    The menu options very very limited , the music around 8pm here very very pound the prices are about the same as every typical Mexican Bar & Grill , the waitress was very friendly very nice , the food was ok , maybe not for the price but I assume the price is due to the ambiance , it's very nice inside

    Got the filet minot/shrimp, the ribeye steak, and mega shrimp roll. Their sushi has way too much rice to the point where you just feel like you're eating just rice with sauce. i asked for medium rare on my ribeye steak and it came out well done. not that good for the price of everything. My sister enjoyed the filet minot/shrimp even though it also came out well done when she asked for medium rare

    I wanted to take a moment to thank David and the entire team at Alux for helping me host an amazing birthday happy hour. From the very beginning, David was incredibly easy to work with and took the time to understand my vision for the event. The end result exceeded all of my expectations. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was perfect, and the drinks were amazing. Most importantly, my family and friends had an incredible time and have not stopped talking about how much they enjoyed the experience. Thank you again to David and the Alux staff for making my birthday so special. We truly appreciate the hospitality and will definitely be back to support and enjoy another great experience!

    My daughter and I were in MorenoValley looking for a place to eat. The first restaurant we tried was too busy, so we spotted Alux down the street. When we walked in, it was mostly empty except for a table of of 8. There were three staff sitting at the bar when we arrived, and we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or wait to be greeted. After about five or ten minutes, someone finally came over to greet us a. Even then, it took a while before anyone said anything to us after we set. The bartender eventually came by to take our order. We ordered our food and drinks, and it took 20 minutes just to get the drinks and about 45 minutes for the food--even though there was basically only one table besides ours. We also asked for chips and salsa, which never arrived. During the meal, the executive chef came by to try and sell us alcohol by the bottle, which felt awkward. The whole vibe was just a little off. As for the food: I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and asked for my eggs over easy, but they came over hard. We also tried the chiliquiles which were just okay. The food looked fancy, but it didn't match the taste. The interior is really pretty, and the ambiance is nice, but the music was too loud to seem like a nightclub during the afternoon. but the service was slow... ready to. Overall, I wouldn't come back and can't recommend this place. by the way, the mimosas were full of orange juice and the Michelada was full of tomato .

    We were greeted as soon as we walked in and got to choose our table. We ended up going with a booth, and it was super comfortable. We loved the décor, it instantly made us think of Cancún and our vacation there. I ordered the Pulpo Zarandeado and it was so delicious. My husband ordered the ribeye, and he really enjoyed it. We also got a side of chips and French fries--both were super good. The salsa was BOMB and the guacamole was BOMB too.

    Medicore experience and rating for the service. What really bothered me was that I was told there are no paper menus, I had to scan a QR code that is etched into a woodblock on the table. Somewhat annoying, but it gets worse. The QR code doesn't work with Samsung or Google Pixel phones, so neither my date or I could look at the menu. Then, the bartender comes around and scan it on his iPhone and says it works with iPhone and offers to let me look at the menu on his phone. That's no way to run a business. Then he tells me I can go to their website and see the menu. I have to ask for water and when I do decide on a dish, the cook comes out and tells me that don't have that meat, and if I wanted to pick something else. So, I got the ribeye instead, which was delicious. Tighten up and do better people.

    Gorgeous interior. I was met by a friendly staff right before happy hour ended. Roberto was my bartender and hooked it up with a great margarita. I ordered the Tacos de Ribeye and it was perfect. Sounds like they have great promotions most nights of the week. Definitely worth coming to for all food and drink enthusiasts!

