NY Strip, vegetables and tasty fries.

The service was attentive, friendly, comfortable dining room, a little bit noisy not crazy, nice decor. We were both going to order the filet mignon dinner that's on the menu but was told it was sold out. I opted for grilled chicken with grilled vegetables and a baked potato, my vegetables & chicken were tasty & warm, I would have preferred them hot, the chicken was nicely seasoned, thinly sliced, it is very tender and delicious, baked potato was hot, I enjoyed my dinner, he opted for the NY Strip with vegetables and fries, those fries were hot and delicious, seasoned perfectly, steak was served as ordered, a little on the tough side. We both enjoyed the dining experience and thought the portions were generous. I did ask for bread and our server brought us out a basket of warm bread. BYO is a plus. Overall an enjoyable Saturday date night.

We came here for Mother's Day with reservations, and we were seated right away. Restaurant has beautiful ambience and was very clean. I love the cloth tablecloths and the staff was busy making sure everything looked nice. We ordered the trio for an appetizer and it came out hot and fresh. I especially liked the mini tacos as they had a flavorful filling and were crispy. I also ordered the shrimp and scallop penne with homemade sauce, which was delicious and plentiful. The shrimp was large, and the scallops were delicious.

Lovely little byob in Avon. My boyfriend and I went here for a pre Valentines dinner. Sorry but so forgot to take pictures of the entrees. We started with the fried calamari and it was excellent! Very tender and seasoned perfectly. Loved the marinara dipping sauce too. For entrees I had the aloha salad. Loved the dressing and various fruits mixed in. It also had coconut chicken and shrimp. I found both to be a little dry. It would probably be a better choice to have grilled chicken and shrimp instead plus it would be lighter. My boyfriend had the cowboy wrap which was very good. It comes with chips but he opted for the fries which were a $2 up charge. The wrap had roast beef, mushrooms, onions and cheddar cheese. It was delicious. I didn't realize it was a byob until I got there. For convenience, there is a liquor store located a few doors down. I will. e sure to bring some wine the next time. lol The service was great and the entire staff are friendly. They make you feel welcome like family. I will definitely return and recommend Bed Rock to others.

Food is excellent, chef is great! Had the escargot, tuna tower, crab cake, and duck meatballs. For dinner we had the duck, pork chop and stuffed crab filet. Food was off the charts. Would come back here in a heart beat. Highly recommend!!

Came for brunch and after a 10 min wait they sat us. They take reservations for larger parties fyi. They had all the brunch classics on the menu and it was hard to choose what to get. The biscuits and gravy stuck out to me. Solid choice. The classic eggs benedict was bland. I don't know there was no real flavor which isn't typical for this type of food. The chicken biscuits and gravy was just ok. I wished the chicken was served on the bone but it was a fried cutlet. The french toast wasn't bad but overall the menu looked better than it tasted. I would come back but I would stick with dinner.

Thanks for the meal to go! Support your local businesses!

When I walked into the restaurant, there were 6 people standing ahead of us at the hostess stand. Tables were emptying out but no one even acknowledged our existence for - no exaggeration- 15 minutes. We made conversation with the people around us that it was almost comical that no one even said they'd be with us in a moment. It was odd and we almost left and walked to The Buttered Biscuit down the street, but we stuck it out. Once we were seated we were given a tiny placard to scan the menu with our phones. Service after being seated was surprisingly consistent after our long wait time to be seated with no acknowledgment from staff. I have a gluten allergy and the online menu did not have specific information showing what was GF or GFA. When I asked the sever about it she rattled off some GF options but of course I couldn't remember all of them, having them marked on the menu would be so helpful. I ordered the Birria Omelette but chose to have the tortilla strips on the side since they were in a shared fryer. The dressing for the side salad was light and tangy. The omelette was supposed to be French style but wasn't creamy in the middle. Birria meat was tender and kind of overwhelmed the overall taste of the omelette. I also had an iced decaf mocha latte and it was good, not too sweet and pretty much coffee flavored chocolate milk. My dining companion had the classic French toast, which looked delicious and he really enjoyed it but I didn't taste it because "gluten." Ambiance is really nice, tables are well spaced and the restaurant is well decorated. Not sure if I'll be back but glad I tried it!

