We got takeout and I didn't pickup so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but it is cute from the outside and does have some parking. Its at the end, just off the main area so its easy to grab for takeout. There's easy online ordering and we got everything as ordered. There's even an option to make any pizza half and half which is great! We got the Supreme, the Margherita, and a half and half of the Thai chicken and the sausage/ mushroom pizza. This is still my favorite pizza place in Arizona. Friendly servers. Unique ambiance as this was an old gas station back in the day. But their pizzas are especially delicious. They make their own pizza sauce and spin the dough by hand before creating the thinner crust pizza cooked in a mesquite wood fired oven. It is always a special treat to come here. read more

We had heard good things about Screaming Banshee and decided to pop in on our visit to Bisbee. The restaurant is quite small, but has decent seating both inside and outside. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, but sadly the food wasn't everything we had hoped. The pizza was a bit soggy and didn't have a ton of flavor. This is a nice quiet little pizza place. The menu was full of stuff that looked ok, but nothing that really jumped out at me. We ordered the supreme pizza and for 25 bucks, it was really just a small, pizza. Not bad, but definitely not good and darn sure not worth the price. We had some 10 or 11 dollar dip beforehand that came with some dried bread. The food and the prices were just disappointing. I will say the location was nice. The food was prepared in a timely manner. The servers were very attentive and nice. Screaming Banshee was recommended to us several times and I can see why. It's located at a very scenic intersection and has an outdoor dining area. They offer a nice selection of pizzas, appetizers and drinks. Our two pizzas were both pretty good. The service seemed a little disoriented and forgetful. I've been wanting to try Screaming Banshee for years, but it's always been packed. I finally got the chance during our last trip to Bisbee and it was more than worth the wait. We started with an order of the Knotty But Nice, which were easily the best garlic knots I've had in my life. We also had a small garden salad, which was actually quite big, and shared the Screaming Banshee pizza. I'd mention quality of the food as a redeeming quality before I get into the issues but... We did not get seated! My boyfriend and I are visiting his family in Tucson and we went to Bisbee for sight seeing and to shop. It was already 5:45pm when we got to the Screaming Banshee and we were hungry after walking around all day. We enter and there was 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 tweens... We're standing around waiting and someone in our party asks if we seat ourselves to which the guy at the counter making the pizza responds, "no, someone will be with you in a sec." Completely normal response, so we just stand around listening to the loud music they have behind the bar. This (black haired) woman comes up and says "Oh look at this group of zombies who waltzed in expecting service!" and we brush it off and say there's 7 of us. She pushes past our group then another (blonde) woman comes by and the previous worker fills her in, saying "well these 7 people walked in here asking for our service!" in the most demeaning tone ever. The blonde lady says "oh well we can't sit that many right now.. we can put you on a waitlist and call you when we have an opening." We ask how long the wait is and she just says we'll have to wait. It's also freezing out, probably like 35F and it snowed a few hours earlier so we're saying how we can wait inside since its cold, to which the black haired lady says we have to wait for a call to get served, which we assumed was her kicking us out. They were also saying they can't promise to seat us inside due to our party size. After we left, a group of our size was waiting at the door and the blonde lady opens the door for them very politely and seats them immediately.... I'd also like to mention there was maybe 2 people sharing one table and that was all the business they had. No one at the bar, no one in any other tables, it just seemed like they did not want to do the work. We also were going to share 2 pizzas max, but even if we ALL ordered, we'd be paying them damn well. I really do not understand what the issue is here. Rude and unhelpful service. My boyfriend's cousins have brought their family and friends here and have LOVED the food, but this exchange is just such a bummer and they said they won't bring their service there again. read more

