishes on other diners' plates that looked appetizing. However, my wife's and my shrimp dishes also looked good. They weren't, though. The shrimp was apparently of the pre-boiled and frozen variety, was mushy, had an odor and a bad aftertaste. On the other hand, if I was rating friendly service, the rating would be a 4. The chips, salsa, rice and other condiments were good enough to rate a 3+. read more

Dry county, so if you want a beer or a margarita, you will not get it here ! I'm only rating it a 3 because the people I was with had an "okay" plate of food. One said his was bland, but tolerable. The other enjoyed his. However, I ordered carne tacos and well, I got two slaps of steak (cooked well done that was so dry I couldn't swallow it. No flavor. Rice was extremely bland, the chips had a burnt taste to them and the salsa was salty and tasted like pizza sauce with some jalapeños to it! The waitress wasn't very friendly, we had to get up and ask for forks and straws. This place to me isn't Mexican food, I told the people I was with that Taco Bell has better service and flavor. There ar only a few options in town this place McDonald's and BK. I chose this place. I was seated quickly and served my drink fairly quick. I place my order and was delivered what they call chili Colorado. It was the worst chili Colorado I've ever had. The meat was crispy (cooked to hard) and the "chili" tasted like the mole paste you buy at the store. There was no flavor. Once I got my food I never saw the waiter again.
