Comfy Main Street diner with friendly, efficient, service, good coffee and HUGE portions! I was also struck by the variety of options, with several different versions of Eggs Benedict, for example. I'll be back, with an appetite!

While driving through Belmar, I found Comfi on a whim and I'm so glad I did. I got a custom omelet with the kielbasa hash upgrade (highly recommend), and it was great! My mom, who is notoriously picky, got the kielbasa with sauerkraut and loved it--which says a lot. Comfi is a really cute spot with friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and try their hot cocoa!

Best breakfast spot IN THE WORLD! HUGE portions, so many menu items to choose from, delicious coffee drink specials, and a cozy atmosphere. Very crowded on weekends, but well worth the wait. Known for their Polish offerings of pierogis and kielbasa. You will not be disappointed with anything here. Excellent eggs benny too.

Cute brunch spot in Belmar! We got there around 11am on a Saturday and we're seated immediately. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. We ordered French toast, eggs, crispy potatoes and lamb eggs Benedict. I wasn't a huge fan of the eggs Benedict, I found that my pita got super soggy under the runny egg but everything else was good. I would come back here again and try something different. There was plenty of food as well!

We're visiting and our friend who lives here said this is a MUST GO place for their giant pancakes. The portions here are HUGE that you can definitely split a dish with someone and probably still have leftovers. We got the top o the morning, the "I'm still undecided" with kielbasa, the British banger and the "no retreat no surrender". Everything was very tasty but felt very greasy. My plate rhe "I'm still undecided" with kielbasa - felt like they gave me wayyyy too much kielbasa that I had to get a separate plate to put it on so I could get to the rest of my food. The pancake and French toast were delicious! The eggs felt greasy and not seasoned at all. The potatoes felt unnecessary and while the kielbasa was good, there was just too much of it. Friends notes on dishes below The top of the morning was yummy - it needed more salt. The bacon was salty but overall the dish needed more. Overall my friend said it was hearty and satisfying. The no surrender was good and a lot of food. The British bangers was freaking delicious. The potato pancake was super filling.. the melty cheese was really good. Over server Lexi was very nice. It was a hopping place on a Saturday morning but very cute, cozy, and nice.

Sometimes word of mouth is the best way to find hidden gems. If you want amazing breakfast in Belmar, New Jersey... I highly suggest you check out Comfi of Belmar. What a cool restaurant, with friendly employees, and really amazing food. I knew I was going to like this place the moment I stepped in... which by the way, I was the first customer of the day. It says something about the type of place it is when it is completely packed by 8:15 AM. Today's breakfast included: the Comfi Benedict, homemade pierogies (which were truly to die for), Wild Thing, and hot chocolate. I'd like to point out that the hot chocolate was also served in the Disney princess mug, which totally made my day lol. The restaurant is clean, fun, and vibrant which is truly and extension of its staff and food. Yum. What a find! Thanks you Bill McKim from Jersey Shore Whale Watching for the recommendation.

Great breakfast spot with LOTS of unique and classic options. Large portion sizes! However, as a pierogi lover these pierogis were definitely a miss for me. Despite how incredible they looks they were very bland and dry. Overall: Recommend for all your breakfast needs but I'd skip on the pierogis.

    Comfi is sooo comfi!

When I walked into the restaurant, there were 6 people standing ahead of us at the hostess stand. Tables were emptying out but no one even acknowledged our existence for - no exaggeration- 15 minutes. We made conversation with the people around us that it was almost comical that no one even said they'd be with us in a moment. It was odd and we almost left and walked to The Buttered Biscuit down the street, but we stuck it out. Once we were seated we were given a tiny placard to scan the menu with our phones. Service after being seated was surprisingly consistent after our long wait time to be seated with no acknowledgment from staff. I have a gluten allergy and the online menu did not have specific information showing what was GF or GFA. When I asked the sever about it she rattled off some GF options but of course I couldn't remember all of them, having them marked on the menu would be so helpful. I ordered the Birria Omelette but chose to have the tortilla strips on the side since they were in a shared fryer. The dressing for the side salad was light and tangy. The omelette was supposed to be French style but wasn't creamy in the middle. Birria meat was tender and kind of overwhelmed the overall taste of the omelette. I also had an iced decaf mocha latte and it was good, not too sweet and pretty much coffee flavored chocolate milk. My dining companion had the classic French toast, which looked delicious and he really enjoyed it but I didn't taste it because "gluten." Ambiance is really nice, tables are well spaced and the restaurant is well decorated. Not sure if I'll be back but glad I tried it!

