If you're looking for a gigantic thrift store with tons and tons of stuff, offered for great prices, Super Thrift is your place. This store is gigantic! It's a very large warehouse style structure, filled to the rafters with all kinds of everything. Plus, as stated, they have really great prices on their items. The main thing this thrift store focuses on is clothing. They have tons and tons of it. If you're looking for anything for a man, woman, child, you can probably find it here. They have suits, they have shirts, they have pants, they have dresses, plus they have tons of shoes. Some of the stuff you will find here is really not only on the scale of luxury, but truly unique. That's what I really like about this place, a lot of the stuff you can find here is really unique items, the kind you may not even know that you want until you see it. They also have other things for sale. They have a lot of electronic items, furniture, household items, and a little bit of everything else. You truly never know what you're going to find. That's probably the greatest thing about going to the shop. In terms of parking, if you can, I suggest you park in front of this business, on the street. That's the easiest way to get in the front door. If you can't do that, you'll need to park in their back parking lot. From there, you'll need to walk a fair distance to get up to the front of the store, past all of their warehousing and donation centers where you will pass by and tons and tons of stuff that they've acquired and they're gonna put up for sale. Thus, if you want to see a real unique collection of a whole lot of stuff, then park in their back parking lot, because as you walked to the front of the building what you will see will be very revealing. Parking is in the back - the street is narrow and spots are limited, especially on Wednesdays because they have a good deal, 25% off from 8am-2pm. Store has plenty of rows of clothes, plus a separate kids' section. I found a nice Dooney and Burke purse for gifting, a new throw pillow cover, and some dress pants. Prices are great for most items, though I did see a few pieces priced over $100 plus because of the label. Paying in cash is better since they charge 4% fee for card payments. which my cashier didn't mention, I could have saved more. The staff that works here are the MOST disconnected people I've ever experienced in my life. Especially the older women. Today I was harassed by an older man at this establishment while I was trying on clothes. When I went to the front to report it only the young cashier seemed to care and went to the back to inform someone. I then asked if someone could walk me to my car because I was scared that the man was waiting for me. They literally said no, wouldn't even make eye content with me. This when brings me back to 2023 when I was shopping here and very old man was having a stroke, not a SINGLE employee went to help him or call the police or anything. I was the only one in the establishment that was doing something, was making sure the man was on his side while he was seizing, holding pressure over the part of his head that gushing out blood from the fall. The staff is so disgustingly disconnect. And how despicable that they play gospel/christian music here, when literally satan resides there. read more

They are overflowing with donations, which is a good thing. I would come back to shop for clothes but it doesn't seem like the type of thrift store that has collectibles and treasures. This place is amazing! If you are ok with praise music... this massive thrift store is unabashedly Christian. An unapologetically filled with well priced quality goods! I found amazing high fashion gowns from hand beaded to decked with sequins that fit like a glove! To a barely touched pair of roller skates in my size for $25 they retail for $80. There was so much to choose from and it's all great stuff! The service was great, they have a discount based on the color of the price tag, others in the store were kind, courteous, and hyped the fashion! my daughter and I happen to be in the area. We wanted to go find some thrift stores.. we happen upon this one had never been there before so it's kind of awkward too. Try to figure out where to park. Come to find out. You have to drive all the way in the back of the store and walk kind of a long way to get to the front, but once you're inside, there's tons of clothes many many racks to choose from everything's pretty organized in categories pants skirts, blouses men's women's children. They have a few knickknacks and some furniture in the back, but it's mostly clothes and shoes. They only had one person checking out at the front so I was in line for about 15- 20 minutes. Finally, another employee came when he saw the line was getting pretty long. That particular day, we didn't find any clothes, but we did find really cool mid-century modern piece. Everything has staples in the front of it! Leather jackets, shirts, dresses, all with staples and therefore holes by the neck or on the lapel. Shoes, stapled on the OUTSIDE!! You have a great selection of stuff, why would you ruin beautiful clothes like this read more

it is so sad. They have a lot of good stuff in the store, but they need a better manager. The manager is not doing her job. Second time I come here and I feel so pressure looking around because it's only 7:30pm and they start turning off the lights so you can't even see the clothes. It's just not OK not everybody gets off work early so I mean if we still have 30 minutes to look around why are you guys turning off the lights 30 minutes before closing time, that's how you guys lose customers and get really bad reviews read more

This place is a hidden gem. I've purchased an evening gown that could've cost $200 for only $19 bucks! The beads and rhinestones were hand sewn and still intact. I've also purchased two Nike camping backpacks, a lot of photo albums about $3 each good as new. For collectors, I recently saw a beautiful wall sculpture that is made in Greece with a seal at the back and other collectible vintage plates. My only concern is that they don't have enough workers at the back sorting the gigantic piles of donations. I'm a shopper but I also donate a lot of goods. I wish staff at the back room would cover each other during lunch break because that's when people get off work to drop off goods. Getting a receipt takes a long time. Otherwise, staff are all friendly and kind. I love that they play Christian music (KLOVE) radio station. So humbling and encouraging. read more

