Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

That did not make the food Taste good at all. They put way too much garlic in it, and the food was impossible to eat because it was overcooked and it was rubbery. I was very disappointed on how much money I spent . if I knew in advance that they had a family emergency and was closing 1 hour early I would've waited and come back the next day and maybe the food would've have tasted a lot better. It was the lobster seafood boil for two couples, and I bought two sets for four couples. Just beware that if they're in a hurry, try not to be in a hurry to eat here. You probably get a better experience than what my family did. I've been to crab shacks before that has seafood boil and they were way better and not so stingy for the price they charge you. when I was there, there was only one family sitting at a table. That level of care made me feel comfortable and truly valued as a guest. We also enjoyed the complimentary crackers and bread with a delicious buttery dip. They offer a military discount, too, which was a nice bonus! Between the food, generous portions, great service, and attention to my allergy, this was a wonderful experience. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. An automated male voice asked what I wanted. As I was ordering, a grumpy female voice said I needed to wait. I waited, both cars in front left. I still waited and waited. Finally, she took my order even though she was unclear and spoke way too much and too fast. The bad speaker didn't help. Had trouble explaining they had no regular butter, then she had issues understanding which butter I then requested. It took several attempts to get it right. Took a while to figure out the cost (on a computer?), and she quoted a price that was way too much for the order. The computer charged $1 more for the lobster rolls than the price on the wall near the speaker. The salad wasn't the $5 chicken salad they promote either. They refused to honor the lobster roll price on the wall which was a dollar less each than what their computer said. The worker said she couldn't change the price, only a higher up could. I told her I would wait while she called the higher up. I waited and waited again. Quite a few cars left the drive through due to the wait time and no movement of the line. The prices on the menu on the wall were changed previously with Dyno labels. You can see the tape covering older prices and stating what's unavailable. They couldn't do that again easily? Really? Angie's refused to honor the price clearly shown on their wall. What do you call it when they charge you more than the sticker price? Is this bait and switch? Does it sound like business fraud? I believe so. I was told the computer pricing was changed but the signage was not yet changed. Why not, if it meant printing out labels and affixing? I asked specifically if they were not honoring the posted price. They said no, they weren't offering that price. They told me to call corporate. No apology. Nothing. Nope, just reviewing and posting social media. I ended up driving away after wasting about 45 minutes on nonsense. The so-so food's not worth the aggravation. I love when the legs have a lot of meat and you can break it without splitting it in half. But this was not the case. Sigh... not sure if the legs were overcooked. Nevertheless, the sauce saved it. My first time trying the garlic noodles. I've never seen it on the menu so it must be new. Overall, I'd still visit all Hot & Juicy Restaurants. The sauce is what sets them apart.
