Sushi platter
Josh J.

This is a bomb mariscos restaurant. It gets packed because of how popular this spot is. Service was good. The sushi platter was perfect for my group to dig in, highly recommend. So much flavor in the sushi. They have a good amount of options to choose from. The micheladas are really good and refreshing. Their mojarra frita was delicious. We were stuffed and the sushi platter really isn't very expensive with how much they give you. This spot is worth going out of the way to. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

Been coming here for year. It is my favorite mariscos spot in LA. Everything is a 100/10.

Chose this place to "check out" a new Mariscos spot in the area for my convenience. I always like to drive away from my current establishment. Parking was confusing but let me just clear the air by saying that the lot next to them (that looks like a clinic) is welcome for you to park there. Moving forward, I walked in and waited for a bit "to be seated" as we all should (by the way) and the greeter/waiter by the name of JR greeted me and offered me a counter spot for myself or the booth he saw me eyeing. He didnt make a face or gesture and invited me to sit there. Once i sat, my experience began. Jr was so attentive with me and everyone else, like on the dot. He'd be checking a table out and ill reach in for a request and he would fulfill it right away! His multitasking skills were amazing. I wanted to actually hire him as the manager that i personally am lol. Tostada de ceviche was great! Right portion for the price. The michelada did its thing (ordering a michi can be scary cus some places dont get it right) and man truthfully im here today to give him the review he deserves. The restaurant and environment was really chill, even at the peak hr i was in for. Thank you Jr

Such a great place to get together to grab sushi and delicious ceviche! Everything on the menu is so delicious! They just moved across the street from the original location, right now they are next to the KFC/Taco bell. Must try place! The owner is super nice and very welcoming.

A lot of people waiting. Not enough parking. The girls employees were nice didn't offer a lot of customer service. Food arrived fast. The food portion's were ok. Food taste was nothing that WOW me. We came to try this place because we were in the area, I will not drive here just to eat here again. The ambience was good not loud.

The Ceviche Mixto is such a great appetizer or even a meal itself. Don't forget to try their amazing micheladas!

I found out about this spot from Yelp of course :)…read more The employees are really nice even the cooks will greet you from the window and overall they make me feel appreciated as a customer and I find that really special. The food is fantastic! I am a connoisseur of all things seafood and It's such a blessing to live in Los Angeles and have delicious fresh Mariscos at your fingertips. I had the Aguachile, The Beer battered Shrimp Tacos and Ceviche. Everything was very tasty. I Love fresh Raw Seafood, but my mom wasn't as adventurous so I opted to get her the cooked version. Both are equally as tasty! Everything tasted Fresh, bright and vibrant with the lime juices. The Aguachile had a nice kick, but very tasty and fresh. Depending on the time you go they do have an accessible patio area that's available for outdoor dining. We sat inside and the music was festive and lively. There are also TV's if you want to watch a sports game. Definitely would recommend trying Lalo's out if you're in the area.

My husband and I hardly ever carry cash so we had to use their atm machine for a three dollar fee. We usually get the ceviche mixto, shrimp cocktail & fried calamari. This time we only ordered the ceviche mixto & fried calamari due to the cash amount we got from the atm. & unfortunately the calamari was very stale. It had a weird aftertaste as if the oil was a little old. Customer service was great as always.

We arrived around 1pm on a Friday and chose to sit in the back patio area. Service was extremely nice and accommodating. To eat, we ordered the Ceviche de Pescado and the Pescado Zarandeado. To drink, Corona. The food was all flavorful and delicious. The ambiance was very enjoyable, as well. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. I ordered the ceviche cocido and found it to be mostly tomato, onion, and cucumber with very little seafood. It was also surprisingly flavorless. I also ordered shrimp with salsa langostina, and unfortunately that dish lacked flavor as well. The food was so underwhelming that I ended up taking it to go, but honestly, I don't even plan on finishing it. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, I had already been waiting in line for quite some time. The cashier chose to help another customer before me, and when I pointed it out, his response was simply, "I didn't even notice." It felt dismissive and added to an already disappointing visit. As someone who has supported this restaurant for years, this was one of the worst experiences I've had here. Between the bland food and poor customer service, I'm sad to say that I don't see myself returning anytime soon.

It's one of those "low-key hidden but worth finding" spots. Don't let the location fool you! I went on a Tuesday during the week when it wasn't busy at all -- nice and chill vibes. But babyyy once 6 PM hit? Dinner time activated. The crowd definitely started rolling in and you could feel the energy shift. So just know traffic picks up later in the evening if you're planning a visit. Now let's get into what matters: The staff? Super attentive and kind. I love when servers check on you just enough without hovering. And the food came out HOT. Not warm. Not "it's been sitting." I'm talking steaming, fresh, straight-to-the-table heat -- which is exactly how a crab boil should hit. Portions were generous because I was overly stuffed and still had plenty left over for the next day (which honestly might be the best part). Nothing like reheating a seafood boil and running it back. Thank you for hosting me and my guest -- we had such a good experience. I'll definitely be back for my next crab boil fix lol

We waited for 30 minutes to be seated even though plenty of tables were open, waited another 30 minutes to place an order, waited another 40 minutes until the food came out. At least the decor was "cute" pretty standard for a seafood boil and had TVs. We got 3 pounds of shrimp with the flavor mix and the spiciest level of heat in addition to some Cajun fries. The seafood was so bland and the fries were so dry with little to no seasoning.

The prices are very high for what you get and the food is just a greasy mess. We had high hopes for this place. Oh, and I got sick and had to drive to work/pleasure the next day so that was fun.
