Great pizza! But.. service isn't the greatest. They gave my pizza to the wrong person so they had to remake it. Thankfully, they gave me a gift card because of the mistake, so I went back the next evening. This is a high quality rapid fire spot. I would say above average for sure. They are also consistent with it as well. I love coming in here customizing a pizza and it tasting excellent every time. They are never greedy with their toppings and the toppings always seem clean. They certainly taste great. The pizza is always cooked to an almost crisp state. And something that really adds to how great of a place is their pricing. I think the quality to pricing ratio here is very good and that's not common at all now days, I would for sure come here less if that was not in the customers favor. One thing that I haven't ordered in a long time that was so gas when I had it was the blue berry and/or apple pizza slash desert thingy. Wildly terrific! While I do enjoy Rapid Fired and appreciate the concept, variety, and quality offered, this location offers a poor ability to meet the needs of their customers. Twice now, I have placed online orders hours in advance to my pick up time; plenty of time to prepare and prioritize orders. I arrived promptly at my selected pick up time to find that not only was my order unprepared, my order ticket had not even been printed for the line to prepare. A large order, of well over twenty pizzas, was prioritized in front of mine, although placed several hours after my order was received. The manager offered no refund or discount, not even an apology for not meeting the needs of the customer or correctly fulfilling the demands of the online ordering system. 20 minutes I spent there, waiting for them to prepare my four hour old order, consuming my entire lunch break. For consumers wanting quality pizza paired with quality service, take the quarter mile drive down Main Street to Mod Pizza instead. read more

Rapid Fire delivers on everything they promise. They offer a wide variety of quality toppings; 3 crust options, including gluten free; and fast service. I love that they have at least a dozen dipping sauces that you can help yourself to. Fountain drinks are from a Pepsi Spire dispenser (120 flavors). Bu the time you fill your drink, your pizza is ready. I got a White Out pizza and my husband tried the Triple Bypass, both on thin crust. We'd order the same thing again someday, after we've explored the menu a little more :) Try some roasted garlic and bacon, the two toppings we liked the most. read more

Anymore, it seems like every counter-service restaurant has started to adopt the Subway/Chipotle model: walk down the aisle, pick out your toppings, walk away with some quickly-made tasty food: Korean food at Bibimbop on Stewart St. near U-D, sushi at Fusion, and now both Rapid Fired Pizza and MOD Pizza, both of which opened in Englewood within the past month. Now I'd been going to Rapid Fired Pizza in Springfield often enough to get a free-pizza through their loyalty program, but much of that has to do with their proximity to my workplace. It's an easy thing to skip over to Bechtle Ave. and pick up a pie with whatever I like on it. However, RFP has its ups and downs. While the toppings are tasty and fresh, and there are a number of great options for sauces and the like, the crust could be better and some of the options are...less than stellar. So, when MOD opened a few weeks ago, just a half-mile away from the new location for RFP, it piqued my interest. Is there enough interest in this concept for two such places in tiny little Englewood? If not, I certainly hope that MOD comes out on top. The pair have the exact same model, but MOD definitely beats its competitor in a number of areas, all of which make for a great pizza. The crust at MOD is thinner--almost a cracker-style thin crust--and is cooked in a wood-fired oven, rather than the modern "conveyor belt" style of oven. That's a big plus, right there. The marinara sauce at MOD is chunky and flavorful, even though they only offer one variety, compared to RFP's three. Toppings for the pair are an even match. Everything you could particularly want on a pizza is available at both, with a few minor varieties. RFP offers fresh sliced mozzarella, while MOD offers whole clove roasted garlic. MOD also offers a few more options for salads...if you're going for that sort of thing, for some reason. Plus, while RFP has one of those "make-your-own" Pepsi fountains, MOD offers fresh-brewed, organic blackberry lemonade...which is damned tasty. Really, I don't think you can go wrong with either of these locations, though I give MOD the slight edge. Enjoy! read more

On our way passing though we stopped in and ate because we had never seen something like this. We walked in and were greeted with smiles and very helpful staff. You get to either choose a pizza or build your own. Unlimited toppings at one price! The only issue is there isn't a Rapid Fired Pizza back home. So to MOD PIZZA I GO! I decided to give this establishment one more chance after the crappy experience I had with the location located in Centerville, OH. I was indecisive between Firehouse Subs and Rapid Fired Pizza while in the area. I opted for Rapid Fired which was thee worst mistake ever! For some reason the employees at Rapid Fired Pizza are entirely too overzealous about their jobs. I placed my order and presented my coupon that was texted to me once I signed up to text alerts. Once I am ready for check out and present my coupon the young man didn't know how to enter it and asked Michael for assistance; this dude proceeds to scroll/go through my phone searching for times and dates! Who does that? Never, have I ever experienced an associate proceeding to scroll through my phone as I present a coupon. He says, "he's searching for a date and time!" The coupon has to be used within a certain time allotment. What? It's never been redeemed; so if it's one minute past the time it was texted you're not going to enter the coupon? I paid the regular price for the pizza sat down and proceeded to enter the coupon code so I can get refunded. He says, "this time says 3:32p and I do not have to give this to you." What difference does it make? "Would you like me to return the pizza and purchase it again so I can use the coupon; is it that serious?" He then says, he's the store manager and doesn't have to honor it! So I returned my pizza and and returned my refund! All that to say, "you'd rather lose a great customer and receive negative reviews because you need to lighten up!" He was extremely, rude, raised his voice shouting while other customers are in line. Even the gentleman that placed an order behind me he gave him an extremely hard time about the deals that were posted on the windows! This place is great to grab a pizza on the go. They also have a nice area to eat there. I always like different toppings on my pizza- not the traditional, and they have everything. They make it and cook it right there while you wait. They then have lots of sauces you can fill in containers to use as well. read more

We were in there around 845pm even though the sign on the door said they were open until 11 . The young lady that work there didn't even want us there you can tell by her attitude. So we get up to order and she said this is to go right before we got a chance to even order . ( planning on dining in) Then look at my wife and said all you want is pepperoni right my wife look at her and said no at this point I had enough so I raised my voice and said "did we come in at a bad time " a another employee come over and apologize and said sorry we are in clean up mode right now but like I said there hours on the door said they don't closed until 11. Terrible! I ordered delivery twice and both orders were incorrect. Both times, they did not put the correct toppings on my pizzas. The first time I tried to call the store, however when I called a recording came on that said the number has not been set up. Then I tried calling the main 800 number , told the woman about my pizza and was hung up on. The second tim I gave the pizza back to the driver and he said that is what is on the pizza. I told him, no it's not, and handed it back to him. I did get a call from the store and they admitted they forgot to put two of the toppings on. We usually really enjoy eating here, however Rapid Fire has become slow! We waited over 20 min just to make our pizza with only 6 people ahead of us. They are now making online orders in the same line. They ran out of crusts and out of toppings several times. One guy was working delivery and the other four people were trying to keep up with orders, keep the line stocked and make crust. In total about 35 min from start to finish for our pizza! read more
