This is a popular eatery, especially for families and special occasions. If there's a birthday, you'll hear an air horn celebrating it. The atmosphere is bright and there are sports on every tv to look at. The food we had, jambalaya and shrimp bowl, were excellent. But what makes this place five stars was the service. Came here for a Father's Day lunch with my husband and his dad (: we got seated right away. Staff is friendly and our waitress was very attentive. The inside has a fun casual feel to it with all the writing on the walls haha. Good place to bring your kid if they like drawing on walls lol. I was just there yesterday and was having a great time until I received my bill. I ordered a flavored lemonade thinking nothing of it and was shocked when I saw a charge of $24 for 4 lemonades. I was never told by any of the 3 servers that where attending the table that the lemonade did not include free refills. We came here on a Saturday afternoon after taking our kids to play at the indoor playground next door. The wonderful aromas of the food was quickly noted outside there building, which is why we decided to give them a try. Best decision ever! It was pretty packed but luckily we did not have to wait to be seated. We brought our 4 little ones with us, since it seemed family friendly. We were greeted by Caleb, who did a fantastic job! He was very friendly & welcoming. Once we were seated, my husband had to go to the car for our daughter's bottle & then use the restroom. The waitress was kind & patient while we caught up on those things for our kids. I did not catch her name, but she was great! The restaurant itself is very clean, including the restrooms. It is also, family friendly. So if you're checking out the kids playground next door, give this place a try! We try to avoid places where it's a quiet ambiance since we have 4 kids under 5. This place was loud & fun in the most positive way. They give shout outs to individuals when it's their birthday & they celebrate great customer service with a bell. It does get loud but it's okay bc kids can be loud anyways & it's not to loud where you can't enjoy your food or conversations. My 6 month old was able to sleep through most of the celebrations. The food was so good! My husband and I ordered 1 lbs of shrimp each & he added sausage and corn to his order. Our food was delicious, fresh & well seasoned. The spice level was spot on as well! My 3 little boys had the chicken tenders, cod & seasoned fries. My husband & I tried a couple of their fries haha and they were sooo good! It's such a great family place, we were worried about eating there bc it's hard to find a nice restaurant with quality food that won't mind little kids, being kids. But they were more than welcoming & had a nice kids menu with good size portions as well. They also provided crayons for our little ones to write on the paper laid out on the table, so they can stay busy while the food arrives. Great idea! We are fairly new to the area and both husband and I like seafood so it was a no brainer. The thing that struck me the most was the top notch staff. Frank was great, offering information right from the start with our drink choice. When I asked to have the onion garnish left off my bowl he automatically asked me about whether I preferred to keep the minced garlic. I would not have thought about that. He and all the staff were so pleasant. And manager, Jenny, came to welcome us for our first visit and ask more about us as residents. We went to Angry Crab @ 7608 W Cactus Rd. To celebrate my son and granddaughters birthday on 12/13/25. It's been a year or so since I have eaten there. Even though the king crab legs were $85.00/lb I decided to treat myself. What a huge disappointment. The crab legs were so small they were SLIGHTLY bigger that the snow crab legs and I mean SLIGHTLY. The last time I was there I got a total of 4 crab legs that weighed 1 lb... Saturday there was 9 SKINNY crab legs that had very little meat in them. Jordan was an attentive and friendly server. I had the fried shrimp basket with fries and potato salad. The shrimp didn't taste fresh and was mostly batter; very similar to frozen shrimp; didn't taste fresh at all. The fries were good and the potato salad was nice. Stopped in to the angry shack o'crabs the other night. I bellied up to the bar, with my wife. Keenan strolled up with a huge smile on his face. We ordered some cocktails, that were made to perfection. He recommended a couple dishes that we had never tried, as well as one of their Purple Haze draft beers with a floater of Peach Schnapps. Holy freaking annoyed decapods, Batman!! That shit was fire!! Great recommendation!! The food came out steaming and delicious. Once it hits your tongue, you get transported to the world of the decadent. A world seldom get to experience. If the angry crab shack was a live video game, we just leveled up to the boss level. What a great experience. Keenan fucking killed it!! Great attitude, charming, hilarious. What more could I ask for? Clad in a lobster-shaped hat, eyepatch, and a plastic hook for a left hand, he effortlessly blended in with the enchanting ambiance of the restaurant. His infectious cackle filled the air, setting the tone for an evening of messy absurdity. Now, dear reader, let me regale you with the culinary wonders that awaited me. The menu, crafted with a touch of sophistication and a dash of madness, offered dishes that defied the boundaries of conventional cuisine. Took my son here for his birthday because he loves seafood. He had a seagiod boil and I had the Grilled Salmon. The salmon was delicious! I had fishy tasting fish and this was not! It was cooked to perfection. It came with veggies and your choice of rice or linguine. The table "cloth" is paper so you can draw on it and make a mess!!
