Location; Bethany Home and 43rd Ave, just a bit east of 43rd Ave. Big spacious restaurant. Food; I was craving Shrimp Cocktail and they did not disappoint. Fresh and crisp, and came with all the fixings. Also, tried a Michelada that was ever so tasty, perfect amount of everything. The best part of that saladito on the bottom to finish off my beverage. Service; I sat myself and the Server was super friendly, and made sure I was ok entire time.

I had dinner at Marisa's last night and I was really impressed. I ordered the shrimp tacos which they breaded per my request. And a side of beans. We also ordered the oysters and drinks. The service was great.

Rally good Mexican food!! They bring you complementary chips and salsa to start. We started with an appetizer which was the queso fundido with mushrooms. It was good but a little too runny for me. We ordered flour tortillas as it didn't come with any and the chips just didn't do it lol. We had the caldo de siete mares which is a seafood stew. So appropriate for lunch in a cold afternoon. The plate/portion was nice. The price was good too. The waitress was really nice and the restaurant overall was nice and clean with a big parking lot :)

Seriously devastated after going here.... High hopes crushed by salty food yet weak flavor food. Seafood soup was so salty it was inedible, literally only ate the octopus and shrimp. Steak fajitas had this odd almost artificial flavor, salty again and just not good. Highlight of the meal was tamarind margaritas and chips/salsa. Sorry Marisa we won't be back.

Extremely impressed. So glad we found this place. We were craving aquachile & boy was it fantastic, then dinner came & the portions were gigantic, but so delicious. Kids food was great too, good selection of options. Excited to come back again, menu is huge & there is so much to try!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch. We were seated right away and the service was pretty decent. I'm not an expert on seafood by any means, but I did grow up in Cali and we crossed the boarder quit a bit for mariscos. The food was just okay. Nothing we ordered really stood out as fantastic. Although a friend of mine ordered the Molcajete, now that was tasty. Also, we did have a couple of banda trios stop by our table to convince us to have them play a song, but that was a big fat negative. In fact no one in the restaurant bought a song. Not sure I'd come here again. I'd rather check out the neighboring restaurants to see how they fare before I return.

HoooOOoOoOoooOLy Mariscos!! I can honestly say I am so comfortably full and it was probs the best seafood I've had in a long time. Our girlfriend Genesis is allergic to shellfish so we asked if they could make a separate ceviche de pescado for her and they did!! The waitress we had made sure to tell them to not let shellfish touch ANYTHING on that ceviche and it was sooooo fresh!!! I ordered the cóctel de ceviche de camarón and it was so well seasoned and flavored. Tiffany got La Torre China and said the octopus was so fresh. It's a little far than our usual areas of hangs but it was SO worth it. I had to write a review. We will be back!! Thanks for the yummy dinner!!

My family and I have been coming here for years, today we went to celebrate my sister's graduation,…read morethis is her favorite restaurant. Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

I picked the garlic and lemon pepper. well unfortunately they use the garlic that is already crushed and cut and not fresh garlic in their food and they overcooked the crab and if you do get the lobster tail, they give you 1 whole lobster tail cut in half for two people and they give you lots of shrimp, I mean a lot of shrimp compared to anything else in that seafood broil bag had they overcooked all the sea food and they used a lot of that crushed already diced garlic. That did not make the food Taste good at all. They put way too much garlic in it, and the food was impossible to eat because it was overcooked and it was rubbery. I was very disappointed on how much money I spent . if I knew in advance that they had a family emergency and was closing 1 hour early I would've waited and come back the next day and maybe the food would've have tasted a lot better. It was the lobster seafood boil for two couples, and I bought two sets for four couples. Just beware that if they're in a hurry, try not to be in a hurry to eat here. You probably get a better experience than what my family did. I've been to crab shacks before that has seafood boil and they were way better and not so stingy for the price they charge you. when I was there, there was only one family sitting at a table. The rest of the restaurant was empty. The waitress she was very friendly and very nice and very accommodating.

