I have to admit this spot is an underrated spot. The happy hour is pretty good for drinks and snacks. There's pretty good amount of seating including outdoor. The place is well kept and clean. There is also televisions with the game on. Service was good. The waitress did check in on us and the drinks kept coming. It was a very hot day. Onto the food. The fish taco wasn't anything exciting and was at par. The mango tostada was very delicious. It had an interesting flavor due to the sweetness of the mango. We really love the food here and the prices are great, especially during happy hour, but unfortunately the service was terrible. Our group of 5 sat outside during happy hour for about 3 hours, and during that entire time we were only asked if we needed anything twice. At one point, I literally had to stand up and wave through the glass just to get our waitress's attention so we could order. What made it more frustrating was watching the table directly next to us get checked on multiple times while the staff would walk away without even acknowledging our table. At the end, we waited over 20 minutes just to be charged. We honestly could have walked out without paying and I don't think anyone would have noticed. We really enjoy the food and would love to come back, but the service definitely needs improvement. Sunday 03.15.2026 12:00sh Went here for Sunday Brunch. We were in the area winging our location to find a place to eat. Found this spot in the corner of Downey and Firestone. Parked in the Back which had plenty of parking. Walked in the restaurant and was greeted and seated. We were seated at a booth on the right side of the restaurant. We noticed the Ambiance had a lot of Pink in the room. From the Dia Dos Los Muertos doll, Mural, Ceilings, and walls. The owner must really like pink. Ordered a Tamarindo Michelada with Negro Modelo, Margarita Flight, Carne Asada Taco, Enchilada, Huevos Ranchero, and Chips with Guacamole. After 10 Minutes, we received our drinks. They were very tasty! Another 10 Minutes goes by and we received our food. The food entrees that were delicious are the Chips Guacamole, Huevos Rancheros, and Enchilada. The Carne Asada Taco, not so much. The Carne Asada was hard, tasted old. I had a feeling they used leftovers from the previous night just by tasting it. Through my experience only. The restroom can use some work. It felt dirty in there. Graffiti on the walls. Mirrors were dirty. The serious thing I noticed in the restroom was there was no soap to clean your hands. This is unacceptable! Big Negative for not providing cleanliness. Overall, I would come back if in the area. Only for Taco Tuesdays, hoping the taco will taste a lot better than what I tasted today. Our waitress's name is Dixi. She is a little rough on the edges. Felt like we were being rushed to order. Other then that, she did a good job. Just the little things that are noticed. We waited for 45 minutes. Husband went inside to ask how much longer and they informed him they gave our table away. The waitress lied and said they had come out and called our name 4 times. We were sitting on the planter in front of the door. We saw the waitress come out three times. She called Esmeralda once and then called Victor twice. Never did she come and called our group, especially not four times like she claimed. If she would have said I'm sorry, I messed up and gave your table away I would have understood. I got a mojarra and some guac with shrimp and it was generally one of the best meals that I've had as I'm typing this I'm really fool, but not bloated the waitress Dammaris is one of the sweetest waitresses and constantly kept checking on me to make sure that everything was good. She was also filling up my cup of water without me asking. She also had recommended the guac saying it's really good and I trusted her, and it was one of the best choices to make not just because of the food but also because of her service I will be returning to this restaurant. Proceed with caution. Our experience here was extremely disappointing and concerning. The food quality was unacceptable. The potato looked old and had a grayish black appearance when you move the sour cream and the butter away from it, the rice had a foul smell and an even worse taste. The octopus was rubbery and clearly overcooked, and the mojarra was excessively fried to the point of being dry and only lukewarm when served. The only items consumed were the guacamole and our drinks. When we brought these issues to the staff's attention, their response was dismissive and lacked any real concern. We still offered to pay for what we did consume, the guacamole and lemonade, which they accepted without hesitation. First off, walking in this place, I was not greeted and didn't know if a host led you to table or you find your own. Secondly, this restaurant was not that clean. Had them to wipe the menus because it was sticky. Thirdly, omg, don't get me started on the fish tacos....they were not good. Fish, had that thawed from frozen taste and not crispy at all. The cabbages was shredded so crazy big, I think they do that to fill up the taco. Another thing, they mix the pico with the cabbage. Other restaurants keep the separately. And the worst thing about the taco is the ranch they throw on it to pretend it's crema or sour cream. It just left a bad after taste in my mouth. Like I need a chaser for that meal. I've been here twice, both times on Taco Tuesday. I love the fish taco deal they have and not only are the tacos delicious but the margaritas are $5 all day. Both times I went, the servers were attentive in the beginning and then they were hard to track down or to get them to come over, so they are definitely lacking here.
