What an interesting place ! Very nice, very modern, and it's decor seemed to be a tribute to famous musica Norteño singers. There were even several dishes named for them in the menu as well. In hindsight those singers are probably from Sinaloa somewhere. And they have Pablo Escobar and Scarface ceviche towers haha ! They really should have had a dish named for Culiacán's famous boxer Julio Cesar Chavez too...just sayin' It's a Mexican seafood restaurant, so that is the bulk of the menu. I had the molcajete arrachera, which is a stone pot full of boiling goodies..Mine had a tough as nails flank steak, shrimp, queso fresco, and....CACTUS !! It was all just sizzling there in a really delicious sauce. If you are familiar with Sinaloa seafood, I would imagine its probably going to feel very very down-home..if you absolutely don't, like me, its a wild and fantastic ride off the same old tired path of chain restaurants. Unfortunately I used to go here often, however each time it takes me more time to return due to disappointing food quality,size, or high price for what you get. Tonight I got shrimp cocktail to go and received very few shrimp with gritty still in it, no veggies, and all liquid for 15 bucks. Visited this place after receiving numerous ads on social media and banging music/jingle. First, the decor was just as seen on the picture nothing outstanding but fitting to the marketing done online. This location didn't have any reviews or photos so we had to resort to other locations and google. As soon as we walked in, we were promptly greeted, seated, and served with chips, salsa, and the requested beverages. **please note that the sever brought us water bottles (we asked for water with lemon) because he didn't want to give us tap water (respectable!) however he did not tell us there was a charge for each water bottle. We didn't have a problem paying the fee but I think we should've been made aware in order to make a decision whether we wanted the water bottles or not** After deciding to order the well marketed "Torre" and sushi roll we had to wait over 30 minutes to get the food. The waiter was polite but stated there were many "to-go" orders that needed to be processed before our food came out... despite us ordering before said to go orders were placed. Moving on, we received the Scarface Torre which collapsed rather quickly once we both put our forks in to eat. Flavor wise the torre was good but not as great as we were expecting - and the seafood was ok. Sushi roll was crunchy and warm and which is good but Sunny's sushi in the same strip mall has better rolls. Overall, we rated this place 2 stars because we didn't feel like it lived up to its marketing and the food was just "Ok".. not memorable to say the least. read more

Took them a while to seat me , but I look like a tourist so ‍. Food came out fairly quickly and my waiter had a lot of tables and still kept up. The aesthetic of the place was real back yard get together which was cute. All on all, I'll be back. read more

So delicious!!! The wait for your food is a bit long, hence the 4 Star rating, but honestly it was worth the wait. The fried sushi roll was enough for a meal by itself but we didn't know. The shrimp tacos were amazing. The service was very friendly. read more

Don't recomendable this place at all, besides the fact that they took forever to bring our food, the shrimp where full of poop, the cook didn't clean them good and when told about it they said that all shrimp are served like that the tostadas were stale because they have them put in the open on the little baskets! This was a nice change to other restaurants in El Paso. My husband and I were in the mood for something different and this definitely hit the spot. When we arrived the atmosphere was great and they immediately took our drink order. The restrooms were clean. The tables felt a little crowded because the chairs were so bulky and i didn't have anywhere to put my baby who was in a car seat because we were a family of 5 at a table for 4, an upside down high chair or sling would've been nice. They were super packed at the time we got there and it took a while for us to get our food but thankfully they gave us salsas and tostadas which were good. They were also offering samples of some type of tequila to the adults. We ordered chicken nuggets for our kids and it was a good serving of nuggets with rice and fries, my kids enjoyed it. My husband and I decided to share the coctel presidente and my initial thought was "that's it, we're going to share?" And I was also a little hesitant due to the price of $29.99... ... but once they brought it out, it was HUGE. I loved the presentation, the fact that they weren't stingy with the avocado, and it was delicious for mariscos. Definitely worth the wait and the price. I think next time I'll try the shrimp tacos! I'm really disappointed at this place. I used to come here all the time, not the case anymore. From the moment I came in and sat, the waitress didn't even acknowledge me. Then 5 minutes after asked for my drink, not to mention they don't sell beer, so then limonada it is. Then took like 10 minutes, brought me tostadas that were chewy and old. When I put my drink down on the table, the table was so uneven, that it was so uncomfortable because my plates seemed like they were in a water bed lol. Ordered ceviche and I will say it's the worst ceviche I have ever had. The shrimp and vegetables were not even cut right, some big chunks some super small. Not a good flavor.
