Green Chilaquiles Breakfast with Over Medium Eggs
Nathandra W.

These chilaquiles were good! They were a little spicy and needed a little salt but overall still good. The over medium eggs definitely took it over the top and the rice and beans were a nice edition also. I would be open to going back and trying some of their other menu items. FYI, this plate cost me $15 with taxes which wasn't bad at all

I am so glad that I was able to find this spot on Yelp as Oaxaca Cafe and not like it is on Google as Burrito Caliente. This place has authentic Oaxacan sazón, mom approved. Enough said. We usually go for tlayudas at Guelaguetza but we were driving around the area and decided to stop by this place. It may be hard to spot since they changed their name to Burrito Caliente after COVID to attract a wider range of customers but this place hits the spot. If you have ever been to Oaxaca you will know the vibe as soon as you walk in here, it has the authentic Oaxacan restaurant vibe like those you can find in the colonias del centro de Oaxaca. Such a beautiful restaurant and the owners are so friendly and attentive. Bring your mom for brunch here and enjoy a wonderful meal.

One of the best Tlayudas I've had around LA county. Meat was nice and tender with so much flavor packed in. The actual dough was chewy and crispy. Toppings were piled high and tasted so fresh. The chorizo was also a stand out. Had a nice snap to it yet it also melted in your mouth and not too greasy. Would come back to try even more things!

My favorite are the tlayuda and memelitas on this page
Quinn V.

Great place. Got the tyaluda with all the meat. It huge. Came with in a large pizza box. Has sausage, and other other well-seasoned meats in it. Would get it again. Ordered are a torta, but they have me a burrito. It was food and I stop ate it. It was massive. Some got memelitas and I wouldn't get those again. Maybe I don't know how to eat them right. Next time, I'm going to try the molotes. They sounds delicious.

I couldn't tell you how many times I've drove by this business but today I wanted tacos and didn't want to go out my way to get them, so I decided let me give them a go. There's plenty of parking not as much during rush hour, I order 2 asada and 3 pollo tacos w the salsa on the side $1.50 each, it comes with onions and cilantro rounded up to $9. It took several minutes but we got it fresh and hot, I could feel the steam through the foil, once I got home I unraveled these beauties, good meat to tortilla ratio, the red onions threw me off and I didn't even bother w the salsa, just a squirt of lime. My mom thought they were flavorful, to me there was nothing extraordinary about these tacos. The tortillas were good, the chicken might be the most tender and juiciest I've ever had in a taco but It missed the mark with the flavor profile, I'm looking for food that makes me want to return, I won't miss or crave this particular spot but they are food never the less.

Cafe de olla was absolutely flavorsome

This little restaurant opened a few months ago and have been eyeing it. Finally stopped in for lunch and gosh were my taste buds having a party. I had a tuna salad with a turkey sandwich ( yes I had all that lol) and of course can't forget my Cafe de olla!!!!!!!! The waitress was really nice and answered all my questions. -They have parking lot on the property. -Restrooms inside -Handicap accessible parking -Accepts cards -Has AC -They have the best Chips & Salsaaaaaa See you guys soon

Large Jamaica
Dawna Z.

This place is tucked away in a corner on Crenshaw & 110th. It could be easily missed due to most places in this plaza are open for lease and the restaurants name is not located on the sign for the plaza. Any-who, let me get to what you came to read... the good is delicious. It has that feeling of home cooked and the atmosphere in the restaurant is vibrant and comforting. I got the Molotes De Papa Con Chorizo, minus the lettuce and it was delish. Heavy and comforting. I could only get through one and half of them. I also got a large Jamaica. (Large is an understatement, see pic.) My girlfriend got the Huevos Rancheros. I just looked over at her plate, and well... it was demolished. So, looks like it was just as delicious as mine. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. She refilled our chips and salsa twice and provided her insight on what I should order. I definitely recommend this little gem.

It has amazing food , I love the ambiance of this restaurant and the service is so good, definitely recommend. The mole is tasty too

$3.50 for supposedly a huge sweet tamale. Had to crack it it was so hard in burned. Trash

I've always passed this place. My car was at a mechanic's shop and this place was walking distance from my home. I ordered 2 chicken tamales and she said $4 each because they are big. Ok I'll get 2 and a sweet corn tamale $3.50 for myself. This is why to see before you leave what you got. The $4 tamales wasn't as big a she said and I didn't take a pic. I was more into the tamale I got. I noticed it was really hot. Opened it and under it was burned and hard as a rock!! How can you not notice when puttingim it in the bag why is one side so hard? How can u sell me a $3.50 for a small burned tamale. I know tamales dont cost $4 or $3.50anywhere but I bought them cus shes showing me they're huge. RIP off

Red chilaquiles came out cold we told the server and she was apologetic and offered us a replacement we opted to get something else

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience.
