My usual order is the aguachiles. However, it tastes different than before. It is like they are using a different recipe or ingredients. Don't get me wrong, it was still good but it tastes like it had too much cilantro, it was not as spicy as I would like it and it did not have the red chilis in it like it usually does. I did notice that there is not an option to make it very spicy on DoorDash. I asked for hot but i would describe it as mild. Some of the most enormous dishes I've ever seen. So if you love mariscos, this is definitely the spot. Very few tables with an extensive menu. Super friendly staff. We order the oyster shooters, oysters on the half shell, Botana Paro Uno and a Fish Burrito. The shooters were tasty, lots of Tajin. We have been clients to Mariscos Corona for the past 10 plus years. We don't quite go all the time but we try a few times a year. My rating of 4 out of 5 is solid and fair, rates and pricing have changed as well as their portions getting smaller. I recommend some renovations to cater to their pricing so it can draw more new clientele and keep us from wanted to come back more often instead of local competition. I am a fan of their Shrimp Cocktail entree, steak tacos, and definitely their molcajete. I recommend them and their service is fast and friendly. read more

It is super casual, very hole-in-the-wall vibes...tucked in a small strip mall, with just a handful of tables, you order at the counter and await the most delicious meal you'll have in a long time. We ordered the parrillada for 2 and added langostino, then we were convinced to order the parrillada for 4 instead since it came with langostino. It was an easy sell, and we had no shame ordering this much food. Turns out, it was a great decision. What arrived to our table turned heads -- and we were able to eat about 95% of it. Like I said, no shame. It's in a small parking lot and we were able to find a spot without a problem. Staff are super friendly, chips and salsa are delish. But the cheesy hot simmering sauce the fries are drenched with is delicious. I got myself the regular size seafood mix cocktail. There was a variety of seafood such as oyster, shrimp, octopus & mussels. They definitely aren't cheap with how much they give you as there was plenty of protein. Overall not bad but could be better. I think the juice itself could taste better. My disappointment was with the wet burrito. There is a few options of meat you can chose from but I went with shrimp. Presentation was beautiful but when i finally ate a few pieces of shrimp they were over cooked. The meat was tough to chew. The sauce itself wasn't spicy but too salty for my liking. And so good, I liked that the ceviche was more in the chunky side and the shrimp was plump and meaty (enough to feed 2-3 people) For additional $1.50 you can add the Aguachile sauce, like a jalapeño juice sauce. I asked for it in the side in case it was too spicy. $14 2 taco combo plate - tacos were ok, had better shrimp and fish tacos other places. Service was great! Vanessa was our server, super patient and assisted with everything we needed. They have a map from where everyone comes out to visit, so had to put the east bay on there!
