We recently moved to the area and tried their pizza; not a fan! Cost pretty much and tastes pretty plain! Will not eat there again.

Maybe I just had bad luck before. I ordered the basil and tomato pizza because I like tomato and basil, and hadn't had it for a while. Absolutely amazing. I tried it on regular crust, which was still good, but I should have ordered it with Sicilian crust. My fault, but the reason I gave four stars instead of five. read more

Hungry for anything, was sick of the usual places on way home from work. Figured I would get pizza at Marios since it is always good, but I have been hungry for a good grill chicken Caesar salad. (McD's did away with theirs, poop). Saw their sign for "improved" Chicken Caesar salad, so that is my healthier choice, I was on board. The salad was $7.75 and what a price performer for the quality. The greens were so fresh and tasty, it was not slopped up with dressing, and loaded with grilled sliced chicken, definitely a meal for two, almost three time the size of McDs grilled Caesar. Mario's has good pizza, but my favorite thing to order from Mario's is the stromboli. It's one of the best I've every had. And you better be hungry, especially if you order the large. It's a lot of stromboli, and typically filled to the very end. My only criticism is they don't deliver, and when you go to pick, it's usually very crowded and it takes awhile. But it's worth the wait. read more

I am giving Mario's 5 stars because their specialty pizzas are amazing. My favorite is the Sicilian Tomato Basil. Deep crust that is perfectly cooked (not over or under cooked) and quality ingredients. Their normal pizza is decent, but probably closer to 3 star quality. A base pizza is well priced, but toppings are really expensive. And certain toppings they will go overboard on while others they skimp on even though you had to pay so much. For example, if I order sausage/pepperoni/green pepper I usually barely get any pepperoni, sausage is about right, and they go overboard with green pepper. The green pepper is usually cut really thick as well so it stays solid and awkward to eat. This is every time I order it, not just 1 experience. I haven't tried many of their other foods, but I don't like their cheese steaks at all. Other people I have spoken to like them though, so maybe it is just preference. read more

I've gone here about four times and I think the pizza is actually pretty good. I can't say it's the best pizza that I've ever tried, but I'm definitely happy with it. I've never had a service issue here, and I've always called ahead of time before I came to pick up. It's definitely a local favorite, however I just recently moved to the area a few months ago so I have a very independent opinion. We also tried a few pasta dishes and there was definitely enough sauce given with the pasta, which I find in many other places is not the case. It's definitely my go to pizza place. read more

Sat down around noon on a weekday. Food: Stromboli was delicious. Seemed slightly undercooked, but not to the point of sogginess. A little greasier than average, but it's a pizzeria so it's hard to say if it was really that significant. Service: Prompt and courteous. The staff is always professional and attentive to detail. Overall experience was excellent. Mario's is a very casual place to grab some quality pizza. Probably the best price for quality in the area by a mile. The dining area is comfortable and fresh, and the staff keeps the facility extremely clean. It is worth mentioning that there are several beer choices available as well. I'm speaking only for the pizza, as I have not tried anything else here yet. It's okay. That's all. If you get it, and eat it there while its fresh and hot its good. If you take it home, and it sits out for more than 5 minutes it is disgusting. The cheese they use is gross, and the crust is soft and floppy. I prefer a more hard crust. Sauce is good, though. We won't avoid the place, but if there's other pizza options, we don't go to marios. read more

I will start with the positive. First, the restaurant is clean and comfortable. I picked up a take-out order, but it's a place I'd be happy to sit, eat and chat with family and friends. The staff is very friendly. We've had their pizza before and it's always been good. This time we got subs and an antipasto. The antipasto was quite large and easily shared amongst 4 adults with leftovers. My only disappointment in the antipasto was that it was not dressed at all. It was loaded with ham, salami and other toppings all over a bed of lettuce, but was not dressed with oil and vinegar and Italian spices. The cold Italian subs and Turkey sub (all with lettuce, tomato and mayo) on soft and tasty rolls were stuffed with meat. They were really, really good! The large is actually HUGE and were easily enough for 2 meals. My only complaint is about the chicken cheese steak. The roll was very good and there was an abundance of chicken. The problem is that it was very dry. There was hardly any sauce. I asked for mushrooms and onions and was hard pressed to find them. Also, there was such a small amount of cheese that I actually thought they'd forgotten the mushrooms, onions and cheese. The end result was a sandwich I would never recommend and never order again. On a positive note the other sandwiches were so good, and the pizza we've had in the past so tasty that we will continue to patronize Mario's. They're not batting 1000, but they are still All Stars. read more

As others have said, sometimes Marios can be quite quite busy and sometimes their pizza slips a bit, however, they do normally have very good plain and pepperoni pizza. I havent had anything else from the restaurant because everyone in our family likes the pizza so much. I would probably suggest take out vs dining in as well. read more