    My niece told me to send an email about this but honestly, who reads emails anymore? After seeing videos online, we decided to give this place a try, so we drove the 2 hours to get here; and while at first glance it seemed a bit underwhelming I believe we came on a slow night. The food was good (although my medium-well filet mignon came out medium-raw) and the server was great. He quickly remedied the error with drinks and desserts on the house. There were a couple groups that were celebrating birthdays so the servers came out with noisemakers and sparklers which livened up the atmosphere. The DJ booth was empty but we did see a costumed guy at the bar which was pretty funny. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because of the automatic gratuity added to the bill for our party of 5. Who does that? The restaurant was just dark enough for us not to notice and the fact that the bill had suggested tip costs with the automatic gratuity included in that suggestion is unreal. So, the 22% tip we were trying to give quickly turned into a 39% tip. Alux - do better! Post this "fee" or let the customer know when you drop off the bill that the gratuity is already included. NO ONE LIKES TO FEEL LIKE THEY ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

    Had a great time at Alux! The happy hour drinks were so yummy, especially the tamarindo and cucumber margaritas, super refreshing. The queso fundido was absolutely delicious, and the whole place has such a beautiful atmosphere. Roberto the bartender was attentive and made the experience even better. Definitely recommend!

    If you're looking for somewhere fresh and new you've found it. The mezcalitas were fire!! Enchiladas de pollo were moist as flavorful. Servers were so attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

    Ambiance: The restaurant decor is beautiful, large and spacious with a bit of a club vibe. Food: The food was delicious. I had the ribeye tacos which were a nice size with plenty of meat. I had a cocktail and it was amazing. Kudos to the bartender. I also had a shrimp taco. The shrimp was seasoned well with a light and crispy battle. My sister had the chicken enchiladas plate with rice and beans. The presentation of the food was nice. I'd definitely go back for the food. However I've never gone to a Mexican restaurant with no chips and salsa for the table. That said, the salsa for the tacos were delicious. I had a habanero, a tomatillo and a chipotle. Each was amazing and really made the taco even better. Service: The server was very kind and tried to make us happy but he did not the menu and took a minute to get our order. He got my vote for his desire to help and although it took a while he got our order correct. I liked him. I met the manager and he was cool to talk to and very personable. Parking: Great parking Overall: I would definitely go back when in the area. Great food! Good service. Great ambiance! A little overpriced but as a foodie it was worth it for me.

    Simple review: food was on the salty side pretty average but beautiful interior In depth review: beans and rice were definitely too salty and I love rice and beans, the mashed potatoes were delicious and so were the chips and salsa, we also ordered the octopus which we had to send back because it was cold, the fried fish was the opposite; lacking in flavor, and the birria tacos were too salty I made my bf eat it for me. Overall: beautiful atmosphere for drinks and to chill but the food I wouldn't go there for the food again to be honest.

    The food presentation was elegant, complemented by the chic ambiance and stylish melodies. The side dishes were mediocre, but we truly enjoyed only the fish tacos and octopus. While the tomahawk steak had a flawless sear, its texture was disappointingly tough, suggesting prolonged freezing and subsequent thawing. It wasn't fresh at all. Regrettably, its quality did not justify the price. The tabla alux was disappointing. The chicken lacked moisture and palatability, while the skirt steak was chewy. Both tasted old. They need quality control on their inventory or don't overbuy just to freeze it for a couple of months. Server was nice and attentive. They also added the auto gratuity. Thank goodness my husband looked at the receipt.

Mind you this was during baseball season heading to playoffs. The bar was packed for the game and trivia night and she was the only one working on a Tuesday night. We sat at a table near the projector and received exceptional service. She covered every single person at the bar and bar top tables with an ease. Not only recommending and upselling drinks, but making sure I never had to ask for a refill when i was almost empty. unfortunately, every time after that (when she was not on service) was everything but exceptional. Service is horrible. Glasses are dirty with lipstick stains and rims from past drinks. It seems the girls forget that they are at work and more busy hiding in the corner texting than putting my drink order in. Flirting with the dj's and/or talking to their friends. I'm simple a bottle of beer is all i order for the most part. All you have to do it pop the top and hand me my beer. So when I have to wait 10-15 mins just to order, then another 10-15 for you to finish texting in the corner before punching in my order to the register, and then wait for you to actually grab my beer. I am better off going elsewhere. it is really unfortunate the service here is lacking because there was so much potential for this place in moreno valley. it's not like your prices are dirt cheap for people to look the other way in regards to service. there's plenty of other places with better deals and servers who actually work and care about their customers.

