I don't understand the bad reviews here. It's a great sports bar with good service, friendly staff, and big portions of delicious food. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was a huge chicken breast. The sauce was pleasantly spicy (I should have ordered extra sauce, personal preference). I went with blue cheese instead of ranch and it was delicious and homemade. If you're looking for a sports bar vibe and some great food in Hammond, do it, you'll enjoy! read more

Two stars only because the service was good. My past three experiences: Chicken Caesar salad -- the chicken was HARDLY cooked enough. Last two times I got burgers - medium well. All four of us got crispy, way overcooked, dry burgers. Fries slightly overcooked as well. Used to be my favorite spot. Boy has it gone downhill. read more

Met my friend there who was having a family reunion. As I had already eaten, I went to the bar to get a cocktail, because a waitress was nowhere to be found. I ordered a Sazerac. A Sazerac is a cocktail that originated in New Orleans and should be a no-brainer for ANY restaurant in South Louisiana. The bartender looked at me, with attitude, and said what's that? I said you might want to Google it. Her friend sitting at the bar, googled it at the same time that I did and of course the ingredients were different. The bartender (blonde girl that's all I can remember) asked me, again with attitude, what kind of whiskey I wanted. I ordered a rum and Coke. Totally unacceptable. read more

Service was slow and terrible. My French fries were so crunchy and I got solid fry when eating no potato. Save your money. Not worth the extra $2 for the fries. Waitress didn't care to be nice or checkup. Chicken Parmesan was tiny and nasty also. read more

The service was great. My wife and I were in town for an appointment and it was late and we stumbled upon this place. The atmosphere is nice. It has that old tavern feel. We looked over the menu and found it had a few it had some unique menu items. So ordered dinner and a couple of drinks. The meal arrived very promptly. I apologize it's been a while since we've been there and I don't remember exactly what it was except some of it was fried. Truthfully, the only real complaint that I have is that the grease appeared to be old due to the taste of the fried food. read more

Bottom line - this restaurant has a major food and customer service issue. We sat down at Brady's and decided we liked it because of the menu and lack of crowd. I noticed the table was sticky but got over that part, excited to get our ribeyes. Had not read any of the previous reviews on it. Ribeyes were priced well, but the meat was low grade. Won't need to go to the gym for arm day this week, got my exercise in cutting the meat. Loaded baked potatoes were cold. How is that possible? I guess you just served yesterday's potatoes and cover them up with cheese. The waitress was nowhere to be found during our entire meal. We were waiting on the check so I approached the "waitress booth" where one of the girls was sitting in their group relaxation area. Asked for our waitress. Oh...here she comes. Silly me. She was on her smoke break, wreaking of smoke. Now I know why we endured the duration of an entire meal with cold baked potatoes. She needed a smoke. Don't want to inconvenience anyone. We look for new places to eat and Brady's came up, it's half an hour drive to Hammond. It's an old building with that kind of ambiance, it's a charm. We walked in and headed to a booth and our waitress got to us before we could even sit down! Julie ordered a filet with a salad and a baked potato and I had the Italian sausage poboy. Both were very good! I had a Ceaser salad and the dressing was spot on! The place is clean, seemed to be plenty of seating. There's a full bar and a bunch of big screen TVs with sports. Our server was by several times but not intrusive, I really like that. Restrooms were clean and stocked. We plan on going back!! read more

Went to Brady's in Hammond Friday evening place had a good vibe. Our waitress was friendly and efficient initially. After waiting at least 20 minutes for our our waitress said the order was mixed up with others and delayed. I had 8oz filet and loaded baked potato both were very good steak was medium rare as ordered and potato complimented it very well. The Cesar salad was excellent. Others ordered catfish Mamou and were very disappointed with taste and sauce, another ordered steak tips which were supposed to be a new special according to waitress they were awful. Tips served in a bowl of Worcestershire and a slight hint of red wine, that was it. No veggies no potatoes no nothing. May return and try some other dishes. read more

This review is only for the St. Patrick's Day festivities. We got here around 7pm and enjoyed a few beers at the bar and at a table. Around 10pm the lights were turned down and a DJ started playing music. The music was a hodge podge of top 40 and hip hop. The crowd progressively got younger and more obnoxious as the night went on. I'll hand it to the bartenders for busting their behinds to try to accommodate several hundred drunks, mostly bratty college kids. I wish I had spent the night on the back patio because a really cool alternative rock cover band was playing. Unfortunately they wrapped pretty early. I was done at midnight. The bar was no longer fun for anyone over 25. read more

Sad to say, but I've only eaten here once before and it was 22 Years ago to the day. Nothing was wrong...just never went back. With this cool front hitting it felt so good to sit in their courtyard for lunch. I had their lunch special...philly cheesesteak served French dip style. It was amazing. This place rocks. Two for one beer weekdays most of the day and they have the best bargain in town on a tuna entre for only 13 bucks at the time of this post. Had a really girls day out lunch here. The service was great and my shrimp and pasta was wonderful. The fried seafood looked really good also. We took a friend out for her birthday and for five meals and dessert split four was it was 38.00 I don't know if they have a handicap bathroom because the ladies room is tiny and a wheel chair would not fit. read more

I parked in their parking lot around 10:50am, 10 minutes before they open. I was coming in to place a catering order. Since I was early, i was going to walk around the block until they opened. As soon as I exited my car, the owner promptly shouted to me to leave as the businesses surrounding the parking lot pay rent and i couldn't park there. He didn't even ask what I was there for. I asked him if this was Brady's parking lot. He said yes, and I said I was going to order catering from Brady's. He said "ok" and moved on to the next vehicle. I moved my car and took my business elsewhere. I've been a Brady's customer since I moved here in 2012 and will not be returning as I do not want to be chased out again. read more

Absolutely nothing to write home about. Once you've had the Steakhouse around the corner, everything else is mediocre.
