My husband and I decided to have a little lunch date here last week, we had been meaning to try it for some time now. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Everything was very clean. We started with a miso soup and then shared three rolls. My favorite was the kickflip mctwist. It was so good! The other two rolls were good as well. I can't wait to go back and try the fried rolls and the fried sushi donuts! Glad to have this place in our area! Give this place a try!

Me and my girlfriend love coming to this Sushi restaurant. We are new in to the sushi world but these definitely always have hit the spot! Genuinely the service is impeccable, Crystal has also been a great server that constantly checks on us but is not overwhelming. Their complementary Miso is the bomb. Overall the food is absolutely a 8.9 on a harsher scale. Service is a 9.5 because they like to keep the customers and employees happy. They are very consistent as well, these photos are from different visits and each time has been really nice and welcoming. The place is also spotless clean 9.6 cleanliness.

I am happy this small sushi joint opened up so close to the neighborhood. I am not thrilled about the restaurant theme, but the delicious fresh ingredients get me to overlook it. The Spaghetti cucumber Tropical salad was made fresh, it was refreshing and hits the spot. It has sweet ripe mango, toasted coconut and delectable butterfly shrimp. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal of their different, interesting, and wild creations. I recommend the OH YEAH! It has seared lemon slices and jalapeños, WOW! A must try. This is definitely worth the drive and I would rather eat here than another sushi establishment down the street that has a machine make the rolls and charge you outrageous prices for half the quantity.

First off, kudos to the chef/owner. Such a vibe, down to the skate references and flavors. It was our second time here and I didn't know it could possibly be better than the first time we had it. Presentation down to service is amazing.

Great service , great food , incredibly delicious!! Highly reccomended

Good sushi, nice people. Store looks cool in the inside but it smells like sewage backup inside so we take the food to go.

Food didn't taste fresh. Crab was imitation not real crab. Small portions. Was not impressed with their sushi.

Surprisingly it was pretty busy for being a Tuesday night. A good sign that they're popular! My husband and I were seated right away and our waiter came to get our drink order pretty fast. We both really like their Crab meat puffs so we ordered one order each. Honestly I'd say that's my favorite item on their menu. I could do with just having those. They're so delicious with just the right amount of cream cheese and crab filling. For sushi I ordered the Golden California roll and my husband tried their Samurai roll. He said he liked his choice! I, on the other hand, will probably steer clear of the golden Cali roll from now on. They made the roll very wide and cut it at an angle so when I ate it I either got a bite of just the crab or the cucumber and avocado. It also fell apart very easily so it was pretty difficult to eat. I'll probably just stay with fresh rolls if they cut all their deep fried sushi the same way, it's just awkward to eat and you don't get the full scope of fillings because it's too big. Service at this location is great though! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to us during our visit. I'll still be back to try other sushi options and their delicious crab meat puffs! But I'd highly suggest staying away from the golden Cali roll.

We felt fine after eating and took a roll to-go (Spicy Salmon) I ate mine and that was a couple of days ago... Ive been sick for days. Nausea, stomach pains and other symptoms but mainly those of food poisoning. It could have been anything we ate, so Im listing what we had; Both Tuna and Salmon Nigiri, he took a jalapeno salmon roll home and I took the fried spicy salmon roll home too. I had some hot sake, the iced raspberry tea and the matcha cake. The matcha cake also tasted stale and the icing tasted like pure dye. It would be so much better with regular frosting and the strawberry layer. I am a regular sake drinker, never had any terrible effects. My fiancé is just fine but we ordered different things. Definitely gonna have to take a trip to the doctor. Please check their health code ratings and ask for it to be fresh!

We visited on a weeknight for dinner and were seated right away. The restaurant was fairly busy for it being a weeknight but the service was still great! Our waiter came out right away to get our drink order. I asked him for a recommendation for their flavored Sake and he suggested the white peach so I ordered that. It was good! Very strong. But I liked it. My husband and I each got our own order of crab Rangoon. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! I'd honestly get two orders just for myself, it was so delicious. For my main dish I got the California roll. I know, I'm very basic. But honestly it is my favorite! I think we may have come on an off day for them because the rice used for the sushi rolls was a bit dry. But it wasn't unbearable. They also give free miso soup and pickled cucumbers. Very tasty! I'd definitely come back for their crab Rangoon alone! Service was great too, I'll be back again.

My husband is a fan of hibachi style cuisine so we looked up a spot near our home and Koze was the first to pop up! They also had good reviews so we were all for it. When we first arrived the hostess asked if we wanted to be seated at the grill (for show) or the dining room. Since my husband does like watching the cook do his thing, we opted to wait the 15-20 minutes for a grill to become available. Next time we will definitely make note to call ahead and make a reservation though! Once we were seated we looked over the menu to see our options. I will say that the service at Koze was a bit lacking. Our waitress took quite a while to come around for our drink order, main course and then at the end of the evening for us to pay our bill. I'm not sure if she was serving a lot of other tables for the night but that was just our experience. It would have been nice if she came around more so we weren't looking for her. My husbands parents got the shrimp and scallop meal to split, my husband ordered the chicken and scallops. I, however, decided to try their sushi - so I got the California roll and the BBQ salmon roll. Once the chef came around to start cooking (which took quite a while) he started the show. I will also note that there was a bit of a language barrier between us and the chef. He tried asking us questions, such as if we were celebrating a birthday, but it was very hard for us to understand what he was saying. We could also tell he was a bit new at the job because certain "tricks" he'd mess up on or had to try a couple times before he got it right. For the food, I will say that I did enjoy my sushi. Both rolls were delicious! My husband ate mostly the protein on his plate. They give a huge portion of fried rice for the main courses, it's definitely enough for two people. I believe his parents said they thought the meal was good as well. I think it came down to the service we received which kind of left a bad impression. The food was good it was just the lack of service that left me wanting more. I know there are other hibachi restaurants in El Paso. I will probably try those with my husband. I wouldn't mind coming back to Koze, I understand maybe they were just having a bad day. But I would also try other places.

VERY fresh and tasty. The prices? I still cannot believe we ate so much delicious food for that amount of money. My wife wanted a Salmon Steak. The rolls here are much bigger in size than most places and it felt like it was harder to eat without it just falling apart. It was my coworkers first time trying sushi and sadly it didn't really impress him much. I also picked this place due to the reviews but it seems like the name has been changed and maybe the business owner as well because it's now called Sushi Gang. I would say my favorite thing was the Eel nigiri. The dragon roll didn't meet my expectations from other Dragon rolls I had before. The Golden California roll was better than the Dragon roll. The staff was nice but they recommended something else to try and honestly it was very good. I don't even remember what it was but it was like a rice ball. I can't say I would go back here but give it a try and see if it meets your expectations. They seem to short staffed and that could be what went wrong that day but not sure.
