I confronted the older gentlemen (owner?) and he gave me the most ridiculous story and tried to cover up their lie. I told them that I knew they were lying and to just give me my part back which they claimed they threw away. I left that day and told them I would report them to the authorities for stealing a $500 part and magically they made up a completely different story and they found the part that they were supposed to replace. I went and picked up my part the next day. Total scammers. Be aware and check their work. I will continue to report them on all fronts.

Today is August 1, 2023. Documented below, are several written exchanges with Leon Upholstery. I…read moredropped off seat covers along with the seats to Leon Upholstery late May 2023. Leon Upholstery committed to completing the work in one (1) day. I agreed to give him a week. After two (2) weeks, the seats were not done. I reached out to Leon Upholstery and he asked for more time. I agreed. On July 5, 2023, he called and explained the seat covers had miraculously ripped and he wanted additional money for making modifications to the seats despite inspecting the seats covers before I took him the seats to install the new seat covers. He explained the resulting rips from the seats were due to the manufacturers miscalculations on putting the seats together. The following day, I visited his shop and agreed to purchase additional fabric. Unfortunately, the seat covers manufacture took 17 days to provide me with the additional fabric needed to repair Mr. Leon's destruction of the original fabric he was provided. Once I provided the fabric, around July 20th, 2023, he stated that he would be done with the seats by July 27th, 2023. I called July 28th, 2023 to pick up the completed seats and he indicated that he was not done and would be finished on July 31, 2023. I called on July 31, 2023 around 3 o'clock PM without any response. On July 31, 2023, around 7 PM, I received a return call requesting additional time and excuses to complete the job. I was in the middle of a dinner engagement and wanted to end my conversation with Mr. Leon and told him Sunday, August 5th or 6th, 2023, I needed my seats back. After sleeping on the additional time requested I decided to call Mr. Leon around 11:00 am on August 1, 2023, to ask for partial refund of $200 of the $300 deposit that I had made. Mr. Leon said i was only entitled to $100. He said he put forth a lot of time and effort on the seats and he could only refund me $100. Please read the transcripts of my conversation with him on August 1, 2023. I recommend before entrusting any upholster with precious work and fabric that we all do our research on their background and business practices. I definitely would not recommend Leon's Upholstery to anyone for the following reasons: 1. Breached of agreed prices. 2. Timely delivery of completed work. 3. Mishandling of fabric. 4. Mishandling of customer's trust, time, and money. 5. Disregard for customers patience and understanding.