I would say this place is meh. I've had better pizza at other places. The past 2 times I've been there, it immediate flopped, not in a good way, it was because the dough was pretty raw, and the toppings slipped off basically immediately after you picked it up. The mozzarella sticks are pretty good but the redeemable part of this place regarding food here are the garlic knots. They're really good and the marinara sauce compliments it well. What's also nice about the food is you can tell it's more of a homemade style pizza. I like how it's presented to you. I big downside is that it's pretty overpriced for what you get. It's definitely a once in a while when you're out with friends place to eat at. The waiters/waitresses are kinda good at refilling your drinks. It depends on who you get. Sometimes they just leave you alone and you have to ask. The inside is kinda crowded and goodness if someone is remotely loud beside you, you will be hearing EVERYTHING they are saying and barely be able to carry on your own conversations because you're pretty close. There are some decent spots inside you may get but definitely try to get outside if you can. For what it is, I would recommend it as somewhere to eat if you're touring the area. Besides that, I wouldn't recommend it as a regular place to go to. read more

We stopped by here because they had a dog friendly patio and seemed to be the only place in Bisbee open on a Sunday night. We ordered the 'No Besos para ti' to start which I was excited about because I LOVE roasted garlic, however they give you like 5 tiny crostini and half of them were burnt to a crisp, so that was very disappointing.. We also ordered the Banshee pizza and the Cadillac Margherita. The waitress brought us the wrong pizza, stating that she thought that's what we ordered. We did not. we decided to just take to go because it DID look good, and we had her bring us the Margherita that we had originally ordered.....the pizza came super fast and was wrong, so I know they threw that together. There was no fresh mozzarella or feta on this pizza which was stated on the menu and why we wanted it in the first place. Unfortunate. My wine glass was taken without an offer of another glass or anything else to drink. I asked for extra napkins and they never came. We also didn't receive any knives with our appetizer so I had to go inside to ask for them myself. The pizza was actually delicious. Great flavor and fresh tasting ingredients. The service, however, left something to be desired. I do understand that it's a Sunday and not busy and everyone wants to go home, but I'm a server and these are very basic things . We were offered a discount on the mistake pizza, but only because we said something. Overall I would probably return because the pizza was great, but I would avoid the garlic appetizer and probably return on a day when it is busier and the service is more attentive. read more

First of all I am not one to give reviews and nonetheless a bad one but my wife and I had a very unpleasant experience this Saturday, May 2nd. To start off the waiter/manager insisted on speaking Spanish to us which is not wrong but made the ambiance rather uncomfortable. The service was decent but the pizza that we ordered wasn't the one they served but we decided to keep it without letting the waiter know. (Ordered with Diablo sauce served with regular sauce). My wife upon choosing her piece noticed a long brown hair cooked in the dough. Upon looking at the men making the pizza I noticed two men with long hair, one with a hair net the other with a hat on. When the waiter finally came passing by I showed him the hair and told him that we would be leaving for my wife had lost her appetite. I am not one for handouts but no solution to the problem was offered. We were charged $8.35 for 2 lemonades that were hardly touched. Not an apology or a solution was offered but a "that will be $8.35". Very poor customer service. read more

The Good: The pizza was delicious- but as the menu states- they only have one stove? Oven? Therefore, the wings that were ordered took longer to arrive.... The Blah: Although the outside reflects a retro fun aesthetic- the inside is not what you would expect.. The menu has its logo that reminds me of a depressive emo teen going through the goth phase. In Summary: We were hoping to be wow'd- unfortunately the environment is what wow'd in the other direction... would we consider this a fun, family friendly place? Maybe for older teens hungry for pizza. Larger groups might be a tighter squeeze or opt to eat outside for more room! Loved the selection of pizzas and really wish I could have been more adventurous in my choice but I was with friends and we decided on sharing a pizza. We got half Spicy mutha chicken and half Screaming Banshee. Both sides were delicious, however, that chicken half was amazing! Great pie and atmosphere! We had a one hour plus wait as they were packed as well as every other restaurant in Bisbee Labor Day weekend. Anyways, found out we could get a drink at the bar and ended up having our dinner at the bar as well. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of beer (Copper City Ale), my wife had a specialty drink, and a couple of glass of Chardonnay. We came to Bisbee for a day during a busy weekend. we sat outside and it was hot, but had good shade. we ordered the wings and some pizzas. the 3 flavors on the wings we tried all tasted the same- ginger pineapple, Caribbean jerk, and honey chipotle. They also charge $1.50 for tiny cups of dressing. we got the meat lovers pizza, and the Thai pizza.