The hotel is beautiful and it felt like every single piece of furniture and decorations were chosen intentionally. Would also like to highlight that Emily reached out even before our stay begun to ask if we needed anything upon arrival or had any questions. All requests were met and Emily was prompt to answer all questions. I would highly recommend The James Bradley to anyone thinking of visiting. If you're looking for a quick vacation out of this city, this is the place, so easy to get to, the town has wonderful restaurants/bars and the beach was beautiful (even if it was too cold to hang out). And the soft boiled eggs we chose were either cooked too hard or way undercooked. The yogurt and fruit was delicious! Our server was great.

Hello Darlings!…read more Another day, another review. You might be thinking that Your Host and his hubby get out a bunch. Trust me, it's a mere coincidence this weekend but to be clear, I think I'll be cooking in next weekend. Be that as it may, Hubby decided that we should lunch at what was once known as the Avon Pavilion, now known as The Promenade...ooh-la-la! Before we get to the deets of this here review, this spot has undergone a bevy of changes during Your Host's 61 years on the planet. The Promenade is about the nicest to date. ATMOSPHERE: It's really pretty, clean, and offers stunning views of the boardwalk and beachfront. In fact, it's located right smack dab on the boardwalk at the Woodland Avenue beach entrance. It easily converts to an indoor-outdoor space and is quite casual since it draws the beach goers. Additionally, there is a take-out counter right behind the restaurant itself for those desiring to chow down on grub while sunning themselves on the beach or on one of the benches on the boardwalk. The staff is nicely attired and quite friendly. FARE: As we've only had lunch here, the offerings are things like burgers, salads, and sandwiches. We did see that they have a breakfast menu so at some point we'll check that out. Food quality is quite good (it was smash burgers for us) and you can't really go wrong here. The price point is moderate and won't necessarily break the bank. The only negative that both Your Host and the hubby had is that the side comes with potato chips instead of fries. For what it's worth, this is a nice place, and, in my view, they could have made a better decision about that. While we did order a side of fries to share, our burgers came out and by the time we had each consumed half of them, the server told us that the fries were on their way. At that point we simply told them to cancel the fries. That was the only gaffe, not a huge issue but worth a mention. DRINK REFILLS: Soft drink and iced tea refills are free! Yay! Hey Columns: perhaps you might consider this? Your porch is nice I'll admit but freebies on soft drink refills are better SERVICE; our server was a polite, accommodating young man. Generally speaking, all of the staff members that we encountered were polite and cheerful...just like Your Host. Most of the staff are young adults / teens and it's great to see young people gaining experience in dealing with the public and providing good customer service. OVERALL: this is a great spot to check out if you're enjoying a day at the beach in Avon and want to enjoy a nice sit-down lunch. We haven't had dinner here yet, but rest assured, darlings that a separate review will be forthcoming as that develops. Gotta keep the reviews coming...Jonathan would agree! Enjoy darlings! It's cash only or Venmo, which I find its pretty normal for smaller local spots. The thing about this location was that it reminded me of Maine, the walls are painted this beautifully brilliant blue with nautical inspired decor. My favorite was the fishies above a fishing boat, which I had to take a snap of. I ordered 3 eggs over medium, with rye, and a side of bacon. The eggs were still a bit too runny, but its a standard breakfast. I want to go back and to sit there because the staff were super nice. If I lived closer then I'd prolly be here all the time.
