Another good landmark is BookEnds because their sign is the tallest and largest of all of the businesses. In-between the anchors, the popular eateries are Donut King, Mexico Lindo, Paniolo's, Aloha Salads, India Cafe, Island Snow, Morning Brew, and newcomer, Mala Market (second location). Current shopping options include: Coco's Trading Post, Dogtown Bakery, Stussy, SoHa KEIKI, Lanikai Bath and Body, Windward Jewelers, and Classic Waves. One of many shopping center the one thing that will certainly see is the giant storefront sign for BookEnds with that you know you're there and one of the smaller place actually is filled with a great variety of tenants. On this visit I did revisit places like BookEnds and Lanikai Juice though did discover several new places (for myself) like Mālā Market...thank you bestie Nadine for the correction, Lanikai Bath and Body, Coco's Trading Post. That just scratch the surface of what you're able to find at this amazing place cause if it's machines you got Aloha Salads, Morning Brew, Mālā Market, Times Supermarket, Paniolo's, India Cafe and Donut King. My newest love shopping here is Lanikai Bath and Body but there are some jewelry shops, Stussy, SoHa Keiki and yes BookEnds who did have a box of free books outside shows what a cool vibe this area has. So much you can do in one place makes Kailua Shopping Center so easy to support local all in one spot. Thank you!

Kailua Town center has been a really fun place to go to lately!…read more They sometimes throw events or have cute things going on that you'd WANT to make the drive over to Kailua! Last christmas they had a bunch of cute photo ops. I'm glad i took the time to go down because it was really cute and apparently the last christmas for my dog, Nala. I'm glad i was able to capture some memories with happier times when she was somewhat healthier. On Thursdays - they have farmers markets in the evening. Don't forget to bring cash with you (which i totally forgot). There are some food vendors that will take credit card tho. Recently they've been throwing little events around Kailua town too. The lei bus has been there in the past and we went to go do our free photo op with them in February. This past week they had the sip and shop over the weekend. You collect stamps around Kailua town (a lanyard is provided) and you can win a $500 gift card for completion. You can get a bunch of freebies with the lanyard too! There was mocktails, a lot of drinks, cotton candy, and shave ice! The Lei bus was also there again too for the cute photo op. it was really busy at this event since the farmers market was also happening that night, so parking was a little limited compared to other days.

I come to Aikahi Park Shopping Center every now and then to go to Starbucks or tamuras. I was on my…read moreway home and needing to charge my car when I saw that there was an available charging spot at aikahi, so I detoured through Kaneohe and planned on spending some time at Starbucks doing work and charging my car. NOPE. The Volta app said the spot was available but when I got to the spot, a blue Nissan leaf was parked and plugged in. This means the owner was parked here for more than 2 hours because they were charging and then the charger stopped after 2 hours. I waited around for an hour and the inconsiderate asshole never came to move his/her car. What's even worse is that they had an aikahi park shopping center parking tag which means they work here and could easily come out and move their car after 2 hours. So inconsiderate. When I used to work at other shopping centers like Ala Moana and Ward, we were told to park in designated places like far away from the shops so as to not take away prime parking for customers. I guess aikahi park doesn't care about their customers. Ok, so now that my rant is done, the shopping here is kind of good for the variety. It's sad that the hot pot place closed, and I think they could do with a boba shop, but there is a variety of food options and a drive through Starbucks. There's also a Safeway, so I guess there's not much more you could ask for.

Starbucks seems to be a popular addition but the drive thru line blocks off the outer lane a good part of the day, forcing customers going to the other shops to try to get into the lanes to park. Don't rely on people who haven't had their coffee yet to NOT block access to the lanes.

Each store doesn't matter which Ross I've been too, there is always a line, short cashiers. It's a hit and miss on what I can find there. But most of the items are reasonably priced.

Those were the most memorable places because they had AKSHON! Cosmic candies was another memorable spot! I think when they closed down, that's when the mall changed! Afterwards, kids grew up, adults got angrier, teens dispersed and Kaneohe no longer was FAMILY! It opened up to a new generation. Yet, they still have this mall. Constant changes, new businesses every 3-5 years. None that sticks around. Only a handful didn't leave. Let's hope this place can become a family place again.

She made me feel very welcome and I enjoyed and loved my experience with her. She constantly checked on me and offered pieces I didn't think I would like. She really exemplified awesome customer service. She and the other gal working were very nice. I was very happy with my experience and also that I was able to find items that I liked and fit well. I was excitedn to find a few things to purchase. They do have a good selection of merchandise as well. Some items are a little pricey but I found that they are worth the quality. I would definitely return to this location. Fighting Eel has the best employees!