I love this thrift store. I've had some pretty amazing finds. You have to go early and you have to be patient. I literally go through all the racks and spend like 3 hours in the store. First time visiting just to check it out and probably wont be going back just because of mediocre selection but overall the pricing. Everything is priced too high for the quality. I also prefer that stores are organized by sizes rather than color it was so difficult to find anything since its all mixed. I live in the area and I shop there very often. I love thrifting and finding cool pieces for cheap, and this is the place to go. They have tons of options and styles, and designers brands as well. On my last visit I bought 2 jackets (tags were still on), a pair of shorts, 3 tees and a couple dresses for 38 dollars. Most of it is still sold online for 10 times the price there. She even said I could arrange for a pickup. :| Granted, there may have been a language barrier... so it'll benefit you to know Spanish if you call in. They have such a solid amount of items coming through all the time. I always find good things there from every category of items. Just make sure you wear an outfit that you can try clothes over, there really aren't any places to try on clothes. This thrift store has always been one of my favorites in the valley. There truly is so many good items here if you have the time to really look through it all. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's being managed by someone new but the prices have become outrageously overpriced. The prices do not reflect a thrift store. There are items that are priced the same price as a new item at a department store, or even higher than they would sell it for! It's really not worth even making the trip. Every time I saw something remotely cute or in good condition it was $25+ ?? Not only that, but so many clothing items still had the security tags on them like they were stolen. A lot of the clothes were damaged and had holes, I even saw one for $14 with a big ass hole in it. It was pretty crowded too and people will literally be breathing down your neck and come less than a foot away from you and start looking down the same rack you're looking down. There's a thing called etiquette and manners that people here don't have. I'm mad I even have to give a 1 start bc I want to give 0. WHO THE F*****K TOLD THESE PEOPLE IT WAS OKAY TO STAPLE THE TAGS INTO THE CLOTHING?!?!???????? I just truly would like to understand this. You cannot remove the giant paper price tag without ripping your clothing's material. It's impossible unless you leave staples in your clothing and risk getting cut each time you wear it. One tag fell off so now i have a staple somewhere hidden in this thin dress or in my carpet and now im scared to wear it and currently digging thru carpet trying to find a staple so i dont step barefoot on it! cut myself twice already and was bleeding trying on 3 tops.... no joke. This is the STUPIDEST thing i've ever heard of in my entire life, and dressing rooms there are closed so you won't realize this until after you purchase and get home to try on. Yes the store is huge but everything is picked through already and all the clothes are for old people with bad taste, nothing cute and stylish left. As a store with used goods for sale, it falls short by LA standards, though perhaps would be of a higher caliber if located in a small dustbowl suburb. Lots of variety in a wide range of sizes, especially for those looking for stretchy work pants and stretch denim. However, the prices are rather high for a secondhand shop, and I found multiple pieces on sale with rips, tears, holes, etc. that were clearly not intentional distress that many jeans are styled with nowadays. In this fashion-saturated city, it is possible to find new versions of several of the clothing in stock here at same or cheaper prices elsewhere. After a good amount of digging, I nonetheless left here empty-handed. On another note, the higher standards we are able to have here in LA are signs of our spendthrift clothes horse culture and the incredible textile waste our county produces. I feel rather sad and conflicted citing the below-par shopping experience I had here because it makes me realize how easily we can afford dismissing otherwise wearable clothing as the consequences of our over-consumption move down the chain of income levels, until they are directly and personally felt only by the lowest socioeconomic class. read more

Located amongst warehouses and in what appears to be factories, is the the Super Thrift Store run by the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission. At first, I was slightly worried due to the neighborhood and the looks of the large building. But let me tell you.... this thrift store is highly exceptional! As mentioned in so many of my reviews regarding thrift and vintage store; I am a huge thrifter and vintage buff. I have patroned numerous stores as far East as Ohio and far north as Seattle. I know quality. Super Thrift is located within a large warehouse with an large selection of clothing. The women's' clothing is very extensive and neatly organized into tops, jeans, dresses, etc. My only disappointment is that there are no shoe racks and the shoes are simply placed onto the top smooth rack of the clothing racks so one has to walk up and down the aisles amongst the clothing searchers if they want to look at shoes. I did not look at the men's section but it also appears to be extensive. Children's clothing is located in a separate warehouse portion attached and is loaded with racks and aisles of goodies. Super thrift also has a large selection of housewares including plates, decorations, small appliances, etc. The furniture selection is small, but you may be able to find what you are searching for if you frequent the location. The best part: certainly the prices. Most of the women's clothing is marked under $4 and is not bad quality. I found many modern and beautiful dresses and tops in perfect condition. The prices are unbeatable. I don't think this is the store for vintage goods, but it is great for modern or casual goods. The highlight (and reason this location gained that 5th star): There are amazing surprises within Super Thrift that does not fail to bring a smile to your face. During my first visit, I immediately noticed several (I'm talking about 10 pairs) of beautiful, high-end, designer heels and dress shoes for females. All in perfect condition, barely worn, and marked with amazing low prices! It looked like Jessica Simpson's closet spit out her un-worn goods and donated it to Super Thrift! My girly-side was in heaven! Moreover, I noticed a genuine Gucci purse that I know for a fact retailed for $300 last season for only $6!!!! Super Thrift is certainly the place to go to score designer goods that will turn heads and look like a million bucks for only under $5. Absolutely wonderful! Not suggested for snobby LA types looking for a high-end store because it is a warehouse and doesn't look to be tip-top clean. But you will not be disappointed with your selections.
