    Super Nachos
    Aquila P.

A friend and I was looking for some ribs down the hill but unfortunately they were getting prepared for an event soon. So we went up the hill to this taco stand and ordered chicken nachos. These nachos are huge and have a distinct flavor. The service was great. This small stand has an electronic number system that calls out your order. They have covered seating as well as uncover seating all over the property. If your taking a trip out to Pahump check this spot out!!

I'm docking one star right out of the gate for the bouncer who made us put our water bottles back in our car when we were walking in. Not sure that's even legal since people need water for health and medical reasons but either way, that was a bad first impression. I guess on one hand, it's a long drive to other options from there but conversely, it's a long drive that people might choose not to make if they feel like they're going to get jerked around. The service was over the counter so I don't have a lot to say about it. I liked my food but it wasn't anything extrordinary. I liked the idea of enjoying lunch in a beautiful location and it was definitely beautiful up there. My wife however, didn't like hers. It might be a bi-product of her anger about the bottle bouncer but I imagine it would be a tough sell to get her to come back. The prices were on the high side of standard but that's all enraging when I think about how food like this was less than half what this cost even a decade ago. I understand that the economy isn't their fault but when people are more discerning in their eat out choices due to limited budget, maybe pissing them off on the way in to your establishment isn't the way to fly

Worth the wait! Excellent burrito! Quaint outdoor seating. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

I've had a run of regrettable Mexican food and even though this place wasn't horrible, it could have been a whole lot better. Again, another spot that charges for chips and salsa. As I always say, if you charge, the chips and salsa better be stellar. Before we get to that let me tell you about the service. I asked the server which lunch entrée she would recommend between the carnitas tacos and the chicken taquitos. She recommend the taquitos. Service was kinda cold and we really didn't feel completely welcome. We placed our order and the server said she would be right back with water, chips and salsa. A few minutes later she came back with water, but no chips. A few minutes after that, she returned with our meals, along with chips and salsa. Kinda tacky, the whole point of an appetizer is to have it before your meal. That said, without a doubt the best chips I've ever had. Light, crispy and a really hearty stone ground flavor, seriously, without a doubt the best chips. It was served with two salsas. The red was smoky with a little kick, but it needed salt. The green was tangy and by tangy I mean tart. It also needed salt, but in the end, it was just sour. Well, the taquitos were dry, unseasoned and not appetizing. There was basically 3 pieces cut in half to make 6 small taquitos. I ate 3, but should have stopped after the very first bite. I really regretted ordering them and was further disappointed by her terrible recommendation. The rice and beans also had no flavor, and in the end, I have had fast food Mexican that taste way better than this. I know the server knew I wasn't pleased when my plate was barely touched and I was further frustrated by a service fee added to my check, without explanation. Maybe this is a trend, Mexican restaurants adding penalties and fees to the check without warning. Not a good way to run a business.

Some things to consider: 1. The place has a cafeteria feel. I prefer a restaurant style, sit down, and have a waitress come to serve me. 2. No chips and salsa. 3. It was crowded when we went. It was probably about midnight on a Monday or Tuesday. I can only imagine how hectic it is on a weekend.

Speaking of the food, these aren't your ordinary Mexican dishes. Everything tasted authentic while also offering unique, elevated flavors that made each dish feel special. I ordered the piña colada, and it was absolutely delicious! It tasted high-quality, not overly sweet or cheap, and it was an amazing deal during happy hour. The enchiladas and chicken fajitas were just as impressive. Absolutely top-notch! On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

This Henderson location just wasn't nearly as good. The windows were kind of dirty, we were seated next to the service door to the kitchen, the music was loud and abrasive. Then we got our cocktails, which were absolutely terrible. We loved the cocktails at the other location but whoever the bar tender was at this spot, made them way too sweet and unbalanced. The food was ok. Spent over a $100 for a depressing and crappy dinner, on a rare date night.
