I was recommended to this market, Marino's located in a fine neighborhood. the whole shop was neat and organized, they have got everything, a lots of imported goods, noticeably many items from Italy. At the dairy, the counters were very proud themselves and indeed a lots of amazing stuffs and I will explore further next time.

I live in the Midwest. We don't have places like this and the ones we do have aren't as large and don't have this vast of a selection. The amount of premade salads and marinated peppers was amazing. There was any kind of Italian meat available. I went shopping with my friend in order to pick up some ingredients to make pizzas at home. The meatballs from Marino's were to die for. Great store.

One of the worst supermarkets!!! The selling junk and is extremely expensive compared to other places!! Service is very bad too!! Don't waste your money with them !

I give this place a solid 3.5 stars. The store is on the small side and the grocery part is simply ok. Nothing spectacular. Where they do shine is their meat section and deli counter. The pre-made food is simply delicious and the Italian imports are even better. Plus 18.99 for imported prosciutto is a win any day of the week. And they slice it so thin you can see through it without it falling apart. Although I've been to better Italian groceries this one does the job just fine.

Most of the time their food is good. But I got a couple of breaded chicken cutlets that could have doubled as shoe leather.

Be alert to their pricing - the deli prices on their windows are for 1/2 lbs. not for a pound as the ads would lead you to believe.

Chorizo for appetizer great tasting but u may not need it they start u off w some warm bread & cheese, salami app very good depending on how hungry u are I'd say u can skip the appetizer. Main dishes Milanesa à la napolitana this was good, way too many onions but good comes with rice & beans. I had the Pechuga de pollo la provenzal, yumm this was delicious the sauce is so tasty, I got it w tostones great since dipping into the sauce. Next time, Ice tea & Sprite for drinks not bad, no apps since they start u off w that bread. I had the Meat special #4 , This comes with 2 pieces of steak & chorizo , got it w tostones the meat was very flavorful, cooked just right , comes w a chimichurri sauce so good. We also had the Pollo Provenzal again, man that sauce is amazing got it w fried yuca, it was very good. This place is a one stop shop, butcher style Meats for sale, some Argentinian desserts, candy & merchandise they seem to have a little bit of everything. Good size location, decent decor & service. Prices are seasonable since they do give u a good portion size. Good neighborhood spot, this place was a good find & chances are we will continue to visit from time to time.

After more than 25 years of being customers and spending hundreds of dollars per visit, we were…read moreessentially told we had stayed too long after finishing our meal. That was enough for us to decide we will not be returning. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years. The food has generally been good, which is why my family continued returning and recommending it to others. Our history with the restaurant has not been without issues. Years ago, we stopped coming after a Mother's Day incident involving my grandmother. We had been seated in the upstairs dining room (when it was still open), only to later be told by the owner that we did not have a reservation and that we had to leave. After several years, we decided to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and eventually started coming back again. Unfortunately, today confirmed that the earlier incident was not simply bad luck. I was dining with my parents. We ordered two steaks, two appetizers, three sides, a bottle of wine and later a second bottle (of which we only drank half), along with four after-dinner drinks, cappuccino, and dessert. It was clearly a very busy day, and service was slower than usual. Because of the restaurant's pace, our meal ended up lasting a little over three hours. We were patient the entire time and never complained. After we finished eating and were simply finishing our drinks, the owner, Marcelo, approached our table and remarked that we had been there for three hours and were now only drinking alcohol, indirectly suggesting that his establishment was not a bar but a place for dining. Considering that we had just spent several hundred dollars and have been customers for decades, the comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. We immediately asked for the check and left. For context, I am a physician and understand the pressures of demanding work environments. However, professionalism and respect toward customers should always come first. Over the years, my family has typically spent between $300 and $500 per visit here. Unfortunately, after this experience, this will be the last time we come. There are many excellent Argentinian and Uruguayan steakhouses where customers are treated with appreciation and respect, and that is where we will be going moving forward.

The whole event was very organized (including before hand). As we moved around their building all the stations were set up, so there was little hanging around. My class was split into a few sections, after a little team bonding and shouts of "meat" we got going. Firstly a run through of the anatomy of animals and things to look out for or attributes that change taste, we even touched on a few ethical issues which were interesting. Secondly Jessica ran through food labeling which was very interesting, I consider myself pretty well educated on meat purchasing but learnt a few things (I didn't know to look out for 1000% grass fed vs grass fed). Finally we got into the butchery section, initially with a demo then an attempt ourselves. I definitely learnt a lot of techniques I could use and they helped you throughout. Overall the class was great fun, the instructors were very helpful and at the end I had a lot of delicious meat to take home. Highly recommended. Matt
