The complimentary chips and salsa were great--the chips crispy and the salsa had a nice kick. We saw their $5.99 classic margaritas deal and had to try it. It was predictably weak but hey, the price. I got the 2 Baja Fish taco daily special with rice & beans and the hubby got a cheese quesadilla and a cauliflower taco. They also had beyond beef tacos, and we were surprised to see these vegan options. Maybe it's the influence of all the Death Valley hiking hippies? Whatever the cause, it was welcome to see. For almost 2 years, I have been going here with our group of Pahrump ladies a few times as we rotate among Pahrump restaurants for lunch every 2 weeks. Perhaps the chef/cook is different, and if this is the case, I am hoping that he or she will be willing to take suggestions or at least listen to this comment. As far as service, I have never had a complaint. I have been there with just my husband or with our group of ladies that has been at least 12 to 15 of us several times. The wait staff is always very professional and friendly, even providing individual checks for the group. Ambiance is just so so, really nothing that makes one go wow!