There is a pool table, plently of seating, and even and outdoor area. They do check ID after 5 or 6pm. There is usually one to two bartenders working at a time. I've had good and bad service here. The bar is always very clean and the play every game. We haven't tried the food, but I know they do offer it. We really enjoy the trivia nights on Tuesday!

However, I've been back a number of times & while I love the restaurant, it's seriously struggling when it comes to food & service. The last straw came when our family came to eat there after going to the cemetery together with my dad for my mom's birthday. She passed in 2022 so we usually go as a family & then go out to eat afterwards. It was relatively empty with one large party finishing up their dessert & a party of 4. We were a party of 14. So we waited so we could be seated together. We asked to be seated in the main dining area at a large group of tables together but were told that those tables were "reserved." So we waited about 20 minutes & the party of 4 left first. So we all sat there next to the pool table. We got menus & the waitress took our drink orders. It took 25 minutes more in the relatively deserted restaurant for the waitress to take our food orders. Once she took our orders we waited...and waited...and waited. Meanwhile the restaurant is starting to get busy. Everyone around us that came after us was getting their food. But not any of us. Finally, 2 of our orders came out. Then about 15 minutes later 2 more orders came out. It continues like this & I'm at the other end of the table & still waiting for our food. It's been 2 hours now & I'm hangry. My sister finally got her side dinner salad. Yes you got that right-- she waited 2 hours for a side dinner salad! She also ordered pasta & took one bite and you guessed it--the dish was barely warm. She had waited 2 hours for a dinner salad and cold pasta. The waitress offered to have it remade but she wasn't willing to wait an eternity for them to redo her dish so she asked the waitress to just have them reheat it. My other sister finally got her salad which was an actual meal with cold chicken and other veggies in it (smart girl I guess because it being cold wasn't a problem). After that, the cold pasta was brought to the table reheated. They finally brought my dish which was an appetizer platter that was supposed to include jalapeño poppers, pectaters with pulled pork, fried pickles and onion rings. I had ordered this because my husband had ordered the Mac & Cheese with the pulled pork & we intended to share because he loves the poppers. I noticed that there were more pecktaters & no poppers. I asked the waitress where the poppers were. She replied, "Oh they ran out of those so they substituted the pectaters." I kind of lost it by that point because I'd already waited 2 1/2 hours for an appetizer platter (which usually comes first not last). I said, "That would have been good to know BEFORE I ordered. The whole reason I got this as a meal was because my husband loves the poppers." She replied "Let me check & see if I can deduct $5 off or you can order something else." Honestly I was NOT going to wait forever for them to make something else so we just took the $5 off because by this time we had been there 3 hours. So I had all these pecktaters which I did not eat & by this time my hunger had passed & I didn't feel like eating a bunch of massive potato balls. I ate the onion rings & fried pickles had two bites of Mac & cheese & I was done. Seriously, in what restaurant universe do you substitute something in an order WITHOUT asking the customer?! I'm sorry but in the restaurant business, the customer is king. They are the reason you're in business. While I realize we were a large party, it was so vexing that the kitchen couldn't get our orders out while everyone that came later was getting their food. Then some of us got cold food (my sister's pasta wasn't the only dish that came out cold). It's just not good service. Also bringing out dishes 2 at a time with 10-15 minutes in between & bringing out cold food is not acceptable. Substituting other items for what was ordered without asking the customer is also not acceptable. This was an important occasion for my family and spending so much time watching other people get their food and waiting so long for ours was disappointing. My family never wants to eat there again. This was an EPIC FAIL. It's not the first time that the service was subpar since my first visit. I've gone with just my husband & had a similar experience with slow service & cold food & watched employees on cell phones ignoring us. I kept giving it chances because it really is a cool place but I just can't justify spending money for food and service like this. I will not be going here again. That's pretty sad because if the kitchen got their act together & the service was remarkably better I would love eating here. When they get the food out hot and cooked right it's definitely really good. But I'm sorry I can't pay good money for more miss than hit.
