This was the Scarface Torre. It's a lot bigger than you prolly think it is. This was refreshing, and filling.

Took them a while to seat me , but I look like a tourist so ‍. Food came out fairly quickly and my waiter had a lot of tables and still kept up. The aesthetic of the place was real back yard get together which was cute. All on all, I'll be back.

Shrimp Tacos and what was left of our gigantic sushi roll

So delicious!!! The wait for your food is a bit long, hence the 4 Star rating, but honestly it was worth the wait. The fried sushi roll was enough for a meal by itself but we didn't know. The shrimp tacos were amazing. The service was very friendly.

    Shrimp with poop

Don't recomendable this place at all, besides the fact that they took forever to bring our food, the shrimp where full of poop, the cook didn't clean them good and when told about it they said that all shrimp are served like that the tostadas were stale because they have them put in the open on the little baskets! They didn't have most of the things in the menu so our options were limited.

All that was in one little shrimp

It nasty like very nasty all food was horrible all the shrimp was full of excrement how nasty is that eating your food with animal excrement and apart from that they haven't washed the dishes, all dirty dishes are on top of the counter for people to see it not even sanitary and not to forget they took for ever with the order 1hr and 15 for a cocktail of shrimp how ridiculous is that even the the shrimp that was "cooked" in the pan was worst

Simply stunning original takes on Mexican food Can't…read morerecommend this place enough. I eat here almost every time I come to El Paso Portions are large, prices are very reasonable. Best tasting crickets I've ever had. If they had a $10 bowl of just them, I'd order it.

Let me start by saying that the ELEMI restaurant in Eastlake is definitely a step above your…read moreaverage Tex-Mex taqueria in El Paso and, in my opinion, a much stronger culinary experience than the Elemi taqueria in Cimarron. The restaurant offers a cozy contemporary feel with a minimalist modern touch. The white oak and high ceiling also contributes to a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Right from the start, I loved the presentation of the Pepino--refreshing, creative, and unlike anything I've seen elsewhere. The Aguachile Callo de Hacha was outstanding, easily one of the highlights of the evening. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend ordering the following tacos - Campesino ($7) and the Pato al Pastor ($8); both are packed with original flavors and showcase the chef's creativity. Their Jamaica drink is also excellent and pairs beautifully with the food. Chef Emiliano Marentes has deservedly earned national recognition and James Beard acclaim, which naturally creates high expectations before you even walk through the door. So that is always creating an issue as many of us expect perfection. The restaurant was moderately busy, with some people waiting to be seated. The biggest disappointment, however, was the pace. We waited approximately 25 minutes for our food despite the restaurant not appearing especially full. Then came the most unexpected wait of the evening--the restroom. Standing in line for more than 15 minutes just to use the bathroom is something I've never experienced at a restaurant. That took away from what had started as a very enjoyable evening. Service was efficient without any fluff. Overall this is a solid 4.0/5.0.
