Appreciating my friendly Yelp app, I put in everyone's desired dinner request recommendations and found Marie's Caribbean Creole. Through the app, I could make a reservation for a party of five. I spoke with the hostess by phone to let MCC know we were en route. I apologize for the inconvenience of our late arrival. MCC is amazing! The place is spectacular with its vast size and interior design. The Lady greeted us at the front entrance. The Washington Apple cocktail was smooth and what I needed after the long road trip. The Salmon is glazed with bourbon and is cooked to perfection. My oldest sister proclaims the Cajun Shrimp and Sauage pasta is the best she has ever tasted. We ate and had a wonderful time creating lasting memories together. I wish to thank the Chef and the beautiful hostess involved on Thursday evening. It was exceptional in every way and added so much to the enjoyment of a triple birthday celebration. To the Chef, we will certainly be coming for brunch on Saturday! Cute new place! Very friendly waitress and owner. I tried their curry taco and jerk chicken, both are delicious. The jerk chicken especially. And I tried their plantain chips and collard greens. The chips were very crunchy and good. Will come back again! read more

Went there the other evening w/my wife. The ambiance was Caribbean great and the food was excellent. We just missed the 4-6 pm happy hour specials so we'll go back for those soon. We had the salmon, the Caribbean chicken skewers over lime rice special and some great sides (smashed sweet potato, jumbalaya n plantain chips). Had to come on here and highly recommend this place!! We were in town for work and needed to unwind after a rough day. This place did the trick. Our server was super nice and recommended the perfect dishes and drinks. Coworker had grilled salmon salad and I ordered the Cajun Shrimp and sausage pasta and it was to die for!! 10 out of 10! We came in before the dinner rush on a Saturday and I have nothing but good things to say about Marie's Caribbean Creole. I loved the ambiance. We had the jambalaya egg rolls and they were very flavorful. I had the crab cake sandwich and sweet potato mash. My husband had the Jamaican jerk wings and plantain chips. The wings were so good my husband jokingly said "Bring out Marie" at the end of the meal. The service from Kaila was excellent. If you haven't tried Marie's yet, give it a try! read more

I visited Marie's on a lunch date. I ordered the crab cake burger with sweet potato mash, and I added mac and cheese since the sandwich came with one side. Everything was absolutely delicious. My mouth was happy and excited for every bite. My date ordered the honey bourbon chicken with greens and sweet potato mash. We were happy we each had our own portion of sweet potatoes, and we each enjoyed each other's entrees and the other side. I wish I had taken a pic to post, but by the time I thought about it, I was done eating. We'll definitely be back, so I'll try to remember next time. read more

my favorite item was the curry chicken taco! soooo good and cheap! they also have a great happy hour deal. i tried the jerk chicken taco also which had a mild spice but was really sweet for some reason.. i had the honey chicken with mac and cheese and mashed sweet potatoes and my favorite from the plate was the sweet potatoes. the mac was ok and the chicken was a just too sweet for me. i would come back for the curry tacos for sure. service was great. read more

My family and I found this place looking for something different and this was it! The food was DELICIOUS!!! I was a little worried considering my youngest is a picky eater but she loved the ma and cheese we order her an additional side. The food was hot and did not take long for our food to reach the table. The service was friendly and the owner came out to make sure we enjoyed everything. This will not be the last time we visit here and highly recommend to anyone looking for just a great family vibe with great food!!! read more
