Mind you I was browsing first to find air brush, but then I came across some nail inspiration and boom. I found the "one" look I wanted. So just from the nail inspiration I wanted to find a nail place that gave me what I was feeling from the photograph, a meditation zone, a mini vacation, some earthy vibes, a peace of mind. So out of all the places I came across I chose this one, mainly because my baby nephew name is Mason, but then I looked into the website and it felt amazing just from its art , the style of nails. The appearance everything. And randomly walking in and getting paired with "yuki" she was amazing. A friendly host, we chatted a bit, but honestly her vibe was so peaceful you didn't even want to ruin the moment, her silence was peaceful enough. I sat in the middle row so I had views of outside just taking in the city and the scenery, amazing vibes. I would highly recommend trying this place out. Book with "yuki" if you can , to be quite frank everyone in there salon looks they do amazing work. Like any nail technician you get paired with with get the job done. Give it a 5 star . I asked her to make sure she maintained my side walls and said I was ok with them needing to be longer if the length I specified would mean she had to file my side walls. This didn't happen. Side walls were filed off. 2. Nails look "ski sloped". 3. Set already looks grown out. It's been less than 24 hrs. 4. Salon was visibly dirty and tools were obviously being reused. Gloss is now a skip. Sadly, this was the end of the road for me with Gloss.

I like a neutral nail and the lady who worked on my hands gave me two coats, which I appreciate because sometimes nail techs lay it on too thick. My pedicure was perfect and if I had more time I would've paid extra for a longer massage. Her hands were magic! I took off a star because the towels they used were stained and the UV lamp had dried up nail polish on the inside. The white chairs had handprints and stains. Keeping the space clean would really elevate the experience for future patrons.

I visited Elite Nails on 7/16, and unfortunately, the service I received was extremely rude and…read moreunprofessional from the beginning. I asked for a simple gel manicure on my natural nails. The nail technician immediately had an attitude about how short my nails were and repeatedly insisted that I get acrylics. I clearly explained that I did not want acrylics and only wanted my natural nails painted. She continued to have an attitude throughout the service, complained while doing my nails, and then, when she finished, told me that I had "given her a hard time" because of the length of my nails. I found that extremely disrespectful, especially since I was simply asking for the service I requested. The pedicure experience was just as disappointing. I chose a color that I wanted, but the technician insisted that the color would not look good with my brown skin tone and tried to discourage me from using it. I found that comment inappropriate and unnecessary. My skin tone should never be a reason to tell me that I cannot or should not wear a particular color. The technician also used a nail file and nail drill on the bottoms of my feet to remove dead skin, but the service did not feel thorough or effective. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly asked questions about pricing in a way that made me feel as though she was questioning whether I could afford the services I was requesting. That was extremely uncomfortable and insulting. What also bothered me was hearing another customer speak disrespectfully to the nail technicians and tell them that she did not want them speaking their native language. I found that behavior rude and uncomfortable, especially because everyone deserves to be treated with respect regardless of what language they speak. Overall, I left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. Customers should be able to receive the service they request without being pressured into something else, judged based on their appearance or skin tone, or made to feel uncomfortable about pricing. Based on my experience on 7/16, I unfortunately would not recommend Elite Nails.

First, instead of properly wrapping my nails in foil with acetone (the standard and safe method), the technician placed my hands into bowls lined with produce bags filled with pure acetone -- without even telling me. I thought it was water until my skin started reacting and feeling painfully dry. The smell was so strong it gave me a headache, and at one point she had to cover my hands with a towel because of how overwhelming it was. Next, she used the wrong tool to remove my Gel X nails, which damaged my cuticles. On top of that, she skipped basic cuticle care altogether -- something you expect as part of any manicure service. My nails looked worse leaving than when I walked in. I called afterward to express how unsatisfied I was, and when I returned with my boyfriend, he had to point out how unacceptable the results were. Only then did they fix the damage, and they persuaded me to remove my initial Yelp review. Out of fairness, I did. However, when I came back later for an eyebrow service, the same technician openly gave me attitude -- even sucking her teeth at me -- clearly because I had complained before. That level of unprofessionalism is not okay. Overall, I would never recommend this salon. The lack of proper technique, unsafe practices, and unprofessional behavior toward paying customers is unacceptable.