The hotel is beautiful and it felt like every single piece of furniture and decorations were chosen intentionally. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the phenomenal, friendly and attentive service from manager Emily. Truly a gem of a person, and made sure everything we needed was available. Would also like to highlight that Emily reached out even before our stay begun to ask if we needed anything upon arrival or had any questions. All requests were met and Emily was prompt to answer all questions. I would highly recommend The James Bradley to anyone thinking of visiting. If you're looking for a quick vacation out of this city, this is the place, so easy to get to, the town has wonderful restaurants/bars and the beach was beautiful (even if it was too cold to hang out). I'm all for minimalism but there needs to be functionality behind it. As for breakfast; more gluten free options please! And the soft boiled eggs we chose were either cooked too hard or way undercooked. The yogurt and fruit was delicious! Our server was great.

I ordered a Shrimp Po' Boy and it was by far the best Po'Boy I have had outside of New Orleans, and might have even been better than the one I had there too. My daughter ordered the Fish and Chips, which she loved despite it being her first time trying it. The interior has that "hole in the wall" vibe with just a few tables and a few stools at the counter. The food is being made just feet away from wear you're sitting and it creates a homey vibe. The locals seem to love the place as several stopped in to either eat or chat with the two women working. I do believe they have outdoor seating at picnic tables. Overall, this place is an absolute gem and i'll definitely be back when we return to Belmar, NJ.

It's cash only or Venmo, which I find its pretty normal for smaller local spots. The thing about this location was that it reminded me of Maine, the walls are painted this beautifully brilliant blue with nautical inspired decor. My favorite was the fishies above a fishing boat, which I had to take a snap of. I ordered 3 eggs over medium, with rye, and a side of bacon. The eggs were still a bit too runny, but its a standard breakfast. I want to go back and to sit there because the staff were super nice. If I lived closer then I'd prolly be here all the time. I saw a reviewer complain about the sign showing open, but they weren't. Honestly businesses making that mistake all the time, but to point it out is just whatever. Highly recommend stopping by here early because I have a feeling they're super busy with the locals.

So just to be safe, I did make a reservation right when the restaurant opened. Seems to say I played it a bit too safe, I was the only one i there for the first 20-min.! In any case, then dining area was very bright and open, and I was seated near the window, which I enjoyed. I tried three foods, appetizer-entree-dessert, here's the breakdown: 1) Appetizer: Pan Roasted Achiote Octopus ($22) which has Shaved Pickled Carrots & Onions, Chermoula. For 1 person, this was quite substantial and a delicious start to the meal. The octopus wasn't tough, it was cooked perfectly, with a nice char-grilled flavour. Paired up with the accoutrements, it was a 10/10 way to begin my meal! 2) Entree: Grass-Fed Beef-Roasted Marrow Burger ($26) which has Raclette Cheese, Caramelized Onion-Tomato Jam, Fresh Baked Gluten Free Brioche Bun, & Beef Tallow Fries. Why 4-stars? Because of this item. The day I arrived the restaurant was trying their new "Baked Gluten-Free Brioche" on me, apparently I was one of the first --- the bread was dry AF, lol! I loved the burger --- the marrow taste, the raclette cheese --- I sing their praises, but wrong day to test out the "test bread"! It ended up on a Yelp Review. Hopefully the bread-recipe has been improved on after this review. PS: The onion-tomato jam perfectly pairs with the richness of the marrow burger. 3) Lastly, I ordered for dessert the bread pudding. They don't put their desserts on the menu, but if you ask the server they will let you know what the restaurant has for the day. I believe it's seasonal as well. It was average at best, good ---- but didn't stand-out. Overall, I'd totally recommend a stop-by if you're in the area! It's always awesome visiting these sites features on DDD, and tasting for yourself the hype behind their food!
