First i want to question some of the negative reviews. I think they got the wrong place. There is no hotel, there is no outside seating. Inside is plenty of seating. Inside only. Booths and tables. Always clean. Service has been the main positive draw for us. Yes, there may be some language barriers, but waitstaff have always been awesome. Food is good. This is a regular stomping ground for us. We have our favorite servers who make our drinks just right and will make sure our orders come out how we want them. Not all the servers are consistent with making drinks. The food is fine, likewise we stick with what we enjoy and don't adventure much. But the salmon dish is great and we all love the mariachi dip. The chips and salsa are good, I've had better and worse. It's in a convenient location and better than some other Mexican restaurants in the area. Prices are also reasonable. read more

In addition to the tasty food, the salsa and chips are so good here. Be prepared, the margaritas are delicious, strong and oversized so be sure to plan accordingly to designate a DD. Mariachi's is worth the drive to Millstadt for some yummy quesadillas. We've always had good service and the food arrives hot and fresh. We go here 1-2 times a year. I have family that lives near. They do have a nice outside area to eat/drink at. Service is good. Chips, salsa and queso are good. Food and Margaritas are not good. I will usually get the Cadillac Margarita. I tried to get an upgrade {top shelf premium) but she actually suggested the Cadillac because it was their special. If you go I would get their Wings. We have one person in our group that will always get their wings and they are good. read more

If you're looking for a place to enjoy a massive margarita on the IL side, then Mariachi's is the spot for you! My go to is the jalapeño margarita. As far as I know this is not on the menu but I just can't get enough spice and it's fantastic every time. Try it out! I've been to this location a handful of times now and the beef chimi has become my "usual". The beef is so well seasoned! If you're not into the chimi, My boyfriend recommends the enchiladas. App wise..The cheese dip is on point and the salsa is great. The service is lightning fast, and the staff remembers their regulars. The indoor seating is ample, but if you prefer some fresh air, their patio is a great option. Plus, they have plenty of space for large groups. Ps-they have a gambling room attached with slot machines. So, after you've stuffed yourself with some tasty Mexican food and a few margaritas, you can try your luck at the slots. read more

Located in a corner strip mall, there is plenty of parking available. It's pretty easy to find if you know where you are going. Just look for the big Lee's Hardware store and it's across the side street. We were greeted immediately on entering and seated within a few minutes. Our server took our drink order and returned after maybe five minutes. This included getting several margaritas, so the bar staff was very quick as well. Our food took no more than ten minutes to be brought to the table. The carnitas were excellent. Very flavorful and moist. The nachos were also very good and was a huge serving. The margaritas were above average and certainly added to the overall meal experience. All the staff was pleasant and friendly, and our dining experience was very good. read more

We have been coming here for a while now. This place is nowhere near where we live, but we still go as much as possible. By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. We really enjoy the fajita burrito and get this every time we go. We recently tried the individually topped nachos and those were really good too. Chip and salsa are always really good, too. Mariachi's definitely makes the best margarita. The Cadillac Margarita is AMAZING. Well made and tastes delicious. All the staff is very friendly. Palon (Sexy Mexican) is hilarious. First of all, a mouse kept running under our feet while eating and we were told "they are from the hotel". My daughter got the wrong order food TWICE and they never fixed it, just left her with the wrong meal. Both fajita chicken meat was cold for my friends and rubbery like it was reheated. After asking for a more generous discount than the few dollars they originally took off ($6 off) one server snapped and said "well we can't take whole ticket off for you". How about finally fixing my poor daughters meal and letting her have it to go (she ordered a chicken quesadilla, she got fajitas instead, they took it back and brought out a steak quesadilla... The "Arroz Con Pollo" was good except it didn't come out as one big chicken breast like everywhere else I have ever eaten. It came out cut into pieces. Was it one chicken breast or not even a whole breast? Not sure. However , it was very overpriced for what I received. It tasted great but not sure it was worth the money read more

Went to celebrate my birthday dinner and our server was extremly rude. We had to ask 3 different times for queso and guacamole for our chips. On the 3rd ask he said "he knew". When we finally ordered and got our food my steak was undercooked and had to ask him to please refill my pepsi. He refilled it about 3/4's full. According to the regulars on your birthday they sing to you and give you a whip cream pie. Granted they pie you but was kinda looking forward to it. I didnt get it. Very good food and even better service. My husband and I much prefer this Mariachis to the location in Belleville. The atmosphere is much nicer and the service is great! We try to sit on the patio if the weather is nice. Their salsa is very good and our entrees are typical of a Mexican restaurant, but still very good. The last two times we've been the server recognized us and remembered what we last ordered. He was also attentive and friendly. We will be back soon! read more

Extremely extremely rude waiter that just slammed down our drinks and queso both of which spilled on the table and nothing was done about it/no apology given. Never came to check up on us ever. Discovered this place on accident. It's in a little strip shopping center and, from the outside, doesn't look like much. Inside it looks like a classic family run Mexican restaurant with a full bar and fairly good margaritas. The salsa tastes very fresh and they are not stingy with refills! First time at Mariachi's and first time making a review but this place deserves it. We stumbled on this place because the restaurant we planed to go to had closed. 13 in our extended family, looking for a place to eat and visit on a Sunday afternoon. Our server, Moses, seated us and got our drinks immediately(excellent Margaritas). Chips and salsa never ending plus a bonus white cheese dip that we loved.
