CASH ONLY! I repeat CASH ONLY! The place is attached to a gas station so it is kind of hidden. There is plenty of parking. Once in the place it looks dingy and does not look like much but the reviews make one try it any way. I would have given the place 5 stars but the service was a lacking a little polish. I am sure they are tired as they seem busy but their emotions, facial expressions, were worn on their sleeves. Kind of made it a tad uncomfortable when asking questions. Once the food came out we over looked that portion of the experience. The Wife got her sea food platter called "King Kong." She absolutely loved it. It was a, literally, a mountain of scrumptious sea food in agua Chile. I got a carne asada taco that was good and a shrimp taco the "Gobernador" was delicious! All the food was super fresh and made when ordered. Prices are not bad for it being sea food. All in all we had the King Kong, quesadilla, 2 tacos (carne asada/Gobernador), chilaquiles and 2 cokes for $43. I had a friend recommend this place to me several times! We finally went one day for lunch, there was maybe only one other table with three people. Oh my goodness the ceviche was amazing! By far the best ceviche I have ever had was in TJ once, and this has the same exact flavor. I've gone to several mariscos spots but I honestly do not know what it is that made it so great. Every ceviche taste almost the same, but this has a distinct flavor I recognized & made to sooooo good. It was so good, I went again later that day with my friend. I didn't give it 5 stars because the servers are a bit slow. We also waited a long time for our food both times. I've worked at two different mariscos restaurants as a server, and it's definitely not the service you want to be giving people. They were nice, just extremely slow, would forget to bring out drink refills, or tostadas, etc. I had to walk up to the front to pay because I was waiting for like twenty minutes to get my check. I love this place. The aguachiles and shrimp ceviche here are the best I've had. They're consistent with the flavor and whenever I eat my shrimp it's "cooked" buttery and delicious. They get busy and may not answer the phone sometimes so I'll literally drive there, place the order and wait which hasn't ever really taken "that" long. Calling has helped and they're on point when I go that route. I have tried other dishes and loved them all, but most importantly I can't wait to take my visitors from out of town here and show them I be eating good haha. My husband and I stopped here on our way home. 40 minutes later and we are still waiting for our food. A big party came in and it seemed as if the restaurant employees knew them so of course they got served first even though we got to the restaurant before the big party. All we ordered was one taco and four tostadas, that's it!! I've never gone to a place we're it takes longer than 40 minutes to serve a taco and four tostadas.... I feel like this place is the epitome of "hole-in-the-wall." Not knowing what to get, I got their cameron empanizano burrito (deep fried shrimp). Honestly, it was more like shrimp-shaped deep fried batter, because I did not taste any shrimp at all. The burrito was about $10 and was huuuuge, maybe just a tad under a foot long. There was wayyyy too much rice in there, I felt like each section had like 1/3 rice. However, their dipping sauce is deliiiiishh! It's homemade and creamy. My friend got the carne asada burrito and she liked it, but also found random globs of rice in certain parts of the burrito too. This place was a miss with me this visit. This is a hidden little spot my coworkers shared with me. The service was meh, but courteous. The space is shared with the gas station and you need to walk in from the side door or thru the services station store. I came in for the marlin fish tacos. I have to say they were delicious just like a spot back in SA. If you like seafood and the taste of sally fish I suggest you try the marlin tacos. I ordered the Gobernador quesadilla and my husband tried the King Kong. Both were really good and both were big portions. SERVICE: The service is not up to par at all. The place is small and only has 2 waitresses. The day my husband and I went I attempted to call the location twice before to make sure it was open and both times I did not get an answer. We arrived and there were about 4 other parties seated and eating so it was not busy at all. We waiting at the door for a few minutes until a waitress finally acknowledged us and told us to take a seat. The table was dirty and it took the waitress about 7 mins to come and clean it. She also was not too welcoming. My husband and I have decided to give the restaurant another shot in the near future because the food is pretty good. I will update my review then. read more

I found this hidden gem on Facebook and decided to try it out for myself. I ordered a large shrimp cocktail to go and my husband ordered the King Kong with some gobernador tacos . Let me just say, the cocktail was perfect. It had cut up cucumbers, tomato, cilantro, purple onion, and a bunch of avocado. I did not have to add anything to it. It was super delicious and even my 5 year old kept asking me for more. I could taste the lemon as well. I didn't want to add Tapatio and take from the flavors it already had. I will for sure be ordering at least weekly. The tacos were delicious as well. I will have my husband review the King Kong. read more
