What can be said about Mariscos Choix? It's always great. The food at this location is great just like the one I usually go to in Pico Rivera. The service is always top notch. The ambience is really nice at this one because the restaurant is a little bigger (a lot bigger, actually). My waiter was great. Moises was absolutely great with us. Real attentive and communicative. Moises made the evening special for us. Only one thing! One negative about this spot. No sushi. I love my sushi rolls from Mariscos Choix. But I understand why they don't have them at this location. We are back again, but this time for my MIL bday dinner! Moises was our server and gave us AMAZING service from beginning to end! Also, Albert who wasn't even our server, kept checking in on us and even gave us his recommendations on food to try! He recommended us to try the Tacos de Pulpo! Moises recommended us to try the Tostada camaron rebelde and to also the NY steak fajitas! He even surprised us with churros for her Bday! Lastly can't forget about Jorge constantly checking on us! Service was good، great ambiance and live music. The margarita was amazing however $18 for a small virgin margarita seems expensive . Loved the guacamole appetizer but steak fajitas was just OK $35. OMG, this place has roaches! We were eating comfortably until we noticed one crawling under our feet--then another heading straight toward the kitchen. Our server clearly saw it but pretended not to, and when I addressed it, she brushed it off. Another employee informed the manager, who killed the roach and wiped it up with a napkin. I'm sorry, but as a restaurant, it's your responsibility to maintain regular pest control and keep the establishment clean. We felt sick to our stomachs and will never return. The manager--not the server--did come by to apologize, but honestly, the situation was unacceptable. We paid our bill (though we probably shouldn't have) because of our morals, and we even tipped the server since it wasn't her fault. But at the very least, acknowledge the issue instead of acting like we didn't all see the same disgusting pest. read more

So first of all, the place was under construction but yet professionally displayed for guest to enjoy their meals and live music. We got here on a sunday after noon. There was no wait time for a party of 8, so thats was amazing! The waiter gaves us a couple of recommendations on the menu and we tried it. Loved the service! The food was delicious and the michelada was refreshing. The churros were a tad too sweet but good. Overall great quality foor but the price waa a bit too high for my liking. Someone in their review earlier said they almost made them cry when they tasted them because they were so good - and I second. They were rich, succulent, juicy and delicious. The avocado that accompanied the shrimp and the delectable garlic sauce was perfectly ripe. Absolutely divine. My server Melissa was so gracious and helpful. She made me a non-alcoholic Paloma and it was tasty. I loved the ambience, so fun but also casual. It was my first time there and they were so friendly and welcoming that the manager even came to my table to personally greet me!
