He bought 2 carne asada tortas totaling to about $17. When he got home I opened the foil and was a bit disappointed. The bread was burnt on both side. The food here is always satisfying, and you can grab a cold beer to go with your meal. Food is always hot, delicious, and good sized servings. Priced right. Been eating here 2 years now. Staff is always friendly, and seem to have good food prep practices. Plenty of seating here. There isn't a bathroom that I am aware of so bring clean hands, or some wipes. My two biggest gripes with asada is greasiness and fattiness, this possesses neither of those attributes. I love the torta the best and the super burrito with everything in it! My only complaint are the French fries! I decided to order the torta combo. The fries were straight up mush, I couldn't believe they would serve such soggy fries. BUT then again who goes to a Mexican place for French fries ? Lol so I'll let it slide. Fours starts because the specials for Wednesdays are tacos and you can grab a taco for $1! They also have a salsa bar with three options. I loved the avocado salsa paired with the green salsa. They also have the red salsa which definitely has a heat factor to it. I ordered the carne asada, abodabo, and carnitas. They were all quite good for $1 and the portion size was pretty filling. If your looking for an evening/late night taco run, this is a good spot. There's a seafood truck and a regular Mexican food truck. They have some delicious micheladas. You can also order a bucket of beer, not bad for happy hour with coworkers. So far, I have tried the carnitas torta, asada burrito, chips and salsa, and carne asada tacos. I came on a Tuesday night and they had a special on the "Mixta Tostada" basically all the seafood on a tostada. I also grabbed a Margarita and honestly that was the biggest disappointment. I don't like sweet margaritas and this one tasted like strawberry juice to me. I don't know about you but if I can't taste the tequila I'm not happy. Regardless it was refreshing and super cute. There are plenty of TVs and it stays relatively fresh for being outdoors. Last but not least their restrooms were very clean making me feel comfortable about eating their food. It always feels sketchy having someone cook your food when you know that they washed their hands in a dirty restroom. Clean restroom = clean food. At least I like to think so. Their carnitas tacos are bomb and they're not too greasy. Unlike other taco places, they don't pile up a bunch of toppings on it either. This place is very bad. The food is of super low quality, flavorless, very bland. The shrimp are disgusting ( rubbery and not deveined). The oysters were luke warm ( room temp), they were served on a single cheap paper plate with plastic spoon that broke with the first try. The tables are filthy dirty and flies everywhere. I am sure rhat this might be " authentic in mexico", but here we like clean tables, cleaned seafood, cold oysters and possibly at minimum a good sixie paper plate. I do NOT recommend to come eat here until they get their act together. People can get very sick from warm seafood. read more

If you are craving tacos, this place is ok. It will suffice the craving. However, if you want to try their seafood, look somewhere else. The first time I came here, I ordered a shrimp cocktail. The cocktail only had like 6 shrimps and it was expensive. Then the second time, I ordered their shrimp and octopus tostada.... it was horrible. Ordered: 2 Tripas Tacos plate, 2 Cabeza Plate, 2 tripas tacos, 1 asada tacos, and 2 Asada fries. I wouldn't come back here anymore for Mexican food. The verde sauce and the red sauce has no flavor at all. The meat was not marinated therefore there was no flavors of any sorts, i had to add salts to make it tasty. My lime was so bitter it made my tacos bitter. I can't have onions so i requested for no onions on my Cabeza but the salsa has onions in it, which didn't make sense to me. The Asada fries was just really off, the meat tasted like Hamburger meat and not Asada. The workers, the lady that helped us was nice but the guy in the back kitchen....he had asked me if it was correct that the Asada fries was "For here?" And i told him no it was to go, he sort of raised his hand up to the lady that helped us. I don't know if that's how they joke as co workers?? That was just wrong, it really killed my mood. read more
