I tried this tacos place since it was the closest place to the job site. I asked the cashier for a recommendation, and she said the carne asada burrito. I bought that, and asked for guacamole inside the burrito. They didn't have guacamole, but she offered avocado and I accepted. Things were going good until I ate half of the burrito. The meat was pretty much tasteless and very little of it. The burrito had a lot of rice. I could only taste the rice and creamy blend of cheese and sour cream (I think). What's worse, there was no avocado in the burrito. Funny part about this is, I had asked someone who just ate there before I went, and that person said the burrito sucks. I was hungry and thought, maybe, I would get a better result. It didn't happened. I don't recommend the asada burrito, nor will I come back again. I should start tipping after the meal instead of before, when everything is as expected. If Yelp doesn't post my receipt. The burrito cost $9.95 plus $0.75 (credit card fee). Tax was $0.94 and tip was $2.34, totaling $13.95 for the burrito. Definitely not worth the price. I would gladly pay more if the meat was real carne asada, flavored, and more of it in the burrito. The food is delicious, I enjoy the Marlin Tacos and King Kong. The only reason I don't give it a 5 stars is because they say they open at 11, but on 2 occasion they weren't ready. On one of the occasions, I waited outside until 11:20, ordered at 11:30 and got food at 11:45. The owner was late and the only one that makes the King Kong. They didn't apologize for their tardiness. I did not have to doctor it up to get the flavor I enjoy. It was served perfect and cold as it should be. I lived in Mexico for 25 years, I grew up there and the flavors here are legit, unfortunately the place was very dirty, the floors were full of trash and crumbs everywhere, the tables were full with food from people that had left about half an hour, we had to clean our table with napkins because the waiter never did. I mean is the staff that made this experience bad because the food was delicious. The food is delicious! We come to Moreno Valley once a year because our son is in a drum corps and they are housed here before starting their tour for the summer. We found this place last year and had to go back for more this year since their food was so good. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the service, while not horrible, could use some help. Also, the floors were pretty dirty imo. Still can't take away from the fact that the food has been on point both times we've visited. Their Gobernador Shrimp Tacos are sooo good as well as their Shrimp and Fish Ceviche and the Aguachiles. To start this is off, I highly suggest anyone to avoid this place at all cost. I wouldn't give this food to a stray dog! The environment is not welcoming and the food is horrendous. Everything I had order came out very greasy and soggy. The rice had tasted as if was purchased at Cardenas and the beans had been over topped with too much cheese. The wait was very long for the food and to get seated or welcome it took well over 10 minutes. A lot of the food is also overpriced, If I could I'd give this place no stars! read more

Walked in here because i wanted to wait somewhere while my oil change was being done a cross the way. And im glad i did, i got the tacos Gobernador VIP which filled with cheese, shrimp, green anaheim chiles and avacados. With a serving of some spicy crema. My wife got the chilaquiles rojos with rice and beans, she also loved them, they were nice and crispy not over cooked in sauce to were you get a soggy tortilla. Really good food, only thing was the service took forever. I understand it was semi busy, but the staff made little effort try and serve all the customers. They were mainly focused at just certain tables. Still the food was great and the prices were decent, if they'd been more attentive to our table definitely would put a 5. There was shrimp in ever single bite, and huge plump shrimp. They serve it with a side of their secret sauce which is a creamy smoky sauce. Went up to the wall where they have digferent sauces available and picked out what seems to be their house made sauce, a delicious smoky chilli sauce. Its in a plastic sauce bottle with no label. Decided to have some lunch. The place is hidden unless you have gps. The waitress was nice handled are needs. Place wasn't packed went here at 12pm. So service was great! I ordered 2 vip tacos which were really good. I'd say one of the best I have tried. The tostada aquachile is really good I wish it was a little spicer and it could have been a little cheaper $9 it a little to much for the portion they give you. The ceviches tostadas are worth the money. Just the right amount of salt and no need to add more lemon to them they are perfect.