The service was friendly and fast, everyone enjoyed their food, and the portions were HUGE. Everything tasted fresh, and my chicken was cooked perfectly. What stood out most was how seriously they took my seafood allergy. I was initially nervous about eating at a seafood restaurant, but the manager personally came to our table, asked about my reactions, and assured me that my food would be prepared in a separate area from the seafood. That level of care made me feel comfortable and truly valued as a guest. We also enjoyed the complimentary crackers and bread with a delicious buttery dip. They offer a military discount, too, which was a nice bonus! Between the food, generous portions, great service, and attention to my allergy, this was a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend giving them a try, and we will absolutely be back.

But our server was great and he would have gotten the 20% at least... I don't know why I didn't take pictures except for mine. Probably because I was so freaking annoyed. Well for a start Fruit De Mer, $37.95 for shrimp, crab fingers and oysters. Shrimp was OK, they weren't pealed probably so I bit into small shells few times, crab fingers was super tiny with almost no meat to little meat, little fishy, not tasty, oysters.. two big and two tiny ones. Big ones I'm guessing Louisiana oysters, small one I have no idea. I kid you not small ones looked like ones you get at cheap Chinese buffet. For how much you got the price you pay was beyond me. I think maybe 15 bux might have been OK. Rest of the dishes were pretty good but when I saw my dish I was confused. I had to look at the menu to see if I made the right order. Looked at the picture I took 11 months ago and verified I orders the same dish. I know cost of things have gotten up and some times you have to decide keep the price same and give smaller portion or raise the price.. Well I would have preferred either or. Not the dish I got which looked and tasted like, keep the same peice, add more pasta, put less seafood. I was so annoyed I wanted to complain but I got the evil eyes from my wifey since it was a bday dinner celebration, so I kept my mout shut. I remember seafood gumbo being amazing but for some reason shrimp gumbo was also pure disappointment. Little salty and lacked the flavor that I remember eating. Definitely not worth the price for a cup. Filet mignon for $68.95 definitely was not worth the price tag also. Over all food was pretty good but not as good as last time I ate there. Service was still great which is nice. I cannot keep this place 4 starts anymore. And I used to recommend this place to everybody but not after today. That almost $38 appetizer was sad and over priced and they totally ruined my Pasta Mardi Gras. Maybe I am being too harsh but 8 people dinner with 3 appetizers, one main dishes per person, just water to drink for over $650, I just could not get over the fact that it was not worth the over all price.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

Hasn't been here in a long while and decided to try again on a Sunday afternoon. Big mistake! Oh…read moreboy! First, a long car line that took forever to move. Second lane was not being used but cars kept entering and then having to back up, most left completely after that situation. After about 20-25 minutes in line, I finally got up to the speaker. An automated male voice asked what I wanted. As I was ordering, a grumpy female voice said I needed to wait. I waited, both cars in front left. I still waited and waited. Finally, she took my order even though she was unclear and spoke way too much and too fast. The bad speaker didn't help. Had trouble explaining they had no regular butter, then she had issues understanding which butter I then requested. It took several attempts to get it right. Took a while to figure out the cost (on a computer?), and she quoted a price that was way too much for the order. The computer charged $1 more for the lobster rolls than the price on the wall near the speaker. The salad wasn't the $5 chicken salad they promote either. They refused to honor the lobster roll price on the wall which was a dollar less each than what their computer said. The worker said she couldn't change the price, only a higher up could. I told her I would wait while she called the higher up. I waited and waited again. Quite a few cars left the drive through due to the wait time and no movement of the line. The prices on the menu on the wall were changed previously with Dyno labels. You can see the tape covering older prices and stating what's unavailable. They couldn't do that again easily? Really? Angie's refused to honor the price clearly shown on their wall. What do you call it when they charge you more than the sticker price? Is this bait and switch? Does it sound like business fraud? I believe so. I was told the computer pricing was changed but the signage was not yet changed. Why not, if it meant printing out labels and affixing? I asked specifically if they were not honoring the posted price. They said no, they weren't offering that price. They told me to call corporate. No apology. Nothing. Nope, just reviewing and posting social media. I ended up driving away after wasting about 45 minutes on nonsense. The so-so food's not worth the aggravation. I noticed too that some past offerings were no longer available. Shame on Angie's! Should I call the AZ attorney general's office about the probable fraud? Horrible customer service and wait times in a hot long drive through. Never again.
