We chatted a bit after he served me a full portion of curry chicken with fried rice. It was well spiced. The fried rice has no pork in it, which is how I prefer it. Other customers came in, but when he had time he told me about his two years in the US Army as a draftee from San Diego n the mid 1960s. He stayed here to open his business and has been cooking food ever since. "If I had retired from the army, I'd be over 100 years old now!" he said. He only shuts down when he travels for a week. He is a true gentleman and I'm glad we got to meet.

It is called the rancher's breakfast, one of many offered. The bacon is thick and tasty, eggs and potatoes cooked perfectly and toast buttered just right. I say okay! My bad I looked at yelp and when I clicked on their "website" option it took me to Facebook. She very rudely told me she didn't write the website. Okay? Awkward. She said they only had bar food and pizza. I asked what kind of bar food, and as soon as she said chicken wings I interjected and said okay great how many! And what flavors. She is super rude on the phone, and without prompt tells me she's super busy and doesn't have "all day" to read me the entire menu. I'm like, "I'm sorry I get that there's just no visible menu to order from" and she starts berating me that she doesn't write the website. She's so incredibly rude, at this point I'm literally holding the phone with my mouth open. I ask her what her name is and she HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME. I call back and ask to talk to the owner because that sh** was OUTRAGEOUS and she denies hanging up and suddenly insists she didn't hang up the phone. I get it's a small town but no amount of ignorance or lack of socialization calls for that level of rudeness. Next time, just say you don't take call out and maybe update your information so people don't call asking WHAT YOU SERVE.

It was quite good. My pizza came out as told and it, too, was good. The dough was an airy thick crust. The zucchini dominated the vegetables. The pizza filled me up and I had no leftovers. I would have tried a cannoli but the only dessert available were cheesecakes. This little place opened up several years ago as a dessert stand.
