I discovered Los Tres Hermanos after browsing local restaurants. There is parking available in the back, though it's a tad tight and might not have spots available even in the afternoon. The staff were friendly, though service was on the slower end. The environment sports a dark brown woody color scheme. My server started me off with chips and a bean dip which was a simple but tasty appetizer. For entrees, I had their Sizzling Enchiladas (steak) - and tasty it was. I was surprised to see that it also came with a side of beans and rice and even guac (!). I love guac, and I definitely enjoyed a cold serving of this with leftover chips. Their enchiladas rested on a layer of fresh veggies. Overall, the enchiladas were very salty but was tolerable when paired with the veggies. This is the real deal of you like Mexican food. They have food I've never heard of and I lived in Mexico for a while. Everything is authentic. The waiters and waitresses are wonderful and you can tell. It's a real deal because most of the people that are eating here from the neighborhood. The ambience is authentically Mexican with day of the dead celebration Decor all over the restaurant for the October celebration. Everything is five star except the food. To be honest, I think it's about a four star they could do a little better. But you're not gonna find better guacamole or better red beans and rice. But too many things are a little under season for a Mexican restaurant I would like to see them step that up. And you have to peel the shrimp. As a person with finger nails I'm not into that but I understand if that's what makes it authentic. Daphne bragged all about how she been working at the location for years yet couldn't redeem a gift card. Various agua fresca drinks along with soda fountain and bottled options. Chips with bean dip provided to those eating in. I ate the taco, enchilada and rellano combo. Taco was good with shredded beef. The shell was wider to reduce breaking. Enchilada and rellano were also good but a lot of cheese (should have ordered meat in the enchilada so that's on me). Excellent rice. My friend ordered a torta that came covered in salsa. The initial heat surprised him but he finished it. The torta was large so the rice and beans were not touched. I've been going to Los Trea Hermanos for 10 years. It has been a reliable.c neighborhood Mexican with very reasonable prices. I went today for the first time in several months and was shocked that the prices have been jacked up. Tableside guacamole is $18.99 (Chow Now shows it as $12.99). Grilled steak quesadilla is $18.99 (Chow Now shows it as $12.59). Most entrees have similarly been inflated by $6-$8. On top of that, they added a $1.99 service charge and charged more to pay with a credit card. Lunch for two people (two entrees and two sodas) was $70 after fees, tax, and tip. The food is still good, but I will be looking for a new neighborhood Mexican restaurant with more reasonable prices read more
